Tip Top Chinese Takeaway in Sandwell

We have used tiptop every saturday for roughly 18 months. Our order has never changed and we always let the delivery man keep the change. Unfortunately on saturday 7th Dec we done our usual order bare in mind this has never changed they know our house number off our number and postcode. Unfortunately upon delivery we realised the chicken curry was missing not an issue mistakes happen so phoned back up only for the person at the other end to not believe this had been missed. I explained 6 times that it was missing and got passed onto another member off staff who argued their orders are double checked when clearly this isnt the case. After 18 months this was the first issue we had but was handled for us so poorly. They replaced our curry but to more or less call me a thief was a step too far. Will be going elsewhere from now on for our usual saturday treat. Annoyed as 18 months we have supported this buisness.

Order from here often. Delivery is quick, price is very reasonable. Food is OK, tasty and consistent. Meat is quality curry quite nice, chowmein very nice, ribs delicious, rice always cooked flavoursome, good portion sizes. Staff very friendly and polite.

Just had Chinese curry and chips, disappointed with food hardly any chicken , the chips were all really hard, the sauce didn’t have much flavour. Normally good food . Shame please look at production and freshness.

The food was dreadful, tasteless, and when I called they refused to believe us and became argumentative. Won’t be using there again luckily there are lot of other Chinese takeaways

Really gone downhill. I'd say shocking customer service, but that would mean there was some. Part of tonight's order just wasn't the same as usual, consistency just a bit... weird. Took it back to the shop to explain, but couldn't make the lady understand, she proceeded to get a dish from the kitchen, tip out the contents of the tray I'd taken back and poke at it in full view of other customers, saying nothing was wrong. I asked for an alternative which would've been less than the original meal, was told no, so I asked for a refund instead, also no. So TipTop, as a long time, and now former customer, thanks for the memories, I suggest that like a Pancake roll, or a dumpling, you should get stuffed. Stay away if you're a fan of "the customer is always right"

Ordered pork curry, sauce was runny with very little taste, contained 6 pieces of onion. Very disappointed..... you live and learn

Got a little worried when I knew it was changing hands as I've always enjoyed the food from tiptop but it's gone form a 5 to a 5star beautiful food always delivered hot from a lovely delivery guy new menu looks good too so guys if you haven't given them a try do!

Generally don't have a problem everything is always there but tonight I received a duck fried rice covered in bbq sauce and I've never had one like that before and when I ring I'm told its how its done when I know it isn't

Ordered tonight was told they had changed ownership so thought I’d try them out absolutely beautiful came piping hot and generous portions. Lady who took my order was lovely and delivery driver too 5* from us

Collected a Chinese tonight ,, both the ribs and the chicken chow mein burnt ...couldn't eat it.... chips were ok but that's about it ...very disappointed 😞

Don't usually do a bad review,but think people should be aware of this place,ordered from here a few times and its average at best,last time I ordered from here,it took like 10 mins to arrive,was awful and felt sick for the rest of the day.Wont use until there is a change of management. Also noticed some of there good reviews are from Asian people,coincidence or do they work there or are family/friends ?

Do not eat from this restraunt 3 of us vomited after eating off these you order on phone 10 mins later it’s at your door yes you want quick delivery but come on how do they cook the food properly so quick and why have we been ill will not order from here no more

Do not eat from this restaurant. Me and my mom had a meal from here 2 weeks ago, the next day we had bad food poisoning which lasted for around 5 days. We phoned them up and they could not offer and apology or even a refund which would not compensate for what me and my mom went through. Just a warning to others to not eat from here.

Don't get your phone order correct, even through they read it back and you confirm it's correct. Then call you a liar over the phone when you say they've sent you incorrect meal. Then ban you from ordering again, for their mistakes.

Disgusting customer service. Claimed to have served duck with plum sauce which was clearly duck with pineapple and when call to explainthey claimed that plum sauce comes with pineapple. This did not remotely resemble or taste like a plum Sauce. Requested something to be done as not what was ordered and was told that they wouldn’t do anything because the order was correct, refused to swap it for anything else. Will never use this place again. Shocking. False advertising on menu in my opinion if plum sauce is actually pineapple 😤😡

Worst customer service ever received. Staff are so dam rude. Sent wrong order then refused to re deliver correct order unless we paid Extra !!! Unbelievable. Demanded a refund but they said no. I said refund or I can come in shop to deal with it Idiots refunded and never gave explanation or apology. Disgusting customer service when I called to inform of error. Idiot on phone said. What do you want me to do about IT. Shocking.
