Quirky little cafe tucked away near the Cathedral green. Had a lovely goats cheese and onion toastie, the sourdough was excellent! Also a decent sized tea pot which is always a bonus. Staff were very friendly and had a little chat when we left about where to go out and about in Exeter.

Nice quirky little tea room (well, they would probably prefer coffee house!) in Exeter, just minutes away from the Cathedral. We stopped for lunch on a dreick day and enjoyed lovely hot chocolate, great sourdough toasted sandwiches and decent cake. We'd be happy to make a repeat visit!

Very average coffee at a very high price! Poor snack choices and nothing for vegans! Worst of all, they don’t take cash, as if they were trying to usher in the New World Order or keep out the poorest in society. I won’t be coming back.

Two hot drinks, a toastie and a roll - £21! When the food arrived the bread was hard and looked burnt. We arrived 15 mins before they stopped food and you could tell the young staff member couldn't be bothered and asked her colleague if she should serve us. Both young girls seemed self satisfied and like they'd rather be anywhere else but there. We won't be returning which is a shame as the inside is lovely and has great potential.

I got what I asked for: coffee, strong black, luscious (officially an americano). The fruit and nut bar I had with it was great as well.

Delicious coffee and great cakes (including GF options). We visited both days when we were in Exeter last week - and hope to return the next time we visit. [Seating was limited on our second visit - I hope all those on laptops buy plenty of your coffee while they're there - many had empty cups despite your polite notice....]

On entering this charming little side street cafe we were welcomed by a very grumpy young lady who seemed to grunt on my friends asking how to order. We made our way to the table upstairs , the cafe is warming and decorated with charm. We only had coffee which was beautifully presented and the girl who brought us the coffees very polite - unlike the girl downstairs ! Customer service is very important these days, we felt she lacked any interest in her role ..

One of the biggest Wetherspoons in the UK. This one near the main railway station. Usual JDW fare plus an extensive range of real ales (discovered afterwards the local CAMRA group pub of the year 2025). Converted luxury house / hotel with nice interor and huge beer garden. We had fish and chips, which were very good, as were the drinks. The only slight drawback was it filled with students from the neighbouting university later on and the resulting noise made conversation difficult.
