Excellent full English breakfast. Lovely surroundings at an excellent price. I am staying 5 minutes away and the hotel breakfast is almost double in price. No brainer!

My partner and I visited here one weekday morning. We both had a cooked breakfast. The produce was of a very good quality. The only setback I can see is that the position of the cafe is not the best for parking. As a local, I know the side streets are okay to park but people travelling through Darwen would probably drive straight past because of the lack of parking. It's a real shame, but try and make an effort and I'm sure you'll enjoy it!!

Been here several times with friends and for work runs and there is a reason we all keep coming back! The food is top quality, always well cooked and the produce is sourced locally - you can genuinely taste the difference. Because the food is fresh you can pick and choose within reason to get just what you fancy - I had an omlette on one occasion which was bang on. If you're hungry try the Full English, you will not be disapointed and it is accompanied with the best beans in town!

Visited today for lunch with my daughter and chose the daily special gammon and chips. My daughter experts see it was the BEST gammon and eggs she had ever eaten. The service was wonderful , every attention to detail and such a friendly place to sit and pass the time of day ....excellent food and service was exemplary x will certainly visit again and at £10 for two gammon,, eggs, salad and home made chips, tea coffee and cake....no one can argue about the price!

I personally love a good full English and that's exactly what I got at this friendly and spotlessly clean establishment. Even if it be only tea/coffee and toast the staff take the same amount of care for the customer and that's excellent business practice. They're great.

The Food and Staff are lovely and if I'm honest it's not the cheapest of places but you get what you pay for and this shows in the quality of the food.

Tried it this week and have to say that although its not the cheapest eatery for breakfast in Darwen you cannot complain about the quality - food is all top notch especially the meat products (Bury's best!) We will be back!

Called in for breakfast, ordered the full breakfast with a few tweaks, my partner ordered the breakfast as it comes. It was fantastic. Generous portions, good quality bacon, loved it. The staff are really friendly, attentive and professional. A lovely welcoming atmosphere, definitely worth a try. We will be back.

You only get what you pay for..... and with this place that's completely true. All cooked fresh, try the breakfast, it's great and certainly good value for money and the fresh orange juice is free with it. A warm friendly welcome from the staff, nothing is to much trouble. The place is very clean, and quirky nice naks everywhere. It has a nice relaxing atmosphere, this we felt is down to the welcoming of the girls who run it. We will be back.....

A small cafe just opened on Blackburn Road, Darwen, is like a Tardis when it comes to food! Fabulous choice, reasonable prices and a thoroughly modern clean interior. Open first thing in the morning for a fabulous breakfast. Well worth a visit and you'll come back for more. It's also on the bus route and outside catering is also offered, I believe. A unique and different place to rest for awhile.

Great breakfast, homemade beans, Bury black pudding. Good value. Only thing was they ran our of mushrooms but definitely not a reason not to return. Fabulous!

Awful food tastes like cardboard, also the landlord needs to go on a customer service course. Arrogant and does not have a clue about running a pub. Save some money and go to McDonald’s next door even that is 100% better, don’t just take my word for it look at the other reviews
