It is my friends birthday today and I wanted to take her to 'High Tea'. It took me a long time to find a place that fit my criteria. It had to be today, her birthday, an old fashioned building, a place that served traditional style i.e.: tables plus settings, scones, tea sandwiches, small desserts all on a tiered serving tray and had to be open on Wednesday. Tilly Mints has it all. We traveled 35 miles from Philadelphia and it was worth every single traffic jam we encountered. The table had a sign on it acknowledging my friends birthday. Her cloth napkin was a birthday napkin.. The room, kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. The owner, Trish, gives impeccable individual service. The tea sandwiches, scones, desserts and teas were unique and the best tasting EVER. Y'all have no idea how picky (not quite the right word but....) I can be. On a scale from 1 -10, Tilly Mints is a 20. Really. I wish everyone in my life who would appreciate this experience could have been there today. What a special day Trish gives her customers. Thank you so much.

Visited for a friend's birthday tea and was so pleasantly surprised! So many teas to choose from. The food was excellent, and the staff were so kind and thoughtful. They made an entire special gluten free menu for one of the people in our group (given advanced notice). Such a fun afternoon, and we will definitely be back.

A very warm, inviting atmosphere. I felt enveloped in elegance, from the table's lace to the painted teacups. The sandwiches, scones, and cakes were made exquisitely and I enjoyed the history represented in the painted teapots. Definitely a win. I highly recommend a visit here; my 15-year gap from my first visit was much too big.

Love this tea room. The food is always tasty. The servers and the owner always extremely pleasant. The atmosphere is cute and casual. They have an extensive tea menu. The meal I ordered came with scones, tea sandwiches and desserts. There was so much food I couldn't eat it all.

Six stars! The elven magic that occurs in this tea house is next level. This is the best tea service we have been to. The love and magic shown in service by Trish and Leanne was delightful. I was in awe by the use of the ingredients. The basil used was so cute. The lemon tyme was inspired. The care that went into ensuring the dietary needs were met was thoughtful and caring. The cups and saucers match! I know the reach of my reviews, and I take that seriously. You need to go to this place.

This place is the place to be ! The owner is absolutely so nice and the server was amazing! I even told the kitchen staff how fantastic it was! The creme brulee tea delicious! The food was so goood and everything was top notch. Very attentive and I will be back ! I got my own tea mix and match set and the base is from France which I love so happy I found such a treasure in a wonderful gift shop it’s a beautiful gem souderton has! I will tell everyone to go here ! Thank you for great service! I am very pleased !

Tilly mints is always great! Must make reservations before going. Accommodating for dietary allergies/restrictions. Food and tea always tastes devious. And service is top-notch. They always get a 100/10 from me.

Same old same old tea and menu. Consistently rude and ignorant service by both owner and staff. No concern whatsoever for patron special needs. Came in with a boot and a leg brace and was told I couldn’t put my leg straight because it was inconvenient for them to work around. When asked for a larger table where I wouldn’t be inconvenient, I was refused for same reason— inconvenient for them. Told they already had set me up where I was. I’ll not go back. Plenty of better tea rooms available. Don’t waste your time at this one.

An absolutely beautiful tea room! My bridal shower was here yesterday and everyone made the day so special. Their attention to detail is remarkable! The space came already decorated with wedding theme decor items. The teapot, plate, and teacup/saucer given to me was bride and groom themed. The food items were delicious and they were accommodating to dietary needs. We had someone with a citrus allergy (a very tricky allergy) and they went through every single ingredient in their recipes to ensure that the allergen was avoided for that person. The service was friendly and warm and we will definitely be returning again soon!

A few years ago our bookclub had our annual Christmas tea at Tilly Mints and were totally enthralled by the experience. I recently took all my daughters for their first English tea. It was FANTASTIC! Food was amazing. The best broccoli cheddar soup ever. The creativity, freshness and total experience brings us back. The owner and staff are kind and accommodating and made our afternoon perfect.

My kids and I loved it. We've been to a few tea rooms in the area, but this was our favorite by far. The service was great, the tea was lovely, and the dining area was spacious.

I took my mother and daughter to celebrate their birthdays this past week and we had a perfect experience. The food and service were wonderful. We each got the full tea. We all started with soup, then came the lovely display of tea sandwiches, scones, and petite desserts. Everything was lovely. We will definitely return in the future and recommend to others.

Beyond excellent! Perfect portions, kind service and the food was some of the best I’ve had. Cannot wait to go again!

This Tea room can take a person to England just by providing tea, food delights and atmosphere. The lil tea-delights are FANTASTIC to the eye as well as the pallet...yum. Reservations are a must, I think, because there is so much demand. This is in Souderton, Pa, a wonderfully unique and up-to-date town. I lived there for at least 20+ years and miss it. Enjoy the Tilly Mint's Tea Room - can't go just once - it's a returning visit place.

Absolutely the best! Lovely people,wonderful foods and teas,atmosphere charming and sandwiches scones and desserts were beautifully decorated. Dont know what more you could ask for! Reservations are a must and take some new flavors of tea home!

Had a lovely luncheon today with the ladies. Vegetable soup was by far one of the very best I’ve ever had. Would love to know the secret ingredient that gave it a little kick! Each and every tea sandwich & miniature dessert was made with such care. Will definitely go back again.

What a cute little place. We went with a group of ladies for our monthly gathering. Unfortunately the customer service is severely lacking. The owners daughter was snarky and short from the minute we arrived. the other woman while I assume was the actual owner was pleasant enough but certainly not what I would expect an owner to be. The salad and soup were delicious and the sandwiches and scones and desserts on the tea tray were very good. Sadly however not good enough for me to return again. The experience is what I would go for and friendly and inviting was not what we received.

From the moment we walked in, it was pure delight. The owner was very friendly kind and very knowledgeable. There are so many different varieties of tea, I wanted to try them all. The selection of delicious tea sandwiches, scones & sweets was out of this world! We celebrated my friend’s special birthday & she was delighted!! The crème brûlée was Lady Diana’s chef’s recipe!!! Your reservation gives you 2 hours to take it all in! This is a total hidden gem in Souderton, & we will definitely be back!

Tilly Mints is amazing. We come almost each year to celebrate a birthday. I love how the small, intimate atmosphere feels so special. The food is scrumptious! Their tea, the Last Mango of Paris, is my favorite :)

Drove an hour to have authentic English High Tea. The place is quaint and very British. We were served tea first and must say Teas were all delightful, after many years I had Margaret’s Hope as no one offered it at other tea rooms we visited Then came the three tier food offerings. The English Scones Very disappointing Scones are a staple at teas. Yet it appeared store bought. The sandwiches: flavorless cream cheese with a cucumber slice. One with one strawberry/ cream cheeses The chicken /ham were from a can nothing fresh The desserts were store bought We ate as we paid over $100 for the tea for all of us. We suggest that if you say English Tea then serve it with fresh elegant food like petit fours. Cheese/cucumber sandwiches. ham/marmalade sandwich. freshly cooked chicken with grapes/Mayo. Egg salad sandwich Sorry for this review. But it is honest and sincere to get some change there as place has potential

A delightful tea room in a quiet part of a small town. Parking lot just across the street. Tilly takes such care with every tea and tasty bite she puts out, you really can feel the love here. Just the right amount of foods for each person. Great tea selection, lovely staff.

We had reservations for Mother’s Day but my daughter was sick so we called to cancel. We were so sad to miss this Mother’s Day Tradition but Tilly had everything packed up for us and it was wrapped up so beautifully. The presentation was so pretty and the food was delicious! We were so grateful to still have our Mother’s Day tea!

Had my daughter's bridal here. Plenty to eat and everyone loved the venue and the food and the servers! I plan to go back another day just for tea!

It was okay. The atmosphere could have been better. I was there for a shower. It just doesn't have that elegance that a Tearoom normally does. Staff was excellent and food was good.

My friends and I had so much fun at Tilly's! I had scheduled a group of us weeks in advance and coordinated with Trish. We arrived a bit early and our table was ready for us, which was awesome. We were given our menus and the specials. Everything we had was delicious, especially the desserts and scones!

Wonderful and delicious menu. The "full English Tea" is an incredible array of goodies accompanied with either the soup or savory (quiche) of the day. Attentive and informative waitstaff and a wide selection of teas.

Came here with my nieces, daughter and sister in law and we had the best time. The girls loved their tea and pink lemonade and all the treats! The food was great and so was the tea! Can't wait to go again!

It was wonderful to be able to return to Tilly Mint's tea room. Our Wavertree tea was as good as always, great quiche and salad to start. Next, came the tea tiers. Five tasty tea sandwiches, then scones with cream, lemon curd and jam. Last, the top tier of desserts. The pumpkin mousse and Lady Di's creme brulee' are my favorites. Can't wait to return.

This is an intimate tearoom, with British flair and décor, the owner and staff are dedicated to Making the customer experience a great and memorable 1. It starts out with a warm welcome then you are seated you select your tea you have many choices and they make wonderful recommendations. The food is wonderful freshly Prepared and imaginative the menu is fresh, the desserts are wonderful, and she sells rounds of scones In the gift shop. Herskohn's are delicious And they come in I'm in different flavors, comma they freeze well so I would recommend getting a couple for your freezer. I have been there many times and have never had a bad experience it is a delightful tearoom it should not be missed.

Had a joint birthday here and everything was lovely! Decor was cute, the full afternoon tea was delightful and they had sweet place settings for the b-day ladies! It was so nice to do this w/ some girlfriends coming out of the pandemic.

This tea room has been in Souderton for quite a few years. The staff are friendly and efficient. Very unique experience. One thing I’d suggest is more “decorations” to give you more of the British tea house feel. The atmosphere is a bit outdated but the scones were fresh and warm and cooked to perfection. Tea was palatable too. I was impressed by the food. I am though, a bit naive to how the whole ordering process works at a tea house and I didn’t feel they explained very well what we needed to order with what and what each thing included. I feel I would have enjoyed it better if I knew what I was doing. Now I know. They were however very accommodating when my daughter didn’t like her soup, they replaced it with something more “child friendly”. They just didn’t seem to thrilled about replacing it is all, I couldn’t make out if the server was upset with us or just disappointed that her dish was not liked. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

Experienced Tilly Mint's today. Found my ＂go to＂ tea room. Local gem! Such a divine experience! Trish and her staff take good care of each guest. Excellent menu offerings of soup, savory, assorted tea sandwiches, fresh fruit, salad, scones, assorted dainty desserts, and variety of teas. Reservations are best. You are slotted to a 2 hour experience and you'll want to enjoy each delightful minute. If you have dietary restrictions be sure to let them know in advance when making your reservation.

Delicious food every time we go. The staff is beyond friendly and it's just overall always a pleasant experience. We live about 40 mins away but come here quite often because it's so good!!! 👍

Took my little girl here for a mommy daughter date. What a wonderful experience! The food was tasty and the staff was friendly and helpful. The tea selection is pretty extensive, and a tad overwhelming if you dont know anything about it (like me). Our waitress took a few minutes to explain the list, and narrowed it down to a few suggestions. If you're looking for a special place for a special occasion, or like a Saturday afternoon, this is a great place to go! Make sure to call ahead and make a reservation! I was so excited to try this tea room because the room I love closed! However, I was beyond disappointed. The food wasn’t good at all and the women who took my order wouldn’t make any adjustments to my food. The quality of the food was poor. The place is very cute but it’s not worth it!
