Tiger Bowl in Stafford

Couldn't order online, so unable to use discount code... had to pay full price for awful food! £9.70 for a large steak kebab with 5 pieces of steak and hardly any salad, and the steak that was there was so chewy it was binned. Also sent wrong side. Would not recommend and will not reorder.

Have had many takeaways from here but seems to have changed. Had sweet and sour chicken balls The chicken balls were soggy and doughy and the chicken chewy like they had been reheated. Not fresh and crispy .. We cannot recommend them and will not be returning again.

Decided to return to using tigerbowl to see if anything had changed since our last poor takeaway and it has changed, it's got worse. I collected the food and it was stone cold, very strange taste to the chow mein almost like it was very old. Won't be using ever again now, some of the worst food I've had

Tiger bowl was my go to Chinese but it’s been taken over and you can tell! The rice was congealed, the Ribs were basically bones and sauce, the prawn crackers were stale and the worst bit was the chicken balls had no chicken in them but prawns! Never again!

Ordered £55 worth of take away which arrived cold (0.8 miles from shop) items wrong, items missing and items burnt. Shop advised missing items were on the way. Weirdly 2 days later still ot delivered. What food that was reheatable was bland. Honestly the worst chinese and biggest waste of money

Capped our weekend away off by coming back and having a takeaway from tiger bowl and it was beautiful. Chow mean, chicken curry, duck pancakes and chicken balls. Fast delivery, perfect food. Highly reccomend

Brilliant range of vegan menu, would recommend the vegan sweet and sour chicken balls! All tastes fabulous. Me and the fella love Tiger Bowl and have it on a regular basis. Customer service is excellent, and always quick delivery.

Had many excellent meals from here over the years and the last one was no different. In fact, for my vegetarian wife it was even better due to the new, extended vegan menu. At last we could share a very convincing mock duck and pancakes, something she's missed since becoming vegetarian over 20 years ago. The food has always been fresh and tasty, and the service spot on. Today, because we had ordered vegan, we were given a complementary vegan cup cake, and a slice of vegan lemon drizzle cake from D's Delicious Deserts. Both were very tasty, and surprisingly moist.

I ordered from here tonight after seeing a post on Instagram advertising the new vegan menu. After speaking with staff at the restaurant, I understand that this is a completely new menu with careful consideration of the ingredients, and I was so excited to see something on a Chinese menu more interesting than 'mixed vegetables'! I can confirm that the meal we received was INCREDIBLE. The tastiest Chinese food I've been able to have seen becoming vegetarian/vegan. Even the more common aspects of the meal, like salt and pepper chips, were so crispy, tasty and fresh. It's so so meaningful to have restaurants make the effort to make food delicious and nostalgic for those who prefer not to eat meat. Really, really thankful for this varied menu. Thanks Tiger Bowl!

I ordered a chicken curry and I wish I knew what was in it but it definitely wasn’t chicken- way to soft and no texture to it- Rest assured I won’t be back!!!

I used to have lovely food from here and would not entertain the idea of going elsewhere. I have now had 3 terrible meals in a row so will not be returning. Singapore Chow Mein with approximately 8 slithers of "meat" - most of which was fatty gristle. Under cooked chicken for my Chicken in Chilli and wine sauce, and don't even start on the beef!

I ordered from here and with 15 minutes the food was delivered, we opened the “salt and pepper chips” they were wrong. They had sent me garlic chips even though I advised them I was allergic to garlic, I contacted the Chinese and they said this is how they come. However I ordered them over a month back and they certainly didn’t look like this... chicken balls?? Definitely was NOT chicken more like dog... it was pink, slimey and cold!!! The curry sauce was more lumpy than cake mix and that was also cold... advised tigerbowl of this and they weren’t bothered in the slightest!!! NEVER EVER WILL I COME HERE AGAIN!!

Our regular chinese take out place since a veggie friend raved about their veggie selection. That was about 12 years ago and still using them. Quality can vary slightly which is why rating very good rather than excellent; sometimes things can be a little over cooked and the yuk sung can be a bit hit and miss sometimes. However we love the food and prefer tiger bowl to the rest of the local takeaways. Larger variety and always tasty.

ordered from here twice and the first time they forgot the rice. Everyone makes mistakes, no biggie I wasn't bothered as they said they would add it to the next order. Second time ordering, I called them after placing an online order to check the order was correct and to ask where it was, as it had been ordered 2 hours earlier and was half an hour late already. I was told it was complete and on its way. No rice again and was almost an hour late. When I called they told me that they could bring the rice in 1.5 hours. Unacceptable and I refused as my family and I were about to have the meal, which was all stale and microwaved/reheated. I asked to be refunded for the items missing to which they refused. Instead I will get money off an order that I won't be placing. I have put a complaint in through BigFoodie and won't order again from here. Delivery times and customer service are abysmal!!

45 min del, waited over an hour to be told if we collect we can have £2.80, nearly 2 hours wait! Bad!

Just had a takeawy, chow mein was incredible. Hot and sour soup was ok, ive had better. Im left very satisfied though

Have ordered from here on numerous occasions but recently the standard has gone downhill. Ordered sweet and sour pork balls and fried rice and fillet steak with ginger and spring onion. Was told to expect a wait of just over an hour for delivery as it was a Friday evening. It finally arrived after an hour and three quarters and was cold. The pork balls were just huge chunks of pork in batter and really tough. It had to go in the microwave which all in all was a complete waste of £29. Will not be using again.

I've been using the Tiger Bowl for a number of years now and have had good meals and great service. The food has been to a high standard and delivery has been quick and within the time frame given when ordered. When orders for collection the meal has been ready with the exception of once. The prices are on a par with other takeaways in the area. In all the time I've been going I've only had one meal which wasn't quite too standard (maybe they were having a bad day or had a substitute chef). The menu is varied and they serve a a selection of Japanese curries which are great and make a change from the normal range of dishes.My only gripe, and it isn't just Tiger Bowl that do this, is the move to cash only payment. I get credit card companies charge for credit card payments, but in this day less people are carrying cash and using electronic payment. It means I have to find a cash machine which when ordering from home means going out specially to go to the cash machine. Ultimately I find I just order elsewhere that I can use card payment still.Shame as the food is good!

Had a good meal Friday busy day for a takeaway but excellent food delivered on time but was really tasty and enjoyable.

My wife and I have been ordering from Tiger Bowl for years, and loved the food. Truly!! Fresh, tasty, made with really good ingredients, and cooked well. I don't know if it is now under new management, or they have simply changed their 'cook,' but tonight's offering' was a disgrace!!! Beef like tough rubber, so much salt and chicken that wasn't even cooked. They are going to make people very ill if they continue like this. Come on, Tiger Bowl, you are better than this. You certainly WERE. Won't be ordering again until they've cleaned up their act

My family and I love this take away. We stopped using it for a few years out of laziness, ordering from 'Just Eat' which does not feature this take away. A friend bought Chinese from here and we have returned using this take away again since for over a year now. I have always loved the presentation of food delivered from here, it tastes wonderful and easy to order online via big foodie. I've just read a lot of bad reviews for here, but personally I cannot fault it. Delivery is always or near enough to the time they state. It's hot and yummy. We're regulars and won't be going anywhere else again anytime soon.

Siempre la persona tomando su pedido leer. Tienen una memoria selectiva después de su pedido incompleto ha sido entregado. Esperamos una hora para la entrega, después de que nos dijeron 45 minutos (big llame para llevar los miércoles por la noche, al final del mes), mi comida llegó sin arroz, a pesar de la orden de actas preguntar si quería algo con mi plato, que era el único que venía sin pedir arroz o fideos. "Huevo frito arroz, por favor". Pero dicho arroz nunca llegó. Después de un largo 'conversación', durante el cual la orden de actas negó toda conocimiento de mi petición, accedió a enviar, sería conmigo en más de media hora! En ese tiempo mi pato asado cantonés estaba frío. Si quería comida de microondas habría elegido la opción mucho más barato del supermercado. Este no es el primer error que han cometido. En una boda, mi esposa recibió salsa, carne y verduras, pero no de fideos. . En un plato de tallarines. anuncian! ! ! La comida es realmente bonito, pero podría ser molestado para darles otra prueba. . . No me importa su menú atrás en el cajón, con muchos otros Menús para llevar stafford, y a pensar. . . . . . .

Best Chinese curry sauce I've had! Egg fried rice is always well cooked. Service is quite poor at times! Other than that it is a great place to order from.

Nos coloca una orden. Nos dijeron que sería una hora hasta su entrega. Esperamos y esperamos. Llamó una vez más 1 y 3 / 4 horas más tarde. No no lo que pasaba me dijeron que el pedido había sido mezcladas y estaba en su camino. La comida estaba fría. Sin embargo, dijeron que sería caliente como sólo ha preparado obviamente otra exageración. Nos ofrecieron un 10% de descuento próximo pedido no lo suficiente. No estaremos tratando de nuevo no vale la pena la espera.

Marcar el número y. fue recibido por un acento suene femenino "hola", en vez de colgar, pensando que marcar el número equivocado, me respondió "hola - es que tiger bowl? "Sí" era por respuesta. . . Yo todavía no puedo creer, pero decidimos realizar mi pedido de todos modos. . . Pretendía pagar con tarjeta pero ellos darent dar mi número de tarjeta en caso de verdad que llame al número incorrecto y la hembra jaquearon mi cuenta bancaria! ! !

Una vez más, me estaba convencida de tener un tigre de la Bowl. El enfoque tradicional menú numerados, y personal incluso leer los artículos antes de salir. Sin embargo, la diversión comienza cuando llegue a casa y descubra que le faltan varios artículos y otros están equivocados. Los que están no son exactamente o brillante. Tienes dos opciones. Tampoco grita números aleatorios al entrar - tendrá la misma posibilidad de conseguir lo que queríamos, o alternativamente introduce la cocina directamente a supervisar la cretins. Por otro lado, siempre podría evitar el lugar en general.

He estado llevar desde aquí durante unos años y en los últimos meses ha sido decaída. Los nuevos propietarios? Nuevo chef? No lo sé. Pero sé que es horrible. Fuimos hace poco más de una semana para recoger un pedido y pedidos de sábado y mientras esperamos más tarde. Tenían claramente olvidado. Cuando llegué a casa estaba frío. Encima de eso sabía asqueroso!! Todo esto además de una chica en la recepción que llamó "todo el mundo, colega"!! Bazofia y comestible. No compres desde aquí

Bowl tiger solía ser nuestro favorito para llevar orden y siempre jamás cuando de vuelta en las midlands, habiendo tenido el Hu Yu Po en una noche con un amigo que no estaba mal, pero la solución no fue tan bueno como solía ser. Tenía Tiger Bowl de nuevo la noche siguiente con mi familia y pareja de nuevo, la comida era buena y me encantó el pollo dam dam, pero mi compañero dice que no es tan bueno como solía ser.

Ordered over the phone with a girl that didn't seem to have a clue, And was right she didn't !! order was wrong even though she read it back to us . Order arrived and was wrong items missing paid for this order with delivery charge then realised items missing !! So called up and explained order was wrong and missing a meal all confused very frustrating so we were sent our meal then told we had to pay for delivery again !! SERIOUSLY ...... And it's your mistake and we have to pay extra delivery disgusting service. After calling up again and asking why we were charged extra delivery charge the man did not know why and was told the girl was new yesterday well then she needs retraining or take her off the phone orders . He then said we could get free delivery next time and discount ..... To late will not be ordering here again all family had to eat at different times and in all honesty the food was not the best and seemed to have gone down .

This has to be the best Chinese Take away in Stafford. Great choice of menu with variety delivered to your door. (if you live in Stafford)

this place used to be great! Couldn't fault any of the food. Not sure if they have a new chef but food not as good anymore. The quality has gone down hill which is such a shame.

This is my favourite Chinese takeaway, this used to be my local Chinese and I tried a different Chinese close to my new town but it wasn't very good so I will be making special trips to tiger bowl when I have takeaway nights as I miss the food from there. Can't recommend highly enough!

We have just had to bin our food! The chicken was off!! The chips were burnt also. Really disappointing! This place has gone down hill massively. We won't be coming back.

We frequently order from Tiger Bowl & have noticed they are getting busier & busier each week which is brilliant for a striving business as long as you can keep up with customers demands. We have taken to collecting our Take away as the delivery times can be extreme but apart from that nothing to complain about prices are very reasonable & food is delicious which is the main thing

Tiger Bowl is one my favourite chinese takeaways and also my partners. We both used to live in Stafford but now live in London, and I have never had a better chinese takeaway. My partner usually has deep fried shredded chilli beef which is always crispy, and I always have hu yu po which is simply delicious, the deep battered prawn balls in sweet n sour sauce are always delicious and crispy.
