Tiffanys Food and Coffee in Torridge

What a lovely coffee shop. Friendly staff, excellent taste in music (Taylor Swift). Clean and bright cafe. Hope small businesses like this come through the energy crisis, would be a shame to lose this type of establishment.

The premises is located in a commercial road off the main thoroughfare and has easy access for those with a mobility problem. A hand sanitiser is located just within the doorway that leads into a medium sized dining area, in which there is a service counter. On entering were advised that ordering could be either at the counter or when we had sat down. The decor is simple but plain and the general area, tables and floor were very clean. We ordered a bacon, lettuce and tomato brown bread sandwich and a baguette filled with sausages and pickle and both were served with a portion of chips and very small amount of salad with a mug of tea and a soft drink. The menu is limited but what they did have was well presented and tasty. Our order was brought to us and the three members of staff engaged us in light humour when our food was brought. The sanitary accommodation was extremely clean and fully stocked and was accessed at the rear of the dining area.

Visted for coffee on 6 Jan 22. Neither of the 2 staff wore masks or visors or exemption lanyards, although walking freely around the shop. Handsantiser machine empty! We ordered 2 coffees only yet the barista still managed to get the order wrong - this was swiftly corrected. We wondered why COVID directives were being ignored!

This has just opened and we thought we would try it. We weren't dissappointed, a light warm cafe with a lovely atmosphere. Lovely food and excellent staff.

We were lucky enough to come a cross this fabulous coffee shop this morning, we were welcomed in with our dogs! We chose a cream tea, they were the best scones we had ever had, absolutely delicious, so much so we have brought the cheese ones home!! Staff are super friendly and efficient. We'll worth a visit 😊

Great little find. Had a gorgeous lunch. Very clean, the staff were friendly. Nice selection of food and drinks. Recommended.

Stopped off here for a coffee and cake on the spur of the moment during a wander round Bideford. The cafe was nice and airy and tables spaced well so you didn’t feel cramped. The staff were very welcoming and service was very quick and attentive. Really good cup of coffee and the huge slice of homemade Victoria sponge was delicious! What made it such a nice visit for me was that both ladies were happy to chat while we ate, making it such a relaxed atmosphere to spend half an hour in. We will return for lunch next time we are over that way.

Staff were very grumpy stood behind the counter and the lady who took our order was really confused and not very welcoming but she may of been new. I bought an orange juice for £1.70 and got given a carton as if I were a toddler. My jacket was in a pool of butter and no coleslaw. Not very good value for money

My husband and I had a lovely hour here today . Great place and will definitely be back . They do lovely take away too !

Lovely clean cafe, felt safely spaced out & had a nice window table. Food & coffee was excellent & the staff were friendly and efficient. Will definitely go back for lunch again. A great addition to Bideford so hope it survives in these difficult times.

I popped in earlier today for some lunch and a coffee and I really enjoyed it. The staff seemed friendly and I enjoyed the atmosphere and look of the place. The staff were actively sanitising the tables, but I just want to note they are spaced a little close together. The food was great, I had a bacon and cheese toastie, the bacon was thick cut and the cheese was melty plus it was served with a little dressed salad. The cappuccino was really good, the right foam to milk to coffee ratio. Everything came relatively quickly, and all in all was a very nice lunch, plus it's always nice to shop small and local.

Myself and my husband popped into tiffanys for a quick bite to eat and a hot cuppa today whilst in the area. I am quite a coffee snob and i must say tiffanys was amazing! The owner danny was a nice chap very welcoming along with the two young guys who even asked us if we would like to choose a certain song on the cafe playlist which we did and of course it was a christmas song! I found that so lovely especially in a cafe. All in all a lovely little hidden gem and we will be sure to go back when in the area again. Thankyou!

Thought I'd support a local cafe today that I hadn't been in yet...it was my first visit to tiffany's and I dare say it will be my last...no visable sanitizer to use upon entry...no clear indication of whether or not it was counter or table service to place our order...kept looking around couldn't see anything to indicate which it should be...the three youngsters behind the counter just stood there not saying anything so I went to the counter ,waited a while wasn't really asked ...just said what I wanted ..from then it improved slightly .Tbf what we had was very nice and the coffee is good .but service certainly had no smiles ..infact all the staff looked miserable.To add to this whilst we were sat another customer just walked straight in...no mask etc and nothing was said ..he didnt have a exemption lanyard on either. Hope they clean the tables down as he even put his dirty bag on the table.

Went for lunch first impression was good overall. Then we sat down and noticed that tables where to close together so hard to social distance maybe a few screens between tables would be good or remove one or two of them.food was nicely presented and tasty. I did have to go up to the counter and speak to the owner as noticed he had taken money from previous customer and hadn’t washed his hands after touching money (COVID ). He was preparing food at the time he did wash his hands immediately then a young lad came in went straight behind the counter to start serving (no hand washing or sanitising) he then proceeded to go out and take orders and at the same time stroke a customers dog oh still no sanitising then returned back behind the food counter.

It was a rainy day, so we visited Bideford, went into Tiffany’s for a cream tea. The scones were enormous, plenty of jam and cream, although we did ask for more! Lovely staff and great service. Definitely recommend.

Lovely independent cafe, great atmosphere. Good value for money I was made to feel very welcome by the owner Danny and his staff who were very helpful, fabulous coffee too. Will be visiting again very soon!!

popped in first thing in the morning and had a lovely bacon sarnie and a cuppa good value for money lovely freindly staff and the scones are big fir the cream teas good value for yr money 😊

Lovely little coffee shop, fantastic food with great staff. They have a small menu, but everything is really well done. We will return again and again.

Stopped for a quick coffee and bite to eat. Very welcoming food fresh and tasty. Coffee was good quality. Would recommend and will stop by again if passing through Bideford.

Proper Coffee, a lovely blend, not bitter and that was drunk black, friendly staff, clean environment what’s not to like!

We only popped in for a cup of tea and were tempted to stay for more as the lunches looked great. Incredibly friendly staff who are really doing their best during Covid restrictions.
