Thyme Bar & Grill in Sheffield

Cenamos aquí un viernes por la noche el restaurante estaba bastante vacío nos sirvieron bastante rápido Tuve una tarta de pollo y jamón sabrosa con una cobertura de migas y patatas fritas que venían con guisantes que eran bastante duros. Mi compañero tenía las patatas fritas y hamburguesa de res que era solo promedio no tuvimos que esperar la cuenta solo fuimos al bar y pagamos

I visited the restaurant while staying at the Premier Inn with my elderly mother. The waiting staff, Jamie, Laura and Hannah couldn't have been nicer. The food was tasty and and not expensive. When my mother asked if she could have ice cream for dessert, even though ice cream on it's own wasn't on the menu, they served it and only charged £1, which I thought was very reasonable.

Tuve las costillas más jugosas como entrante seguido del Solomillo cocinado exactamente como lo pedí con aros de cebolla adicionales y sí, ¡acertó!

Preciosa experiencia Después de un largo y duro día de trabajo, disfrutamos de una comida reconfortante. Excelente servicio y ambiente.

Este fue un sorprendente restaurante en el Premier Inn. Recomiendo encarecidamente el Beef y Imperial Stout Pie. Mi colega vegetariano mencionó que el Thai Vegetable Curry fue uno de los mejores que ha tenido. El Sticky Toffee Pudding (con helado) también fue uno de los mejores que he tenido. El buffet de desayuno es realmente bueno y se puede comprar con la estancia de una noche.

I often eat at the Premier Inn restaurant, when my family are visiting and staying in the hotel. Last night we had a lovely meal which was improved tenfold by the really friendly and kind staff. The flatbread, filo tart, and chicken were all wonderful starters, and I then had a sirloin steak - which was cooked to perfection. The wait time between courses was perfect, and I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Really enjoyed our first visit to The Thyme Restaurant at Meadowhall Premier Inn - booked a table for Friday evening as we were meeting family in Sheffield. Good selection of starters and mains - no room for pubs - well looked after by "Auntie Ange" (no actual relation but same surname) Also signed up for Breakfast which was well presented and had everything you could wish.

Typical chain menu but found it to be good value and the food cooked well. Wasn't the bustling place I was expecting as on check in at the hotel I was advised to book early because it would be busy. As it turned out there were 14 people in the restaurant and 12 of us on single tables scattered about. One of the hazards of business trips I guess. Initially I did look to eat elsewhere but returned as this was the better option offered by Sheffield City Centre

I have now stayed over and sampled the delicious food at several Thyme restaurants and last night these guys led by Bela smashed it out of the ball park and are now my number 1. The mixed grill was perfect. The steak was exactly as I love, blue and what a great cow this came from as it was like cutting through butter. No chips but chef presented a fab side salad with a cheeky sprinkle of cheese showing that you can go slightly off menu served with a smile. Lovely what more can I say. Great job guys I will be back for more....

Staying at the Sheffield Premier Inn, had breakfast at Thyme each day for £8.99 for all you can eat. Clean & tidy restaurant with helpful & friendly staff. Had the evening meal upgrade one night for £15: Ribs & Fries, with an Eton Mess & Ice Cream with a drink for £15, to take up to my room. All very good value, and reasonable quality. Filling food!

Ate here while staying in the Premier Inn which the restaurant is located in. Ordered salmon, boiled potatoes and veg to be told there were no boiled potatoes. As an alternative I was offered fries or, wait for it.... Mashed potato Decided against frozen or packet mash and swapped for mini corns and food was nice. Friendly staff. Clean restaurant. Pub grub type menu and reasonable / cheap prices.

Ate here whilst staying at the hotel for a couple of nights. Very friendly staff, good service, good food and reasonably priced. The waiter was knowledgeable about the dishes. There was enough choice on the menu for everyone to find something they liked. Pizza was very good.

A smaller version of Thyme Restaurant from others I have experience with a bit more intimate layout. Same basic menu which provides a good quality food at reasonable price. Ideal if you have just completed a lengthy journey and don't fancy walking into town. I had the curry which was nice but nothing special. Certainly gives the impression of a catering pack offering but tasty enough/ Good range of items and with a attentive staff who were keen to ensure you had everything you needed, it certainly was an ideal location for someone on their own. If you were part of a group, I definitely would suggest a walk into Leeds to check out some of the other outlets.

Staying in the Premier Inn we took advantage of the meal deal. In the evening the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, good efficient staff and the food was better than expected. Breakfast was also good. It was extremely busy and the breakfast buffet is in a narrow area which was crowded most of the time, but the food was replenished quickly.
