Everyone in Walton should support this venue. They have a lovely cafe, friendly staff and great entertainment.

Very good atmosphere and welcoming

I went hear with my daughter to set up a wedding cake. A very nice venue for a small wedding say around 40 guests. Lovely garden for pictures.

A first visit for us to this excellent arts venue to see our friends' mixed media visual art and spoken word exhibition. The upstairs space was roomy, well lit and ventilated and the quiet riverside location was the perfect setting for the event. Two notable gastro pubs nearby and riverside walks and views and added bonus.

Saw a wonderful gig by folk band Megson. Such a great atmosphere. Cafe pretty good, staff friendly and helpful

Very nice and reasonably priced coffee. It's better than expected. Charming location. Went to see "Post Office Scandal - The Inside Story. " Simply shocking what British establishment have done to innocent people.

Lovely venue. I was there for Nick Wallis's Post Office scandal production (brilliant) and have to many events over the years. Great bar/cafe and other facilities including a gallery upstairs.

Elmbridge Borough Council does a great service to the local development of children, youths and the whole community. Various artistic programs which offer diverse forms of art. The international flare is visible for all to see. Their prices are reasonable and you can choose to have coffee inside or outside.

Lovely space to see art work exhibits. Particularly loved meeting Nadia Phillips and her current display of amazing and intriguing collection of Aboriginal art.

Terrific venue to watch a play. Ample leg room, and good elevation between the rows-so the viewing is unimpeded. Yet allows one to feel immersed in the action.

What a lovely place. Cafe very nice as are the staff, the whole place has an aura of calm about it.

The only time I have been served pre-filled scones which could be risky but I needed have worried - they cmae topped with strawberry jam and porper clotted cream. Has both attractive indoor and outdoor seating areas.

I absolutely love this place. Such lovely people, brilliant concept and so welcoming. We cycle there regularly from West London. Always a wonderful exh in the gallery. Delicious food. Also they put on an incredible coffee morning for my 70th birthday!!

The community cafe has recently been refurbished and looks great. The staff are lovely and coffee is good too!

We went "Beer & jazz"Sunday lunchtime. Really enjoyable. Went to the bar at the break. Might be a good idea to have a drinks menu,and a notice stating "payment by card only " Lovely venue by the river.

Going to miss the cafe, closed for a refurb in August. Quaint place, lovely food, great staff!

Excellent cafe with large sunny/partly tented outdoor terrace. Light lunches all home cooked. Wonderful cakes. Great value for money....pity isn't open at weekend ...only M-F unless performance on Very close to river, plenty of parking Upstairs is art gallery ..well worth a visit..exhibitions change frequently. All sorts of performances to please everyone. Great children's shows and regular comedy evenings. My only criticism is that tickets can be a bit expensive for a community playhouse...usually £15 upwards ! Monthly daytime film sceenings and frequent concerts, recitals and plays. Next to Sullivan's park with children's playground and direct access to riverbank. Well worth a visit,

Attended a super singing workshop there. Short walk to the river and nearby pub.

Great mixed media art exhibition

I attended a talk called Grandmother's cook book, which was fascinating. The venue is quaint and comfortable with a coffee shop /bar. Very pleasant evening.

Unusual venue, an old 18th century barn immaculately restored and refurbished for a performance space. Wide variety of music, film and theatre. We heard Wolf, Shostakovich and Beethoven string quartets.

This was my first trip here. Saw a young ventriloquist/comedian who was very good. Great intimate venue with lots going on. You can even drop in during the day for a cup of tea and a slice of cake.

Tucked away where you would be unlikely to stumble upon it if you didn't know it was there, it has an excellent cafe, a great exhibition space, and a small theatre (didn't see this last area). Lovely atmosphere. Dog friendly cafe.

Always enjoy our visits, whether to see the latest art exhibition, or just to enjoy the great food in the cafe. Fabulous Walton Folk Festival on 1st May: a whole afternoon of outstanding musicians and artists, headlined in the evening by Wildwood Kin. Amazing effort by the volunteer organisers, especially in the rain and the cold!

Lovely auditorium, great music (thanks Lukas Drinkwater!) and a very good cafe with relaxing courtyard seating.

Nice little cafe but clearer directions needed from wooden sign on the Thames foot path. Could do with more choice on the menu, we had the choice of toasties or soup. Staff friendly, cafe clean & toasties were nice.

Quite a chic coffee/tea shop, nothing fancy, but has all you need. Friendly staff and plenty of water & biscuits for dogs.

Really enjoyed my visit to the free Art exhibition featuring local artist, David Gamble. His paintings are vibrant and refreshing! Lovely pieces to captivate and inspire.

Hidden away on the banks of the Thames at Walton, this quaint old Theatre barn has some great live music events and the small cafe has good wholesome food, definitely support this venue!

Great little theatre/performance venue. Friendly and help staff make you feel welcome. The small cafe serves excellent coffee, can't comment on the food as I didn't have any. There is also a bar. Both the cafe and the bar were open for a pre performance drinks, they share share the same seating area.

Superb. I arrived to hear that M&S rump steak was on the menu for steak baguettes. I ordered one and it was the best and most tender that I have tasted and cheap too. Cheaper than anywhere else, great quality, lovely ladies working there and a great charity cause too. I recommend people must pop in and try for themselves even if just for a coffee

A beautiful local arts centre in a stunning Tudor style barn, with a lovely café with home made produce.

Nice place for a pot of tea, various kinds. Same with coffee. Cakes and snacks available too. Good for all age groups. Arts displays upstairs always a bonus, really enjoy them. Nearby walks along The Thames ,what's not to like?

Just watched a performance of Tess of the D'Urbervilles with Hotbuckle Productions, very entertaining and wonderfully performed.

Lovely place, gluten free friendly and wonderful staff

Currently this place is still closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. However the RiverHouse Barn community cafe place is open for takeaway and you can sit in the terrace. They have free car park for customers. We love this local small theatre 🎭 pre covid they show many family friendly shows and they do comedy club once a month. I really look forward to going back once it’s safe to do so.

Friendly, well priced, good food, caters for vegan and vegetarians alike along with the omnivores, often displays items as free rather than throwing away typically bread bagged up for the local ducks - great for the kids....... big jar of dog treats always full for walkers and their furry pals..... Just lovely!!

Went to see al Murray outside. It worked well very well organized

Stopped here just for a hot drink after a riverside walk. Had to sit outside in a gazebo but very pleasant. The cafe was going to open the following day so will be back when it's up and running. A small about of local produce available. Money went into a charity box.

Came here for an outdoor comedy gig. Super well organised and great idea to stay safe while still having some sort of social life!

Home baked cakes are superb...and seats overlooking the river are nice and quiet...Well worth a visit.

The Riverhouse Barn is a unique little venue. Upstairs is a gallery where they are currently displaying the Mount Felix Tapestry, which is full of local history. Downstairs is the main barn for music, comedy, talks and plays. The cafe is serving home made hot food and drinks from the window. All produce is donated from M&S so the quality is excellent. There are a fabulous range of home made cakes and smoothies as well. For a donation you can pick up bread to feed the birds. There was fresh corn on the cob and apples, donated by Garson's farm on the day I visited. It's a great local venue which has been serving the local community for decades.

Great place, love the regular comedy nights. Fab to see they have adapted during the Covid crisis, we thoroughly enjoyed comedy in the car park!

Beautiful venue, with great acoustics. Varied events, inc. comedy, theatre, exhibitions, classes, music, ie. classical, folk, jazz. Modern jazz is particularly good!

Great little find. I only knew about this place as there was a sign on the Thames Path. There is a great community cafe here with wonderful cakes and great coffee. Take the 2 minute walk off the Thames Path and up through the little park following the right hand path. The cafe and Barn are a few yards from the park gates.
