Used to go here 50 years ago. People might of changed food service atmosphere. Brilliant definitely coming back.

absolutely delicious Bacon roll. I also left my wallet in the café and the kind staff kept it aside for me and tried to contact me to get it back. There are some good people left in the world And you’ll find a few of them at this lovely Cafe

Went here for a few times for breakfast staff always amazingly friendly , food was always bang on aswell!!!

Always pop in here for lunch when I’m in the area. Lovely, friendly people, great atmosphere and beautiful food. The grilled chicken with rice and salad is a favourite of mine and the portion size is amazing! Service is always with a smile and the staff are always very attentive. A great cafe and always my “go to” when in Elmbridge! Keep up the great work guys, see you soon!

The coffee was rank. Felt pressured to use cash. Toilets were dirty. The cafe was a bit of a tip. Staff were over familiar, bordering on rude. Wouldn’t return.

Don't order a hotdog! Nice establishment and the chips were good, BUT... I asked for a hotdog. What I got was a budget grade pork sausage! And I think I paid £4.50 for it!? Total bill was £7.50, and two portions of chips were £1.50 each. £4.50 for a nice juicy frankfurter on a fresh bread roll... that's great. But one lonesome little sausage (no read roll) of the type that you buy in a packet of 20 from Iceland for £1.99? Not so good. Overall, disappointing.

One of the old school cafes I used to go to when I used to live her back again even better, friendly staff would definitely recommend u get a good portion of food. Businesses like this should always stay.

Had some coffees. The couple are sweet and friendly and the coffee was amazing. I don't like sugar and some places i need to add because the coffee is so burnt and bitter but they know what they doing so I was very pleased.

Bigger than it looks, tables spaced out with with plenty of room. Good choice of food, breakfast was good and reasonably priced. Decor a bit dated. Car park just around the corner.

Good value and great if you like truckers cafe and classic breakfast cafe type food. If so, I recommend trying. Great bread, bacon, sausages etc

Came in on the morning of Monday 13th Sept 2021. The usual lady that serves me, was not hospitable didn’t say thank you after I paid her, She acted like I wasn’t even there. I must say poor poor SERVICE

Best cafe ever been to has been there for years with same owners

It is a shame I can't give 0 stars. I order breakfast as a treat this morning and I got a full English and some scampi and chips. The food was delivered 45 minutes later with missing sausages. I gave the cafe a call and they told me they were going to send them straight away (I live less then a mile from them). I ask how long it would have been as we wanted to have our meal togheter and I was told 10 minutes max. 25 minutes later I gave them an other call as they haven't deliver it yet. I said I am not happy as the food by now is all cold and soggy and I would like it to be replaced or I would like a partial refund as part of it was uneatable. I was told they can replace one item but not sending me the full order in acceptable condition (I didn't want to keep any free food, just have what I paid for) and that they can't give me a discount/refund. When I tried to explain it is not fair to pay £22 for something that has gone cold and soggy whilst waiting for the remaining items. the lady at the phone told me she had one person waiting so she hasn't got all day to waste speaking with me. I was speechless she actually said that. Unfortunately customer service was as bad as the food we were charged for. So we ended up with half of the food left as it wasn't a stable, the money taken and a rude and unhelpful service. I will never go back there.

The Archway café is excellent value and a good cook is in residence. My first time in, as I'm scouting a new neighbourhood. You can tell a cafe by how it produces the classics. Ham, Egg & chips is just such a classic British café dish. This one came brimming over with food. Double egg, 4 rounds of ham and generous chips, supported by 2 slices of crusty bread- comes as standard. A very generous portion. Nice coffee too. I will be back when I'm in Hersham again.

The food here is good & a wide range to choose from. However it's always been really busy & noisey whenever I have been there. Not the place to go for a quiet breakfast or lunch.

Came here for breakfast and loved it. There’s a big choice of food and all very reasonably priced. Service was efficient and there was plenty of seating. Food was very tasty. A very relaxed atmosphere suitable for all. For a no frills breakfast this place is excellent. I will be going back.

Proper good old school cafe. Great place to grab a fry up but they also do salads, sandwiches with a choice of breads and things like liver and bacon as well. The place wouldn't be so popular if the portions weren't massive and reasonably priced, food is always consistently excellent and service with a smile and the icing on the cake is they do local delivery. Dangerous if you're hungry of a morning. I've been in central London before and overheard people singing this place praises, really is a local gem.

Spot on. Number 2 breakfast very nice. Swift service hot food. Extra tea for free if wanted. Recommended if you want a pucker breakfast.

They do a very nice breakfast here, plus when I have had lunch it seemed like a challenge because of the amount on the plate.

The Archway Cafe is a must on my itinerary when visiting the UK from Cape Town! We always receive such a friendly welcome and the cup of warm tea makes it feel like home! It surely is the best cup of tea I have ever had! My favourite is the Bacon and Egg crusty white bread sandwich. Hubby has a tailormade breakfast of note! This was my 5th return visit to the Archway Cafe and I will be back again next time. Thanks so much for looking after us.

Om nom nom, greasy spoon in the traditional sense of the word. Reasonable prices, plentiful seating, always busy should tell you everything you need to know.

This place is always busy which indicates the food is good, service is speedy and friendly and the cuppa is the best! Waited here while my car was MOT’d at KT Auto.

Plenty of food on the plate just a shame it's all treading water in oil. Toast is more like warm bread.

It's good food but what I feel is a bit of a cheat is when you don't want beans and ask for mushrooms in stead you pay 20p extra. Thee can't be that much of a price difference between beans and mushrooms.. Over all its a really good breakfast and good enough places to sit.

I have wanted to try this cafe for years and finally had the opportunity recently to grab a sandwich. My daughter and I dropped in to the open and friendly cafe. She had a sausage sandwich on granary and I had a grilled chicken sandwich. Both were excellent quality and great value. The hot food looked great and the winner for me was chilli, rice and chips on the side. Thoroughly recommend the cafe for an all day breakfast

Popped in to the cafe for a quick lunch unexpectedly and loved it. The food is delicious and classic. The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating. Will definitely be returning to this lovely greasy spoon cafe.
