To be honest it was a lot better than I was expected. Poor chief was on his own so slightly on the slow side but food was good. They did seem to be running out of everything by 8pm but then it was a Sunday night.

On arrival the restruant was open with nobody serving, the cooked breakfast on the first morning was very cold because the heating lamps were not working and the food was still left there for the guest to eat even though the chef was aware of this. On the second day breakfast was still cold even though the lamps were working. Overall the atmosphere wasn't great but there was one member of staff on the second day who did apologise for the day before but unfortunately the breakfast was still cold, I would not return here again.

Worse Chinese I have ever tasted !!! We ordered Special sweet and sour , egg fried rice , chips , crispy shredded beef and prawn crackers , the sweet and sour had no taste at all ,the crispy shredded beef was too tough to even eat , again no taste , the prawn crackers were rock hard . The chips were over cooked . We don’t normally go to chilli red but fancied a change tonite . Think we will stick with Flookburgh Chinese as that is the best one around here !

Best way I can explain this meal is it was like dish water. Worst chinese ive had. Singapore chow mein was soggy and tasteless. Hoisin sauce tasted like vinegar. Prawn crackers were stale. And when I got home my curry sauce wasnt in there. Terrible.

Absolutely appalling experience — easily the rudest and most uncomfortable visit to a bar I’ve ever had. We walked into what was a completely empty pub — and it became immediately clear why no one else was there. The woman behind the bar greeted us with all the warmth and enthusiasm of a parking ticket. She looked genuinely disappointed that anyone had dared walk through the door. We were met with a flat, joyless “food or drinks?” — no welcome, no hello, just a sense that our presence was a problem. When we said we were interested in both, we were essentially shooed back outside and told the menus were “out there.” Charming. Tried to ask what beers were on tap, as none were labeled. She didn’t even acknowledge the question. Just stared right through us like we weren’t even there. Against all better judgment, we ordered a Coke and a lager. That’s when things somehow got worse. £8 for the two, which would be fine — if the Coke hadn’t been a warm, canned insult slapped down on the bar, and the lager a murky, sour-tasting swamp in a glass. Genuinely undrinkable — left half of it untouched. Bring back the good sport please. All new changes are definitely not for the better.
