2 meats and rice is spot on. I recommend the duck and pork. I went to the St Paul's shop and would go again. Tasted very nice, might be due to lack of competition around the Fleet St area!

Staff in the Brixton store were rude. Traveled 45 minutes to get here only for them not to try to get us to have our food takeaway from when we arrived only for them to serve two people after us for dine it. When we asked why they were rude and said it was a mistake. The flavours are good but the portions are small all rice no meat

Open late hours. Great dipping sauces: ginger-oil, fresh chili paste, hoisin-like soy sauce, dried chili and onion flakes oil. Reasonably priced duck. Clean and very nice service.

I walked in to to Liverpool Street station branch. It was not too busy as it is 5.15pm. Three people working. Queue of two people. Did not get served at all after waiting 15 mins. So had to go somewhere else. Total waste of time. Best of luck to them.

I had a quick lunch here while on the way to the airport from Liverpool St Station. This restaurant is located opposite the station and is easy to find. They didn't have the pork belly ready when I arrived at their opening time of 1145 am so I settled for the roast duck and Char siu with rice and also ordered the siu mai. The roast duck, char siu and siew mai aren't the best I have tasted in london, duck was dry. The char siu and siew mai were also ordinary. This place mostly caters to takeaway and a small section for dine in. Plenty of better places for Cantonese roast in london.

I had wantons in Chili sauce accompanied broccoli and beans, and a light better, which was delicious. The staff (aunties and an uncle) as attentive and courteous and the price was reasonable for the excellent food. It Is a very nice place for a Sunday morning Dim Sum treat with the light streaming into the market Hall Street.

Their roast duck and crispy pork belly with rice blew me away! The duck was bursting with incredible flavour, and the pork belly skin had the perfect crispiness. It was an authentic and delightful experience that I'm already craving to have again! If you love traditional Cantonese roast meat, this spot is an absolute must-visit! Highly recommended!

We stopped in here for a bite. It was a bit crowded as it is a very small space and seating is limited. However, the ordering process is streamlined, so we were able to order relatively quickly and our food was ready quickly. It is all packed as take away. We managed to secure seats and dine in. I had the char sui and the chicken, and both of them were bursting with flavor. The orders come with white rice and lightly sauteed baby bok choy, which was also tasty. Reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

Ordered Roast Duck over Noodles, but they said they didn't do noodles in the afternoon, and that I couldn't order duck on its own, so I had to go for a combo version with duck and char sui. Came quickly within a few minutes. Sat down on a dirty table shared with two others. Opened the box that measured about 15cm length and 10cm wide and 10cm depth. About two scoops of rice that was a bit dried out and a very small portion of duck (just the leg) and 4 small pieces of char sui with a normal portion of pak choi. (Probably weighed no more than 275g!!) Not impressed at all for £13.75p. I could have had a nicer, more filling meal at the pub next door. I've learnt my lesson. Best go to a traditional Chinese restaurant than this souped-up trendy joint. More style over substance!! Also, server was friendly with the other customers saying goodbye, please come back, but nothing to me. Think they're discriminatory due to my skin colour!!

Amazing roast meats (duck, pork) and hainanese chicken rice! Shop is certainly not fit for a family of 5 with 3 young children (no high chairs, limited seating) but that did not deter us from having a great meal. In fact, we came back a 2nd time to order takeout.

My best Cantonese dish in London. Love the whole dish: meats (BBQ pork, pork belly and roast duck) tasty, flavourful and mouth watering! vegetables (pak choy and old cucumber) and the aroma & perfectly cooked rice. The staff were friendly and chatty. Limited tables and seats. Indeed an hidden gem in London. Highly recommended.

I was excited to read about the opening of this eatery, Three Uncles, in Brixton Village thinking at last I do not have to buy my roast duck, Char Siu and crispy roast pork from restaurants in the West End. I went to Brixton Village specifically to eat there. I ordered Roast Duck and Char Siu noodles and Won Tons in Chilli Oil. Nothing looked freshly prepared. The roast duck looked at least a day old and the Char Siu was rock hard. The experience was truly disappointing and I won’t be returning again ever. The service was friendly and the lady even agreed with my comments!

I visited the Camden branch for dinner and had a great meal. I know the restaurant is Cantonese but it reminded me of the hawker centre food of Singapore that I love and crave. Portions were generous for the price. I had the roast duck and rice and it was great. The rice was cooked well and the sauce was amazing. Would definitely come back.

OK. Here we go......I bit my tongue on this one in the restaurant, as I hate to be the party pooper shaming my friends nearly 300 a head lunch. Food was well prepared, tasty, but was simply not generous enough. It felt like a light lunch despite going for the main event (and being TOLD we were having the wine flight), and although precise cookery, nothing really stood out. Mainly due to the lack of portion generosity (yes yes, I know it's Dim sum). The food came in fits and starts and we were never really party to the dishes' philosophies, inspirations or any technical explanations, other than the basic X with Y and Z and a few buzzy words you'd expect to hear in a high-end Asian eatery in London. Really quite poor service and atmosphere for this level of accolade, even if most of the service team themselves were lovely. Initially enthralling bustle of the many staff and humdrum of the kitchen (adjacent to our table) in reality made it hard to comprehend even the basic spiel of the offerings. I've done a fair few top end restaurants of late and this was scraping 1* in my view. Due mainly to the lack of pomp and ceremony amid the quite frankly average service, poor atmospherics, and lack of context (I appreciate these aren't the strict criteria). My main issues were the lack of transparency in pricing and the uninspiring wine program. Yes, we were given Dom Perignon 2013, as well as the more budget end of Schloss Johannisberg's riesling spectrum, but the wines to follow were easy to source from UK retailers, and simply mid-range gumph. We were not once offered any insight into their origins, and the rationale for how they were paired (with, admittedly, some complex less wine-friendly flavours). I'd have expected some more umami focused wines, and why feel the need to serve a red at all? The Sauternes with dessert was pleasant but it was young and easily sourced (from Majestic) for 15 a half bottle. Not exactly special or interesting. I'd have expected them to be serving something with some age, oxidation or distinct character if I'm honest, rather than the namesake 'badge of honour'. A couple of major hiccups that left us sour, a bit salty, and certainly not sweet.... 1) Asked if we fancied some Champagne before we kicked off....... it was tempting by the range on show, but luckily my friend queried the prices up front and we were simply told it's 37 per glass (I believe in reference to the Ruinart Rose. Woof). We quickly asked for alternative aperitifs and were presented with a cocktail menu at a shade less ridiculous prices. Of course, monsieur sommelier was not forthcoming with this and wanted to flog the pricey stuff. What a terrible way to build rapport with your customers at the outset. 2) The lack of pricing transparency continued to the conclusion, where we were offered a choice of 2 coffees. Little to our knowledge they were not included, and were priced eyewateringly at a respective 9.5 and 15 pound. Shameless. To boot, there was zero effort from anyone in the kitchen, or the latterly present main man, to greet or acknowledge us, and we never received the promised menus. I've corroborated my views with others' who have visited on recent occasions. The petit fours were delicious, but the plum shot will unfortunately last as a sour taint for much much longer than intended. No doubt chef and team have worked their woks off to get where they are, but I personally wouldn't venture back or recommend - maybe the 2* is a great ticket to 'single visit/ international churn', but in terms of sustaining a business and maintaining an enduring reputation, I doubt it's a very good strategy. Apologies if you're reading this and are past the pay wall of no return on your booking. My advice would be.....if you care about value for money or your wallet's contents, keep a keen eye on that pesky cheque, and certainly get your coffee round the corner.

It's an establishment that has lost its tradition. The crab Linguine was drenched in heavy cream, garlicky and nothing refreshing. The Pappardelle lamb ragu was gamey and fully coated with oil. I am glad the ricotta ball saved the meal because the focaccia was cold and soggy. This is probably an unusual experience.
