Three Saints Hotel in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Sorry, but this place is a nightmare....security EVERYWHERE with body worn cameras, which Is not the problem, BUT....when I found out why....WOW!! Always gangs of 10-20 hanging around outside, buying this and selling that, If you know what I mean. Hostile staff. IMHO - stay away. These gangs that live there have a curfew of 11.30pm and actually have to ASK PERMISSION If they can go away for the day!! OMG! Is this a halfway house? Open prison? Weird!

I regularly order the Takeaway Sunday Lunch with dessert if we fancy it. I cannot fault the lunches. All fresh local veg and a very good portion of choice of meats. The gravy is delicious too. There is plenty in the boxes for me to plate up a second lunch for the following day. And I was offered many condiments to add to the lunches. The puddings have cream or custard in separate containers. The price is amazing. £7.99 and if you are a Blue Light Card holder you are offered your meal at half price! The staff on the phone when you order have all been very polite and helpful. And when I pick them up the staff on the entrance are absolutely lovely, kind and polite. Highly recommend the Three Saints Hotel for a Takeaway. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Fantastic takeout Sunday lunches. Girl on the telephone is so helpful, and pleasant. Discount for NHS and Armed Forces. 2 lunches with all the trimmings less than £8 Absolutely value for money. Another great touch is the condiments you can have when collecting. Horse radish and mint sauce. The food was stunning. If I could give more then 5 stars I would 👏👏🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Better off on the streets when you get no hit water for a shower and till felt warmer in a tent

Food from here tastes awful, I've tried on two separate occasions to get a Sunday dinner to take away and whilst the service was great the food unfortunately wasn't nice.

Sunday dinner is lovely. Offer for OAP and NHS.

The roasts was hard,lumpy mash parsnip burned to crisp carrots harder than Mike Tyson the only nice thing was my sausage an turkey .its not the 1st or second time either its the 3rd!!! phoned to complain to be told on my next order they will give discount told them its okay ther will be no next order will never have my costom again

Stayed here with Goodwick Community Brass Band. Clean, really nice staff went out their way to make sure we had everything we needed and even kept the kitchen open as we were late back. Breakfast was really good. Not great luxury, not in the best of condition but beds comfy, slept well and we all left happy. Thank you.

Very very unprofessional , please do not stay at this so called hotel . They. Need to be closed down . Ants and spiders in restaurant and don’t even wash their hands . Owner is very abusive . Was 3 of us and gave us 1 room when booked 2 rooms . Staff is violent . Please spend your money on other hotels not this one . You will regret it . Mark my words

In need of a good face lift but ok for what you pay. Breakfast was ok (had full English). Rooms are basic and need updating but bed was comfortable enough and shower was ok.

A Tired old and smelly 'hotel' opposite royal mint could do with being knocked down and a hotel being built in its place to be honest. Decided not to take the chance and stay so left.

Damp in bedroom & bathroom. Damage in bathroom. Bedding smelled musty. Unattended reception. Noisy. The whole building needs repair and renovation.

This is a hotel, pub and restaurant. We stayed here as a family (6 rooms, 11 adults, 3 children), when attending a wedding nearby. Staff could not have been more helpful, particularly in addressing multiple food allergies and special dietary requirements. Most of the rooms had been refurbished and were very clean. Other parts are run down and in need of updating. The place wasa bit scruffy, but we were comfortable, and it was good value for money.

Room was OK but tired. Rush job on sealant around window sill. Bathroom needs a new make over black damp on ceiling, bath panel different color and did not fit, wi fi not great. No real atmosphere in the bar and fosters tasted like cleaning fluid still in the beer pipes 2 nights. Meals OK but good breakfast. Generally OK for 2 nights but have stayed at better sports bars lots of room for inprovment. I was in room14 and other person in 13 not to bad😞

Hotel isnt the Hilton but for the money we paid which included breakfast it was worth it. The staff were very friendly and catered to our needs when requested. Room was a little outdated but very clean bedding was fresh as were the towels provided. I would stay here again.

Very good food. Best Carvery for meat with choice of beef, turkey, pork, lamb and chicken with generous quantities in any combination. Excellent vegetable selection too. Advised to visit before 2:30pm for best cuts and full choice if vegetables.

We had a very good break and enjoyed our stay last August when we visited this area for a family birthday.

Basic but very clean room, with TV and kettle, nice biscuits! The breakfasts are very good, full English or cereal and yogurts. Well worth the £81 for two nights for two people. Located directly opposite the Royal Mint, if visiting like we were it's very handy. Nothing else very local though but they will offer to order take out for you, the bar is open until 10pm.

It was difficult to find because the post code cover such a wide area. It looked like a complete dive from the outside. The outside drive was uneven and poorly lit. A a venue fir pates it is ok not great though.

A "truck drivers" hotel. Very simple hotel with very basic rooms that are starting to fall apart. The one redeeming factor was that everything was very clean. I was visiting for work and have now let my team know that I won't stay here again.

Had a carvery as it was Sunday it was very nice will definitely go again.

Just had my mother's day meal with you it was fault less it tasted like proper home made dinner would highly recommend it to people the service was very quick and all very polite and nice mannered THANK-YOU for a lovely meal

The Three Saints is a wonderful venue with a GIANT area upstairs for events, a cozy bar and separate meeting rooms. Happy to say they allow many charities to use their facilities completely free of charge. Run by a friendly hard working team, highly recommended.

Very reasonable drink prices, cheaper than all thr local pubs. We went to a birthday celebration where I had a very tasty chicken curry. All in all a very nice venue with excellent food and some of the cheapest drinks in the area. I'll definitely go again.

Great setting and nice food available

Would not stay here again. Cleanliness not up to a good standard. Maintenance needs looking at. We didn't bother with eating here. We had youngsters drunk and swearing at each other in the bar area and at the entrance. Due to the fact it's opposite the Royal Mint it could attract visitors but one look at the disheveled appearance from the outside it would deter them.

Stayed here a few times as was contracting around the corner. It's not the Ritz, but it's not the worst place I have stayed. The rooms are clean and beds are comfy. TV was a bit on the small side but it's only a TV so not important. Evening meals are a bit lack luster but if you are tired and hungry they will suffice. Breakfast on the other hand is absolutely cracking! Nailed it every morning. Staff are all friendly and the bar is fairly well stocked and cheap!

Booked for a party of over 20 people and the evening was great! Food served quickly, no issues. Staff were amazing, very friendly, polite, helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Even set up a table where we could put our birthday cake and allowed us to put up decorations. Exceeded expectations. Highly recommend!

Undergoing ongoing refurbishment when I visited, so a little tired looking in places but still fantastic value for money and very helpful and friendly staff. Hopefully the refurb goes well.

A nice little hotel which is an excellent base if you have planned a visit to the Royal Mint, which is directly across the road. We arrived quite late, around midnight, we found the night porter, who was attending to his duties around the hotel, he was friendly and helpful and helped us check in and showed us to our room. The room was clean and comfortable and after a good nights sleep we got up, washed in our ensuite, dressed and went for breakfast. The breakfast was good and when the chef noticed that some items were running low, quickly cooked some more, again the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful and even allowed us to leave our car in the hotel car park whilst we visited the Royal Mint. A very enjoyable stay and friendly staff.

Place ok needs a good paint job inside and out maybe gents toilet near bar needs upgrading food was ok but need to change menu every week

Have stayed here regularly. You get what you pay for and a bit more at The Three Saints . This is the quietest, most peaceful hotel in the area. We ask for a room overlooking the garden and surrounding woods. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Large flat screen tv's and big comfortable beds. A bit dated, but we much prefer it to the soulless Premier Inn and it's much cheaper, and a lot more personal.

We popped in for a cold drink after doing The Mint tour. The carvery smelt delicious and very popular, not an empty table in sight
