Lovely food but slow service but I understand!

Average with poor service. Food was mediocre, nothing "bad" about it (carvery) but I've had a lot better in other places. My biggest annoyance at the time was winessing the young barman (med length black hair), who is evidently not happy at his job, sat us down then ignored us, then when ordering drinks getting huffs and sighs because two of our party are deaf so we needed to translate for them. I had watched him use the postmix gun for our pepsi .. it was half postmix and half just soda water. When drinks arrived, he handled the glasses by the rim, and then promptly watched him regularly stick his fingers on his ears and not wash hands again. Very much giving me the "ick"

Excellent Thai food with great friendly service. Relaxed atmosphere. You can mix and match Thai with pub food menus.

Went there five days ago for Sunday lunch which was booked 8/12/24 .What has happen to the other staff that run the place? it was not like this before, had to wait for drinks and the meal. Will not bother again.

Waiting 40 mins for the first drink. Didn't stick around for food. Terrible service very rude.

Really disappointing experience. Rude lead member of staff. Young lad serving that looked and acted like he wanted to be anywhere other than at work. Utter chaos with seating and ordering food. One disabled toilet for the entire restaurant. As the other toilets were leaking. We had to find an alternative for Sunday lunch as we had been ignored with what I assumed were regular visitors taking priority. First impressions count. We were met by a female member of staff who rudely told us to move out of the door way as soon as we walked in.

My recent visit to the Three Horseshoes was an absolute disaster. The service provided by the staff was not only rude but also inefficient, leaving a sour taste from the start. The quality of the food was equally disappointing. The meat we were served was dry and old offcuts from the previous joint, the potatoes were cardboard and seemingly microwaved, the rest lacked any freshness or flavor, further diminishing the overall dining experience. To add insult to injury, the restaurant's hygiene standards were abysmal. The male toilets were completely flooded and the female toilets were all blocked, rendering them unusable. This left a single cubicle as the only available restroom for the entire restaurant, causing significant inconvenience and discomfort for all. The disorganised and chaotic payment process for larger groups added to the overall negative experience. I would strongly advise anyone considering dining at the Three Horseshoes to reconsider. The combination of poor service, subpar food, and appalling hygiene conditions makes it a place to avoid.

Awful place. Booked a table for 4 about a month ago. Turned up at 1.35 our table was 1.45 the lady told us to wait while our table was cleaned we said we would order a drink in the bar she said no wait here for your table! We sat down at 1.45 and ordered drinks which took 10 minutes then waited and waited. After 20 minutes a lad came over to take our order but we couldn't understand what he was saying after another 5 minutes a young girl came over to take our order we said we had ordered 4 carveries she said we would be next. Meanwhile tables that came in after us were taken up to get their meal after 50 minutes we still had not been seen and a queue of people had formed to complain about various issues they had we felt there was nothing left to do but leave. The whole experience was awful I would not recommend at all.

Had an issue with a delivery. Not the owners fault at all. They offered replacement food and were extremely apologetic. Have ordered from here multiple times the food is always excellent. We have only been in the area for about a year and the three horseshoes offers a varied and extensive menu. We have never had a bad meal from there.

The picture speaks for itself ! 10/10 service, decor is like a NEXT showroom it’s really comfy and welcoming and honestly the food was unreal - 50 minute drive each way for us but was well worth it! Have to charge the car tonight 😂 The only negative was the weather so we couldn’t sit by the stream in the seating area - defo coming back with family or friends!

EDIT: Interesting that my negative review is responded to via a referral to 'another part of the business', but a positive review with American Diner pictures, literally below mine, has been responded to with no reference to the American Diner being separate. 🤔 Not a great experience at the American diner here. Food was really lovely but service is shocking at best. I "was" a regular customer until my recent experience which was something that could've been easily resolved rather than arguing and huffing. To them they missed one item off my order, to my children it took away the whole excitement of getting an American takeaway. Not great. 😞

Excellent Thai, both eat in and takeaway. Chicken satay, sharing starter (when eating in), Pad Thai, penang curry and Thai green curry are our favourites

Really good food. Had a vegetarian Thai meal. It was so good sticky rice was just right veg fresh.

Once again the Three Horseshoes pub have excelled themselves To he Carvery was as always excellent Hot Very tasty and delicious for my husband and I s wonderful day out son had booked the table we thought because he couldn't get away from work He did and the suprise was fantastic celebrating a77birthfsy and s 54th wedding Anniversary To all the staff Thank you for a wonderful afternoon 💘

We usually love it here, but on the last visit our food was very salty. Service, as always, was excellent and welcoming. The atmosphere at times is not relaxing, with takeaway collections.

I have been to the three horseshoes many times and I love too go. It is such a pleasure to be there. We actually recently hosted a retirement party in there new American diner area and the food was brilliant. I really recommend it.

We ordered through just eat at 7.30 pm to be told on the app that it would be delivered between 8.10-8.30 at 8.45 we had no delivery or contact to tell us that the delivery was going to be late. We call the three horseshoes and was told that they would be delivering in 10 minutes, 10 minutes past and still not delivery. Our food arrived at 9.15 by a very grumpy delivery guy who didn't speak to us and there was no apology for the lateness. It's such a shame as at that point we didn't feel hungry and didnt really enjoyed the food. I think if we had been told that they were busy or having delivery problems we would have happily collected. Very poor communication.

Ordered a delivery for first time from here. Excellent service from the staff ensuring they had correct delivery details to the food arriving in good time. Had basil and chilli stir fry and the special fried rice with chicken, big portions could not finish, so tasty though. Have eaten in here too and it’s well worth a visit. Highly recommended and will definitely have again.

Lovely pub/restaurant serving Thai and English food.

We found this place whilst driving by one day, booked a table and tried the Sunday Carvery. Since then we have returned several times for the Carvery, and tried out the Thai menu. The food and service have been consistently good. I would highly recommend them, the Three Horseshoes Wixford is well worth taking a detour to visit.

Food is always delicious and service is always very friendly. I have had both the Thai food and Carvery and it is always so good.

I love Thai but my husband doesn't. So it was brilliant for us to go out and eat together.

Whilst visiting in the areas my family and I had a lovely Saturday lunch time dining experience at this restaurant that offers a unique blend of English and Thai cuisine. My father enjoyed the scampi and chips, my daughter had the ribs and chips from the kids’ menu, while I opted for the Thai green curry with jasmine rice. The food was simply delightful but sadly we were all hungry so no photos to show. Drink wise we had a rather large Pepsi and a couple of pints of Purity Lawless Lager, which added to the overall experience. The service was friendly and attentive. I recommend this place for a delicious dining experience!

We didn't have Thai as we aren't sure of the food, so had the English menu, it's a little experience, but worth it. Don't mind paying the extra cost as long as it's worth it and it definitely was. We are going back to have the Thai buffet on a Tuesday 😁highly recommended, specially if it's a special occasion

I hadnt been to 3 horseshoes for 8 years called in on friday evening to try their thai menu what a lovely surprise the thai red and thai yellow curry were superb very authentic and just delicious so much so we went back sunday only to find it's a sunday roast menu have to say that it was beautifully presented and very hot and I enjoyed every mouthful along with the steamed treacle pudding and no washing up the staff are first class for helpfulness and friendliness altogether a lovely experience we will be repeating this week too

We found this little gem of a place quite by accident. Not having eaten a lot of Thai, we decided to eat off the Thai menu and were not disappointed. Highly recommend the Butternut Squash Thai Red Curry and the Cashew Nut Stirfy. We both really enjoyed our meals. Great starter in the Sweetcorn Fritters, which we both enjoyed. The only we wish we could change would be to live more locally so we could go again.

Lovely pub and they cater for my Autistic son, also remembered his preference when we went before, unfortunately my son was having a bad food day and only wanted beans and bread and they happily done it for him even tho it was a carvery menu only day. Best service, can't recommend enough.

Very disappointed. This is usually one of my favourite places to go however my visit recently was terrible. The service was awful & my food I ordered was incorrect. The food was absolutely divine: top marks to the chef but the waitress/waiter staff need a LOT more training. As our food was brought out singularly to us, half way through the waiter began to serve another customer, pouring them a drink before delivering our table our food! We had waited 45mins already and I was NOT HAPPY that one of the table members waited an extra 10mins with an excuse of ‘we are just melting the cheese’ unbelievable & very rude. It is unfortunate: but I will not be coming here again.

Very disappointed expensive...awful food... Ordered phad thai prawn, the rice noodles were soggy, dripping in oil, only 2x prawns cut in half the prawns the prawns also tasted awful almost a mushy consistency....and the spring onions were slimy. chicken satay was dry chewy and bland, the veg spring rolls were soggy on the bottom and undercooked, all in all nearly £50 spent...not even edible food thats now in the bin... what a waste! And what we did eat has given us both a very upset stomach... we will not be ordering here again... would not recommend!

Lovely food. Great atmosphere and service. We enjoyed an Oyster stir fry and Penang curry both very tasty and fresh. Great find will definitely be back when here again.

Latest minute decision to go out for Sunday dinner. Staff at Three Horseshoes kindly went out of way to provide lovely Sunday meal for two despite having finished serving for the day. That’s great customer service.

Just had an absolutely lovely dinner at the Three Horseshoes. The decor is quirky and friendly so I was hoping the food would be on par and oh boy the food turned out to be SUPERB!! Really amazing Thai food with massive portions. I can't believe we only just discovered this place, we will be back many times! Seriously, just do yourself a favour and try it out. BTW they also do cocktails!

Thai Thai @ Three Horseshoes. I have eaten a lot of Thai foods over the past 3 years, so I know what to expect when ordering. This being my first visit to Thai Thai, and definitely more to come , came as no disappointment.....The premises are spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly,polite and helpful. I ordered the Pad Thai Duck and crackers. The food was beautifully cooked and piping hot, and a very generous portion !!. I loved every mouthful of my takeaway and I certainly will be visiting again soon.

Horrible. Greasy, stodgy stir fry. How can anyone get a simple noodle stir fry so badly wrong? Slap dash with no attention to detail. ------------------ So your response is that for all you know, I could be posting a fake review and that I am "venting"? Brilliant. No, I am reviewing a real meal bought from you, swimming in grease. Public reviews serve a vital purpose to give other members of the public feedback on the quality of your fare. I only review when things are ridiculously bad, so seven reviews isn't too bad for all the good businesses I have had dealings with. The fact that you are one of the seven and you try to deflect it back on to me, speaks volumes about you.

Incredible service, from what we can only believe was the chef. She seemed to be overseeing everything from the bar, the kitchen and the takeout service. The service was impeccable though, and the food we could not fault, it was cooked to perfection and tasted absolutely beautiful!

Thai takeaway was 45mins late, one dish missing and 2 pots of rice (from someone else's order) delivered. Had ordered from here before but this time the food was cold and seperate, pre-cooked veg added to the dishes to bulk them out. Don't recommend Sweet & Sour veg + few pieces of chicken for nearly £15 with sauce so thin it was like water. Such a shame as the whole meal was spoilt with 1/2 its dishes too cold too eat + not something you could microwave either. Maybe just a bad night for the restaurant but "could do MUCH better" and the price too much for the offering.

Had a dodgy stummy after my dinner so did my MIL proseco over priced and took a while to get attention to get the bill, the staff were very friendly

Went for Lunch on Christmas day. Lovely experience, staff were friendly and helpful. As a family it was a great experience for our first time out on Christmas Day. Will definitely do it again. The portion size were great, I was so full when I left. Tasty food. Well done guys.

The food was really bad I had the sizzling chicken and the skin was awful, pale and not nice and the sauce was oilly the chicken was just dump on the sizzler and not cut up the chicken was cheap to be honest. I could not eat it and my sister had the fish it was dry and the vegetables were not cooked and the mash was not even potatoes it was smash not good and they didn't offer to knock anything off the bill and the starter came with the main meal 😞 and it was only garlic bread 2 slices and it was dry and could not eat eat it very poor...went tonight too see about going christmas day but no way not now sorry guys but not good.Wont be going again

Simply the best takeaway we have for Bidford, the food was amazing. It was hot and packaged well. I like the cardboard pots too, literally so happy this place exists

Friendly staff and excellent food

First time here and decided to go for the Tai menu. Was not disappointed. It was so delicious. The service was excellent and very friendly. All the dishes were fresh and so tasty. Can highly recommend Pork Toast, satay chicken, massaman curry, panang curry and the coconut rice. 10 out of 10 and will definitely be going back

we have been here a few times before, when it was the three horseshoes and then coopers and had not had a bad meal. First visit with it being thai thai and must say none of us were impressed. meals were OK, but not for the price. offer of puddings was poor, as they didn't have many left or in stock. overall paid a lot of money for drinks and a meal and left thinking "we could have had a nicer meal elsewhere much cheaper". won't be returning anytime soon. disappointed overall and sad as this place used to be our "nice treat" go to place.

This place has gone through many changes over the past few years. 15 or so years ago it was absolutely fantastic and heaving every night because it was well staffed, great food and drinks and a very pleasant atmosphere. We were regulars then. The various incumbents since then have seen no measure of success at all. So when we saw recently that it had reverted to The Three Horseshoes foloowing British Pub debacle we thought we'd give it a go. Now you can't really call it a pub. I had misgivings when I saw the recently installed pair of large cement elephants outside the front door (eyesore) and I was proven right when a rather scary presumably Thai person not exactly greeted us, but crossly directed us to the bar area to find a table (it was empty save for one bewildered looking couple mid meal). So we waited at the bar to order a drink and eventually a somewhat clueless barman came to take our drinks order. They were out of everything we wanted beerwise and so as we had not been made welcome or given a menu - and there was no atmosphere at all - we left.

I suppose if you are going to sell chicken wings, it may be a good idea if they atleast looked like them. Came with a table of 4 and one ordered the wings. Very tasty but not chicken wings sorry.

My wife and I went to this restaurant because I love Thai food. And seeing this advertised on the side of a van on the Eversham road we thought great, that's not far from us so gave it ago. I ordered the spicy chicken wings. Except I didn't get the chicken wings. What I got was part of the chicken wing, the humour. It's like asking for pork spare ribs and only getting the meat! Even the chef came out to convince me I had chicken wings, I argued if that were true, then where is the rest of the wing? No point in arguing this point. Just check out the photo. We just paid for our drinks, my wife's starter and left. Won't be going back.

We grabbed a thai take out from here and it was FABULOUS I had a tofu pad thai and my hubby had green curry. Both dishes were exceptional. We are planning to return as a sit down

Nice food. However did not see the peanuts in the vegetarian dish. This is dangerous for a family member with strong allergy, people die of. These need to be removed for safety as as nothing really

Collected food last night and was dubious as we've had some dodgy takeaways over the months but we were hugely impressed by the Three Horseshoes! Even with a 40 minute round trip it was totally worth it. Food was great and still warm by the time we got home. Collection was easy and worry free as you literally pull up in your car outside and the bring it out to you. Plus you could save some money if you call them directly and order a collection. Wish we'd done that instead of ordering on Just Eat but we'll know for next time.

Scrumptious food and heartwarming stuff! That's what anyone would need these days! All the best to their staff!
