What a disappointment! Have eaten at previous venue numerous times, and had great experience, this was 1st visit to The Park venue and likely to be last! Ordered drinks, lemonade and 2 beers. Lemonade so flat that it looked like tap water! Then told 2nd couldn’t be flat as had come from bar! Assumption that we wanted 2 pints. Till alarm ringing out and server had no idea what to do. Poor attitude- walked out and ate elsewhere. Don’t expect business to last at this location.

Not our first time as this little restaurant we are always made to feel welcome with a warm atmosphere and every time enjoyed our food and experience! Food is authentic and so fresh! Recommend guys…. Go?

It didn't start well and only got worse unfortunately. It took ages for someone to come over and ask what we wanted to drink. We ordered our food at the same time because we'd been there so long we'd already decided. The man on the table behind us (who was there when we arrived) seemed understandably annoyed that we'd been served before him and asked if he could order as he had been waiting some time. It wasn't busy either - it was only me and my friend and 3 other small tables. The owner took our order but didn't write it down (my friend and I joked after she left that we wouldn't be able to remember orders correctly if we didn't write them down. How right we were!). The lady wasn't friendly or polite - she didn't smile and seemed annoyed - not good or welcoming customer service. My friend's meal came and the lady asked if she wanted rice with it (something she could have suggested when we ordered). A little while later my Pad Thai came - it was chicken but I'd ordered prawn. I politely explained I didn't order it and sent it back. Then a male waiter came over and asked if I'd eat chicken and prawn, again I explained I don't eat chicken, I'm a pescatarian and he disappeared back into the kitchen. When it came back out, it was suspiciously fast and my friend and I joked that it was the same one but they'd just fished the chicken out and added a few prawns. As I started eating it, it became blatantly apparent that this was exactly what they'd done! There were flecks of what could only be chicken throughout and then I found a huge piece. I called the lady over who apologised and completely blamed the kitchen staff as though she knew nothing about it. So, all in all, not a good experience: the wait time was ridiculous considering it wasn't busy at all, our meals came out at different times and sides that could have been recommended at ordering were suggested after the food arrived; and then the whole indifferent attitude to making me eat chicken when I don't eat meat! Massively disappointed in the owner's attitude towards it and will never eat there again.

I praise this place on every occasion,the food is still great and the staff are very attentive. This was the case this time around, but sadly we was asked to leave at 9. 30 pm. Considering we booked the table for 7pm and they served us some drinks just gone 9 pm I'm a bit lost for words. We had spent £200 up until then, when exiting the premises my friend noticed there advertising chalk board. I kid you not when reading it I was very confused, it read open from 5.30 till late? When booking I would confirm that your not gonna be kicked out at 9.30 pm if your looking to socialise for the evening with friends.

what can i say, really disapointed! was suposed to be a Fathers day treat for me from my daughter after I have been ill. A chap came up at the same time as us and said that it was a shame as its a great place. sadly not one i will ever go to after this.
