Just went in to collect food and what I saw was shocking the place is infested with maggots & rats 🐀

[Update] - I went once more, and it wasn't great. Time to find some other place. So, I knew of this place years ago, and I've been 3 times recently. What is surprising is that their chicken still tastes good! There are so many chicken shops in Birmingham. Some start of good, then deteriorate. Some, were never good in the first place. This is my go to chicken shop now.

These guys make great food but place needs a renovation. Excellent customer service. Disabled access. Indoor seating. Great value deals.

If I could give 0 stars I would have. Absolute horror the food from here. Shop looks run down also and has been like that since 2008 lol Wings, Fries and burgers were terrible. I binned most of it. Avoid this place

Best fried chicken in brum ,every Friday without fail

Great fried burger but it can be hit and miss. I got lucky this time It's a take away but you can eat it in, though it very unclean so I wouldn't recommend it

The worst place to eat from. The chicken was undercooked. It was pink on the inside and tasted proper off. I asked for colsow and they gave me beans. I’m allergic to beans. Called the food place and they was being rude and tried saying we was lying when we had clear evidence. Do not eat from here as the food and customer service is really bad. Do not recommend it at all. This can result in food poisoning and allergic reactions.

Chicken is dry as sand paper. Don't waste your time and money here.

Food is good but shop needs decorating

Good food tasty bazooka burgers but they reduced the size and charge more. It's a bit of a shame come on

Used to go here way back with my dad they were great but ever since other shops nearby opened they haven't changed it up they still have that archaic design from 2009 and the quality of food has dropped dramatically if I wanted better chicken that isn't KFC I'd go to UK Fried Chicken or Roscoes.

Was the spot before they moved premises the kashmiri wings are hot and the burger is nice have to ask for cheese on the burger though

Amazing food , the chicken is the best I have ever tasted !. You’ve got to try their Bazooka burger , very juicy with a taste that blows you away !. Great consistency you know what to expect .They have maintained their standards , superb food , great prices and exceptional service . No wonder they have been around for decades . The Number One place for Chicken - Keep it up Rooster King here’s a big shout out !

Easily the best chicken burgers in Birmingham. These guys are the original gangsters. Luscious burgers and generous proportions. I've been visiting these guys since they were near the petrol station on Coventry Road. Only wish they signed up with HMC for the clearest halaal standards.

The seasoning they use on their chicken and especially on the spicy wings are addicting. Took all my mates and they love it just as much as me. Most underrated shop. Its been here for almost 3 decades and theres a reason why.

Standard food, nothing amazing. Thought it was really good from reviews, chicken.com wings are way better 🙄 Burger was decent though

Been going Rooster for over 20 years. To date still one the best places for a spicy breast fillet burger meal. The service is quick, food is always hot big portions and decent prices, the chilli source is nice.

Load of rubbish, hygiene level of staff is terrible, uncooked fries and chicken, you want to fall sick then go ahead.
