The Yorkshire Wrap Company in Leeds

Visited the food market as my partner fancied the Yorkshire pudding wrap. There were 3 of us that tried it the other went next door for a chicken shawarma which was excellent. Anyway, the “Yorkshire pudding” didn’t even look like Yorkshire pudding more like a solid black burnt wrap and the beef content was brown mush with red cabbage through it. Did not look anything like advertised at all. Very very poor ingredients it would seem. All three of us left over half…..straight in the bin. On the train on the way home when talking about it my partner actually said he still had a vile grease taste in his mouth and stomach and would absolutely never visit again. Good concept for a food outlet but hugely disappointing.

Tenía el cerdo con relleno, salsa de manzana, mostaza y salsa. Les pidió que no añadieran mostaza, lo cual estaba bien, no lo hicieron. No había señales ni sabor de salsa de manzana o salsa de carne. La envoltura parecía ser solo cerdo viscoso, y relleno. Lo único que se podía probar era el relleno. Le pregunté si podía tomar algo de salsa porque se habían olvidado de agregarlo y me dijeron que en realidad estaba premezclado en el cerdo. La 'mezcla' de cerdo era blanquecina y viscosa, ciertamente no tenía salsa marrón. La señora dijo que no podían darme salsa porque ya está en el cerdo. Entonces, el limo blanquecino es lo que llaman salsa. Le dije a la señora que estaban engañando a los clientes, ya que ciertamente no había salsa (o salsa de manzana) en la envoltura. La señora discutió diciendo que hay salsa. Ya está mezclado. ¡Pobre! ¡Vagabundo e insípido! Nunca más.

Probamos los envoltorios de ternera y cerdo y no decepcionaron! Prefería el cerdo y a mi amigo le gustaba la carne de res. Los cortamos por la mitad para poder probar los dos. Gran relación calidad-precio para £ 7 cada uno y las porciones eran un montón. Volveré pronto y recomiendo encarecidamente pasar por cuando en Leeds! El mercado es increíble y la Red Alimentaria hizo una gran función : )

A big let down. After seeing this place on a TV programme, decided to go and give it a go. Wish we hadn’t. Location is fantastic, lots of eateries with seating available. The lady serving was very polite so it’s not the staff that let this place down but the main event, the wrap. Ordered the pulled pork. Took a while for my number to be called. Presented nicely, but that was where it ended. The wrap (Yorkshire pudding) lacked any flavour at all, really bland with no seasoning. The filling when you found it was ok, nothing to shout about at all, rather bland. Price is average at £7.00 but I’d rather pay more and have something that tastes nice. Would not return anytime soon.

Called at Leeds market, tried the Slow Cooked Beef Yorkshire Pudding Wrap - big disappointment. The beef appeared to us to be from a tin of braised steak. The pudding was small - not that I was bothered as I didn’t even finish it. The snack left a fatty cheap taste. We won’t be returning.

I visited The Yorkshire Wrap Company on Saturday with a friend and our boys, we wanted to have something good to eat before going watching the Leeds game. We weren’t disappointed. There was a few waiting when we arrived which is always a good sign, it’s right in the middle of Leeds Market and it was bustling with people. The food is absolutely amazing, totally home cooked and presented perfectly. We decided to share four wraps between us, we had a breakfast wrap and roast beef wrap and the boys had a breakfast wrap and a desert wrap to share. It was out of this world and cooked to perfection. We had the pleasure of meeting two servers Sapphire and Claire who were great too, very friendly and welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us. We ordered a couple of Latte’s and two Hot Chocolate’s for the boys who they made a fuss of. They too added to the whole experience. If you’re in Leeds and looking for a warm friendly place serving excellently prepared home cooked food, a proper scran then this place is a little gem right in the middle of Leeds that is not to be missed. Definitely recommend and will certainly visit again.

I heard about this wrap company - a yorkshire pudding filled with tender, slow-cooked beef with red cabbage and horseradish (as much or as little heat as you prefer) and I was not disappointed. The Yorkshire lasses who served me were utterly delightful - Kim and Saphire - and the wrap was absolutely delicious! You don't want to run a marathon after, as it will keep you nicely satisfied for hours, but it was supremely comforting and yummy food! And there's options other than beef. Thanks girls!

Came here on Thursday with my wife and 2 children. We ordered 2 breakfast wraps, 1 beef and 1 pork wrap and what can I say but wow. The staff were helpful and friendly, they took time to ask our children how they was getting on with the dinosaurs trail and we had a right laugh with the blonde lady what a scream she is haha and the food was spot on absolutely enjoyed it all and so did the kids. Will definitely be back.

I went on Thursday and was surprised with the girl on the till she was very polite however when I asked for 1 beef and 1 pork wrap I was snaped at by the woman cooking as she was not ready to do them untill 12. I've been here a few times now and always have great thing to say unfortunately not this time very disappointed.

Did not really know what to expect, but not impressed by what I got. Burnt wrap with a tasteless pork filling, a bit of salt and pepper would probably have helped. I am sure they will please someone with their fair, but not for me, disappointing really as I did was looking forward to it.

Overpriced. Very small for £7.50. Didn’t fill us. Expected to have beef, cabbage and stuffing all inside the wrap which it was but it was all congealed together in a tasteless gravy. Disappointed.

We are in Yorkshire after all, so Yorkshire pudding is a must! Interesting to have beef or pulled pork in a wrap. Excellent fillings. Very tasty. Remember to try the Yorkshire tea for only £1. It was superb!

We came here earlier in the week and it didn’t disappoint. The staff are friendly, it’s affordable and you get a good portion for your money. Hidden gem in my opinion highly recommend

Had what was called a beef yorkshire wrap. Yorkshire burnt. There wasnt any meat inside just a grey meat gloop. This guy cannot cook,all the pics there show nice slices of roast beef but what you get is a few nano particles of overcooked beef in a very poor over thickened with too much flour grey tasteless gloop. Luckily i had my electron microscope in my bag so i could examine the tiny threads of grey, it turns out it likely was bovine in origin although as the specimen was so miniscule i couldn't say with total certainty The grey gloop reminded me of when i last cleaned out my outside drain and there was a build up of grey scum which had taken years to fester Absolutely disgraceful to charge £5.50 for this. Staff miserable aswell.

Have eaten here before and it was alright but don't dare use their seating area when the market is busy unless you wish to incur the wrath of the serving staff. Luckily, after being rudely ejected mid-meal and wandering around a bit the kind people at the Istanbul Bakery next door let us use one of their tables. Those guys are great!

After living in Leeds for nearly 3 year and always wanting to try this place out...I eventually gave in on Sunday and my oh my I was not disappointed! I couldn’t make my mind up if I wanted the pork or the beef so I let the lady decide for me. It was possibly one of the best experiences I have ever had in my mouth! It was everything I hoped for and then some. Staff are funny, friendly and welcoming and the food is incredible. If you don’t try the Yorkshire wrap company then frankly your an idiot 😂

Came for the Yorkshire Pudding Festival and decided to try the wraps! Slow Roast beef with Cabbage, Gravy and Onions. Although there was a bit of a wait the wraps were delicious! I wished I lived closer to sample the other flavours! Super friendly staff!

Ordered a breakfast wrap for the hubby consisting of bacon, egg & sausage rolled up in a flat Yorkshire pudding, he loved it, I settled for a traditional bacon & egg butty with a latte, very pleasant. Plenty of seats adjacent to the many food & drink stalls & the staff were really friendly albeit a little slow, really liked the idea of giving either £1 for a hot drink or £3 for a meal for the next homeless person who ventured through, wonderful community spirit!

Great little local business in the market, lovely friendly staff always up for a bit of banter. Sausage wrap and beef wrap were lovely and hot choc warmed me up despite the grief I got for not having marshmallows and cream from the staff too 😂 Great friendly people and I especially loved the donation board where I was able to buy a meal and a drink for someone less fortunate ... genuine community business which is a change from the corporate chains everywhere!

Is the Yorkshire pudding wrap not meat, roast potatoes and veg not a stodgy lump of beef like baby food very disappointed ☹️

I have been there several times, to try all the different fillings. The breakfast and the beef are amazing and the Nutella one really hits the spot. I love the donation system for homeless people as well, great community spirit. Strongly recommend it.
