Last day in London, last meal in London. I found absolutely the best fish and chips of the trip here! Big piece of fish. Very tender and mild. The batter was perfect. The most amazing thing was that it was not greasy at all. I would love to know the chef's recipe. The place was packed, especially in the garden. We started not to stay, but we were assured that most people were drinking and the food would come out quickly. It did come out in a reasonable time. The staff was very friendly, helpful and very attentive. I will definitely be back here !

Insanely busy when we visited but still didn't take too long to get a drink. Good pub.

Always love visiting this pub when we go to Manzes beforehand. This time round, noticed a lot of tables reserved and it was extremely busy, Friday at 5pm so understandable, but therefore didn't stay too long as not much room. But if you get there earlier, the beer garden is one of the best.

Great pub attracting lots of people after work, super nice staff and vibes. I wish they could let in more sunshine in the beer garden in summer months tho (retracting the tent?), but that doesn’t stop it being a great place for pints

Not a bad pub at all. The atmosphere is really good. It's got a lot of personality. Decent amount of beers and ales on tap doesn't smell as bad as it used to and fantastic location. Highly recommended especially for after work drinks or hanging out on a Sunday

Sat in the back open air area. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect. The staff was friendly. And it's close the the Tower Bridge.

Gran jardín de cerveza y un excelente servicio, especialmente por María. Siempre atentos cuando nuestros vasos estaban vacíos y asegurando una pinta llena en nuestra mesa en todo momento.

Buena comida, buen ambiente, buena selección de cerveza (para Londres) el servicio especialmente de María era de primera categoría, me gustaría ir de nuevo.

Sunday Roast! We had a delicious Sunday roast and beer at this cosy Southwark pub on Bermondsey Street, behind London Bridge. The belly pork was cooked beatifully and the Yorkshire pudding was excellent. We thought the meat portion was a little light on but otherwise it was reasonable value for London! The service was excellent - but so it should be at 12.5% of your bill!!

Tuvimos un delicioso domingo asado y cerveza en este acogedor pub de Southwark en Bermondsey Street, detrás del Puente de Londres. El cerdo del vientre estaba bien cocinado y el pudín Yorkshire era excelente. Pensamos que la porción de carne estaba un poco encendida, pero por lo demás era un valor razonable para Londres! El servicio era excelente - pero así debería ser a las 12. ¡El 5% de su factura!

I had a lovely time at The Woolpack, where the welcoming atmosphere, great selection of drinks and food made for an enjoyable visit. Margot was particularly attentive and went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel really well looked after. Her friendly and helpful approach added to the experience, and I’ll definitely be returning soon.

So I have lived here for 7 years but didn’t realise how sensational Friday nights could be. Music was so on point and got me in the mood for the weekend.

I don't often write reviews, but we had such a lovely lunch here today that I felt compelled to write one. Two of us had a window seat to watch the world go by, a bottle of wine and the mist delicious ham egg a chips. The secret apparently is that they cook the ham on site. for such a simple dish, it was top notch. By far the friendliest, most attentive service I have had in a long time. Thank you

This is my favorite pub in London, beers and food are amazing and there is a covered garden at the back, perfect when it is raining. For winter they also have external heater.

Flat asahai served to me despite pointing out it was flat. He then pretended to serve me a fresh one and was same flat beer. Walked outside to garden and someone even said avoid the asahi as it’s flat. Walked back spoke to manager and got fobbed off.. AVOID. Edit… No. My voice was raised due to the noise, there was zero aggression and when the chap said my voice was loud, I apologised as I didn’t realise he could hear me and lowered my voice. The same chap then walked off uninterested when I didn’t accept another flat beer as resolution so I left, not what I would deem aggressive behaviour.

We had a few drinks in one of the more private outdoor areas. It had a heat lamp and kept us warm

Big fan of this pub the music was awful on Saturday night and we didn't even stay for one drink because of it.

Have been here a few times at Christmas time to celebrate with friends and it’s always such a lovely experience. The food is always great and the atmosphere is vibey but the standout is the staff, they are all so helpful and friendly, special shout out to Alex for being the best!

We were on table 30 a party of six, Mia was our waitress and she was wonderful and attentive five stars for Mia.

We hired the Renaissance room for a work event. Great communication before the event, night went really well, food was great and service for our bar tab was fantastic. Couldn’t recommend enough.

Un lugar fabuloso justo en el corazón de Bermondsey Street. Fuimos a tomar bebidas antes del almuerzo antes de nuestra fiesta de Navidad en un restaurante cercano que funcionó perfectamente. Un ambiente maravilloso, especialmente en Navidad, y el personal era eficiente y acogedor.

Did the Woolpack on Friday night, Great Beers and what a bar and outside area. We were def the oldest ones there, great vibe and friendly.

We used The Woolpack for our work Christmas party last Thursday, hiring the function room upstairs. It was excellent, a decent sized room, which created a great atmosphere for around 40 people. The food was great and we had Alex looking after us and providing bespoke drinks, he was superb - friendly, attentive and professional. A wonderful evening and we would definitely recommend.

Really cool place but sometimes at lunch the wait for food is over 45 minutes… it’s also not your average pub prices for everyday lunch if you work or live nearby. The beer garden is decent sized and lots of people come to this place at all times. Would recommend for catching up with friends and colleagues.

Really lovely for a festive drink or cosy meal. Thé fairy lights, warm toned lighting and Christmas decorations made for a lovely setting no to catch up with an old friend. The service overall was friendly and attentive. Dan in particular gave a warm welcome that was really appreciated.

Always buzzy but never a queue at the bar. Our default stop in the area. Tardis like back garden with covers and heaters out back. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for. Grab a Scotch Egg if you're lucky enough to be in before they're all gone!
