The food AND service was SO good. We got the burgers and they were juicy and very well seasoned, and it was the best coleslaw I’ve ever had! We got served immediately and got checked up on during and after eating. (which I find rare in the UK) I highly recommend coming here for a bite!

I found myself eating at this fine establishment the other day and must say what an amazing time I had. It was recommend by friends and I’ll definitely be recommending it to more. Today we’ve been to The Woolpack, I tried several dishes, but unfortunately, none stood out or justified the price tag. I ordered the fried squid, which turned out to be quite oily. It was served with mayonnaise, a pairing that didn't enhance the dish. Some lemon or maybe even more chili sauce could have brought much-needed brightness to the flavors. We also tried the bruschetta with mozzarella. It was just okay—nothing memorable or exciting. Additionally, we had some prawns, which, like the rest of the meal, were pretty average. For the price we paid, I expected more. In conclusion, everything was underwhelming and didn't leave a lasting impression. I don't see myself returning to Woolpack, at least not for the food.

Fab place for drinking with friends/family. Great table service. No having to get up to go to the bar.

Awesome back patio space. Service was fantastic, server (David) was great and offered recommendations for things to do and his beer rec was awesome. Food was tasty. Husband and I had fish and chips and the kids got a burger. Both were great.

J'adore ! Le personnel est super sympa, tout le monde est décontracté, la clientèle est sympa. J'y vais tous les soir (ou presque) y boire une bière. A faire absolument, prendre son temps, discuter avec les gens, l'ambiance est au top, la déco sympa, et la cour ou l'on peut se poser pour prendre une bière ou déguster un plat simple mais bon. J'y vais et j'y retournerai. A faire !

We scheduled a "Sunday Roast" meal based on the recommendation of our Airbnb host and could not have been more pleased. The food was exceptional and our waiter/service was very enjoyable. He spent time asking us about where we were visiting from, what we were doing during our stay, etc. The atmosphere had a laid back/neighborhood pub feel. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Does not allow children - even babies!!! Friend travelled an hour for an event here and wasn’t let in because she had a child.

We were looking for a Sunday Roast Beef dinner. Just happened to walk in prepared to order something else but they had the roast beef. It was excellent. Our server was Mia who was quite attentive. I like this place. Next time I come the UK, I’m coming here adai !

As a local to this pub I was excited to host my birthday lunch here, and was in conversation with the team (Daniela) to host 23 people for a Sunday roast in their private upstairs room, having really enjoyed the food here previously. Unfortunately after agreeing a price and chasing for the confirmation it transpired the team had given the space to someone else, claimed their email telling me hadn’t sent due to a ‘technical error’ and offering no real solution or genuine apology, or reply to my email asking for a proper explanation. Disappointing and not great customer service at all. Avoid this place completely if you’re looking for an event space or to host a big group.

Delicious Sunday roast with choice of beef, chicken or vegan option with a good selection of cask and keg beer. The beer garden is spacious and nice. Only wish is that they had roast potatoes instead of mashed potato’s.

Usually come here most week but have returned after a while away. Don’t know what happened today but everything was terrible. Waited over and hour for the food. When it arrived there was barely any chips, they were stale and cold like they’d been microwaved about 3 times. They gave me what looked half a piece of chicken and no steak knife either. Not happy at all.

I recently visited The Woolpack on Bermondsey Street and had a fantastic experience! The pub has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with a great selection of drinks and delicious food. What made my visit truly exceptional was the service provided by Marcy. She was incredibly helpful and attentive, making sure that everything was perfect during my time there. Marcy went above and beyond to ensure that my friends and I had a great experience, offering excellent recommendations and always with a friendly smile. The Woolpack is now one of my favorite spots in Bermondsey, thanks to its wonderful ambiance and Marcy’s outstanding service. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

It's become the after work pub for our company. Usually in there on Thursdays but it's fairly efficient behind the bar. Limiting the bar area from which you will be served is a good idea. Partially covered garden area great when it's a bit moist.

Forgot to book a table for the euros, but they allowed walk ins. They were very accommodating. Had a great afternoon with great table service. Short wait at the bar and very attentive staff

Solid choice for a meal. You are required to order and pay at the bar, so service isn't great. The food was good, especially the salad. Fish and chips not as good. Fish was overcooked and almost burnt.

The Woolpack is our local watering hole in Bermondsey! I always love the atmosphere when we walk into the pub, super friendly staff and lovely drinks at great prices! As we come here most weeks for post-work drinks, we love the welcome we receive from everyone - would recommend to anyone who wants to grab a nice cold pint in the beer garden out the back!

Great set up for live sports in the garden. Plenty of screens; areas that have the option for overhead cover and heaters if the summer weather isn't playing ball; and a pubby selection of drinks and snacks. To reserve a table you need to pay a deposit but it's worth planning ahead for a good spot.

Went here for a Sunday roast - my wife really enjoyed the vegan cheddar mushroom and spinach wellington! Staff went out of their way to accommodate the kids and we will definitely be returning!

Great atmosphere in the beer garden,staff were great and could even order and pay from the garden. Good choice of local beers. So why not 5 stars? Charging between £8.20-£8.60 a pint is just crazy. I don't care that that's 'the going local rate' because it's completely unacceptable and greedy.

Some say there are eight wonders of the world. But let me tell you there are nine and this place is one of them. I would imagine that The hanging gardens of Babylon paled in comparison. Did they serve Guinness in the Hanging Gardens of Babylon? No, probably not. Did they show football? No, don't be silly Television hadn't been invented. Do any of the other wonders of the world sell pints I hear you ask? No. Because they are cowards. But the Woolpack does. The Woolpack is a place of wonder, full of strong righteous people, here to serve the working man after a long day and leave them refreshed and full of larger. 8 out of 10

We were in London during the Champions League final and were recommended to go to this bar. It certainly didn’t disappoint us with it’s nice food and great atmosphere. Their terrace is fantastic and the waitress that served us, Mia, was a total delight. She was quick, very professional and helped us picking up the right food and beer choice! If I ever have the chance to go back to London I’ll sure stop by again.

Came here as a large group for a team event post workshop and enjoyed our large table with personalised service from the lovely staff David, Amelia, Maria who went out of their way to find some non alcoholic options for me. The rest of those imbibing alcoholic beverages also had a great time. Thank you!

Visited on a night in London recently and really liked this pub. Great selection of beers. Good music. The beer garden was particularly good as well. Although we didn’t eat the food looked very good too.

Terrible food, I would stick to beers in the garden which is super nice. Burgers are a joke, wetherspoon quality for premium price.

Very nice Pub with nice people and good drinks

I visited this pub earlier today and had a good experience. Sia, one of the staff members, was very helpful and attentive. It's a nice spot to grab an Aperol Spritz to kick off the summer. Worth a visit.

My best friend had her wedding reception in the back garden after being regulars for years. As maid on honour it was my responsibility to make sure all went smooth. When we arrived there was a whole private bar setup with Charlie (fantastic staff member) seeing to all our needs. We had a big (40ish) group with cake cutting and constant booze to be added. The staff and management could not have been more accommodating, friendly and attentive!!! We love Woolpack!
