I love coming here time and time again. The staff are fantastic and the food is great and very well priced. (the steak pie, mac & cheese and the sticky toffee pudding are my regulars) My favourite pub in Glasgow, always enjoy the times there. The karaoke looks fun and there's regular poker nights organised as well.

Nice place and my American bully XL penny was spoiled rotten by the bar staff Susan and the other barmaid Toni absolutely loves my xl bully Penny and penny adores her just as much as toni adores her, paul shevlan who owns the woody is really nice and the special on offer is always amazing, the chicken pie mash and veg was banging but wow if i had to recommend anything it would have to be the fish and chips wow now yer talking, ive only had fish as nice as this at Saltcoats/ayr or Edinburgh but never in Glasgow so instead of travelling to Edinburgh for a lovely haddock supper( none of the whiting rubbish you get in Glasgow) we only need to walk for 5min and we are there and its always served rapidly, compliments to the chef,penny got a big bowl of fresh cold water and even got doggie treats! Had a lovely afternoon in Woodside for lunch with friends. Food was delicious. Was made to feel so welcome by bar staff and friendly customers. Also met Paul the owner and his mum who were great company. Many thanks from the girls from Falkirk and Mayo and hopefully we will be back. Thank you and best wishes!

First time in for food...very nice and not too busy..The lady who served us couldn't have been nicer..and customers don't have to pay until the meals done..I don't like this having to pay up front...We'll be back..😋😋😋

I was in for a funeral but I didn't let that dampen my day. Place was buzzing with nice bunch of regulars. I need to go back one night and see how it is.

Didn't have food ,met with 2 old school friends 1st time in almost 50 year ,.nice atmosphere in here with staff going above & beyond very pleasant & bringing our drinks over to table for us ,,will definately be back 😊

First time being in here. It was a Friday night and we went in after being to Firhill stadium. Place was jumping, very busy but we still managed to get seats. Prices were brilliant, staff excellent and the the locals very welcoming.

Went for a drink before the Thistle vs Arbroath tie. Even before I made it inside the door, I was greeted with friendly curiosity by a couple of locals, wondering why I had travelled from Yorkshire for the game. Good lads. Once inside, the place was packed and the folks I met were spot on, looking forward to going back some day

Had lunch today, was excellent! Barmaid was absolutely lovely and nothing was too much bother. Shes a credit to the pub!

Well kept, friendly, wheel chair access easy. Food is available. Karaoke. Frequented by sports fans due to it's location to Firhill (Partick Thistle FC). Large screens for events all over the bar. Be early on International match days as this place reaches its capacity fairly quickly.

Lovely pub, lovely staff, quick service. Offering the best experience they can under covid level 3 restrictions, and a damn fine job they are doing too. Big shout out to the barmaid who seved us Sat night, superb job. Made an Englander feel very welcome!

This is one amazing place! We got in on a terribly rainy Saturday and we were wormly welcomed! The food menu had just enough options so that was perfect for not getting lost between options. The burgers and fries were sublime! I just cannot believe that they were so juicy and full of flavour! We also had Mac and Cheese - it was amazing, it is just what I imagined for a meal like that. The atmosphere was very cozy and home-like so it was definitely a wonderful experience. Everyone we talked to was very polite and just very kind! Loved this place, and absolutely visiting it again!

Been visiting the woodside inn restaurant for a few times now with my family for the past few weeks. I had the Italian lasagne with garlic bread with glass of red earlier today (a meal wasn't on menu but written on a blackboard on the wall) Was lovely. Class. Also stayed for a while or a quiet drink. Would defintely come here for a meal in the future. ☺👍🍴🍝🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The service was excellent. Fish was the freshest I have had in a very long time.

One of my favorite pubs in Glasgow, decent inexpensive food great staff, and a good atmosphere after the game, win lose or draw.

This pub is great because it is the local for Partick Thistle and I am a fan which visits regularly.

Very weak 3 almost a 2 cleaner needs to up their game in the bar can't fault the toilets barman was very efficient and welcoming.

An extremely welcoming establishment with a vast selection behind the bar. Serves hearty food that is traditional & great value (two main meals for £12). Warm and friendly staff and a plethora of characters in its clientele. A cracking pub and a definite must visit! 10/10
