The Woodman Arms in Redcar and Cleveland

Passed this place many a time when we lived on Eston High Street and never been in! Being early in the day it was pretty sparse for customers but the ale was good and they were giving wetherspoons a run for the money on pricing. Left after a few hours. On calling in about three hours later ( to use the loo) it was warm and inviting and almost full, it was a revelation, wished I'd gone in years ago.

Had a great couple of hours with old friends. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff. Excellent prices. Definitely recommend the Woodman

I usually use the bar , Weekends they have a set routine Saturday is disco ish night , Sunday is karaoke night. TV,s through out the pub with all sports on !. Monday is special price day, Staff warm and friendly.

Is a pretty decent pub however went in there tonight on pretty much one of there busiest days of the year and complete chocker block almost like when I stepped in there covid never existed, no restrictions whatsoever even the staff weren't like wearing masks or anything and no punter restrictions or covid app checks or nothing pretty honest but I wouldn't be surprised if I catch covid from this.

Just your local pub, friendly clean decent beer and decent prices.

Friendly welcoming well mannered staff . Need to deal with aggressive people who bother genuine visitors need to ask the aggressor to leave the premises

The ladies toilets are a disgrace. Water coming out of the base of one toilet and no seat on the other. Toilet roll holders have been ripped off the walls. I complained and they said the glass collector would have a look! The only good thing going for this pub is the music and the fact that's theres no competion

A decent pub , with a couple of bouncers to stop any trouble happening.

A bar serving it's local communty - plus a few odd travellers such as myself. Friendly clientele and staff. Normal range of lagers, beers, spirits. Handy for the bus home (bus stop outside it's fron door).

It was ok, very full after the Boro game. So I left a bit earlier than I would normally left, but everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves

decent pub with a half decent pint. fairly quiet during the week but get busy from Thursday. Nice atmosphere and a really nice smoking area.

I've been in here twice. Both times I waited too long at the bar to be served. As a licence holder having ran public houses I did not feel comfortable in the Woodmans. Twice in there and I saw 4 fights. Not somewhere I would recommend or take my Dad in for a drink.

It was an old village / street pub which has been extended to cater for weekend revellers , it has Tv's in lounge and Bar area's and serves food and cocktails and keeps a good section of wines Beers and spirits . There is public parking at the rear of building and you can get wheelchair access via the side door from the carpark but help would be needed with opening doors....access from the front enterance on the high street is limited as the doorway is very narrow. because of the access i would only give this a 3 star otherwise it is a nice quaint public house

A little dated but still one of the better pubs in the area.
