Munchies Eston in Redcar and Cleveland

This has got to be one of the best Parmos I've had. They deserve the No1 spot in my books. Not only was the chicken parmo cooked perfectly the white sauce was just the best. The fries were amazing too. We also got a pizza to try and the dough was soft and fluffy and nothing was overly greasy either which is very good. The gentlemen that served us (sorry didn't get his name) had top customer service and was polite with us. The cost was a little more than we normally spend but I would happily pay that extra for food this good well worth it. We will certainly be back again.

Wow, we came to Munchies after seeing Kyles Review as we are not local to the area and we were not disappointed. Fabulous service, helpful, offtered us a taster of the real chips. Explained what was in the kebab calzone and we placed our order. 40 minute trip home and could not eat all the food we got. The parmo with real chips was the best i've ever had and the calzone pizzas were amazing, not greasy and full of meat. Thanks very much, the food was great and we would definitely recommend you to friends and family

Was staying in the area, so was looking for some nice scran after just walking 8 mile up Roseberry topping. Come across munchies on Facebook and looked unreal, thought we would order through their app because it was cheaper than Justeat. We ordered Donner Calzone with homemade chips, Parmo with homemade chips and a cheesy garlic bread. Calzone pizza was unreal donner was perfection, parmo was next level cheese and bech sauce was mint. Best pizza shop been to, topped it off with homemade chips. Can not fault the place, service was top notch so friendly. Thankyou again, will deffo be returning when in the area or even worth the drive to come back.

First time trying after reading a few good reviews. Calzone nice maybe a little more meat inside? chunky chips ok but unfortunately the parmo looked and tasted terrible undercooked thin too much sauce and cheese needed to be under grill longer very disappointing!!!

Grabbed a calzone with handcut chips tonight; great tasting, generous portion size and excellent handcut chips to go with it. Piping hot and on time in terms of order time. Spoke with the owner, spot on bloke, friendly and generous. I've not been to the store for a while but we will be returning very shortly again based on tonight's food! Too tier 👌

Orderd a munch box with chicken pizza, pizza was uncooked with no chicken It should of had donner meat no donner meat either the parmo looked like a burnt chicken nugget also order a waffle that was rock hard over all total disappointment £25 down the drain still hungry and very much pissed off to say the least I did ask twice to repeat my order which they did so how it can be delivered wrong I don't understand at all but there ok taking the money Total piss take

I ordered a waffle with ice cream. Waffle was ordered with ferrero sauce and i got white chocolate. For £3.50 it was not worth it. I ordered ferrero ice cream and when i tasted it it tasted like playdoh and did not resemble ice cream whatsoever. I do not recommend the desserts.

Ordered for delivery took over an hour to get here when arrived food was cold garlic sauce was runny and parmo was overcooked and chewy and drenched with bechamel sauce.chips were also cold.would not go back.

Mixed bag - staff are very friendly, kebabs are very tasty and well worth having but the pizza was pretty mediocre - definitely recommend the chicken kebabs though.

Owner needs a course in customer service as his skills are zero.cant fault the food but when my order was very late he was adamant it had been delivered but no one was in ...when challenged he said I was a liar...checked security system no one had been anywhere near my house for hours...they re- delivered then asked for extra delivery money. Chips were missing in the end too and at £3.75 a portion too ..my family and friend all use them too but they have lost our custom from now on ...Good bye ! We will spend our money where it is deserved in future.

Travelled 100 miles for the best parmo I've ever eaten. Food was amazing, they went out of their way to accommodate us and did a half/half. Every single person working was lovely. Kitchen was clean and very well organised. 10/10 will travel again for more!

I've ordered from munchies a few times now and theyve not got one thing wrong and always been a reasonable time for delivery. Food is always hot and the hot shot parmos and home made chunky chips are unreal. Had the mixed kebab boxes from there too, they never miss. Would definitely recommend

As a regular user of the shop I have always enjoyed my food but today all my food was cold , and the hand cooked chips were not cooked very well it has put me off ordering again.

If you are hungry, don't order from here you might be waiting a while. Normally really good, was my go to but ordered a standard pizza on its own and took 1 hour and a half, 2 days on the bounce have had the same experience

Received our takeaway this evening driver was sat outside the house with music blasting for ages before coming to the door food took a long time to arrive but understand that with been a Saturday food was absolutely freezing and had been sweating in the boxes for ages by the looks of it very poor quality and waste of money wouldn’t recommend

Milkshake tasted more like garlic with a bit off wipped cream and choclate bar, the cookie dough was literally a cookie that’s been put in a microwave, was burnt and stuck to the paper

Always excellent food and service from Munchies. My favourite is the Crispy Chicken Wrap with hand cut chips and, now that's its bogof on a Thursday, I frequently order. Always a deal to be had through the week and if ordering from their app its 10% off too!

Ordered a parmo last night came to me cold and burnt I’m giving up on this place now they never get it right

Ordered at 10:45pm and food wasn't delivered until 12:35am. Shop closed at 12am so we couldn't call to check on whether it was actually coming. Rang and got connected to someone who was at home and said it wasn't coming. Ordered food elsewhere and then ten minutes later the food arrived luke-warm.

Ordered food an hour before the store closed, after 1 hour 50 minutes waiting we called the takeaway which had since closed getting no answer. Contacted the driver via Foodhub and was told they didnt get my food, then another driver delivered stone cold food after 2 hours, and the food was average at best even if warm

One of the best (if not the best) takeaway in the north east, the range of food to choose from is very generous and surprising, the quality is pretty good as well - some things are more greasy than others. The desserts taste amazing which is unexpected as when it comes to pizza shops, they aren’t usually know for desserts. Overall would and have recommended to others and the delivery time is reasonable. Will order from here again!

Food doesn't look the same in person as it does on the website the pictures show proper chips then wen u open box it's frozen chips still quite raw a big let down for me parmo wasn't great either 🤮

Well what can I say I ordered 2 munch boxes 1 with popcorn chicken, parmo and pizza and tikka chicken the other with chips instead of pop corn chicken, after our first order turned up cold and phoned and they resent it reluctantly and said it would be here within 15 mins it finally turned 35 mins later and it was still the same cold not enough chips the pizza,parmo and the chicken tikka just didn't taste right also the garlic sauce was sour I definitely won't be ordering from here again

Very disappointed ordered over £20 worth of food the wrap and chips were tiny and cold the cheese in the wrap was not even melted it was that cold! The pizza was also cold and must have been for some time as you could pick the cheese off with all the toppings. Have photos but can not upload but would not recommend and definitely will never use again. AVOID.

£10 for half a parmo , was like mush threw it in the bin, never again.

We took advantage of the weekend offer of BOGOF with a chicken tikka wrap and both were delicious! Will glady order that again, and delivered in good time. When Munchies is good... it's real good!

The last few weeks ,food hasn't been upto their usual standard chips not cooked enough ,food warm etc ,ordered again tonight, chips where very undercooked and hard ,kebab meat was missing from burgers which we paid extra for ,only good thing was the friendly delivery driver, definitely won't be back after tonight's food ..
