Fatso's Redcar in Redcar and Cleveland

Hygiene issue. Very doggy, which is fine, but the thing I massively disagree with is allowing dogs to sit on seats with their bare bums on the seats, and this is happening here. Where I’m sat now is probably contaminated. This isn’t right in this day and age where there is great concern over hygiene ratings.

the chips were small portion didn't even fill the bread buns.

We were staying in the area looking for a dog friendly place to eat that also had vegan options. Rang ahead and was able to book to eat in bar area. When we arrived we we were given a very warm welcome. The waiter could not have been more helpful including sorting out a vegan meal for me which was delicious. The gentleman who I assume was the owner made us feel like valued customers and was passionate about the business. We had a lovely evening the food was great value for money and it was very dog friendly. Recommended

The lady on the till is always so pleasant. The food here is always spot on, and portions are generous. Food comes in trays I do wish it was just old fashioned bag and wrapped in paper just tastes better I reckon. Anyway fish is stunning, batter amazing. Can't go wrong at this chippy for me.
