Ladies and gents and all family members xx this place is lovely clean and on the ball The chef omg yes his hands are like magic - I was there as a group of many and I’m so particular over how my steaks are cooked and my eggs xx wow this chef made my meals I ordered to perfection and I can not fault at all the service and the clean up of the plates and those friendly smiles and chats with staff - when I’m back at Redcar I will be back for my perfect served steak and eggs I GOT EXACTLY WHAT I NEEDED for my meals and I will shout their name loud to anyone who can hear me

A few more items on the set menu perhaps? The wine club not clear which wines available on and why not fizz on a Thursday too?

Went for a birthday lunch. Unfortunately, the waitress was very rude and miserable. We ordered a mixed grill and chicken salad, food was OK but nothing special. We had to ask at the bar how much longer it would be after we had waited over half hour, despite the place being empty. It's a shame about the poor quality service and unfriendly staff as the pub itself is quite nice, but if you want a friendly atmosphere and a quick meal, I would go else where.

Tried to use the 25% off for drinks but were informed you have to spend £10 for the offer, which I said was not in the Ts&C's. Ordered surf and turf for one of the meals and it just came out as steak. This was corrected as the manager brought over the prawns to go with the steak, but said that it hadn't been put through the till as it should have been. Other than that, very nice meal.

My recent dining experience at Turners Mill was nothing short of exceptional. The culinary talents of chefs Earl and Dan truly shone through in every dish. The flavours were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted and promptly seated. Jessica, our server, was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, offering excellent recommendations. Her friendly demeanour and professionalism added a personal touch to our evening. The ambiance of Turners Mill is both cozy and sophisticated, making it the perfect setting for a memorable meal. I highly recommend Turners Mill to anyone looking for outstanding food and superb service. We will definitely be returning thank you Jessica, Earl and Dan!

I asked the manager Rachael for a whiskey sours they don’t do it, however when I come back she surprised me with one, she went out of her way to do that and it was perfect such a kind gesture from a great team

Came for 2 mains 2 desserts few drinks spent 60 ish staff friendly and funny as always pic of afters as it hit the spot

Not quite as good as the Ember Inns that we use at Durham, I stood at an unattended bar for 3 or 4 minutes whilst at least 4 staff were chatting in the kitchen, ordered a surf and turf for the wife most of which was absolutely fine however the steak was extremely thick so in an attempt to cook it to medium rare the outside was over cooked whilst the centre was only cooked to blue/rare. The mixed grill for myself was passable however it did have the tomato on that I requested not to have and the sausages were certainly not the same as as those served in Durham.

Use turners mill regularly, service,staff,and food always lovely, had the hunters chicken schnitzel, was absolutely gorgeous, 10 out of 10

I ordered the Grilled Fillets of Sea Bass. It was excellent and very tasty. The best meal I have ever had in this pub. I will have it again. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the excellent service and keep up the good work..

I have been here twice now and both times the food has let you down. Tonight my husband had the Shepherd Pie for £13.29, I assure you it was not worth that. The dish with the Shepherd Pie was half empty and the side of greens was a splash of spinach. This is not worth the amount you are selling it for. My son had the fish and chips and as he does not like mushy peas, I asked for some extra chips that did not happen. Once again we have gone to Sainsbury next to your pub to buy more food as my son and husband are still hungry. This is very disappointing.

Well what can I say, absolutely amazing service. I booked a table whilst in Redcar arrived half an hour earlier than the booking, they moved us to a different table immediately as ours was full. Ordered a starter which was fantastic, the main ultimate burger which we had was sensational and the desert was to die for. Not often do I tip a waiter but by heck he deserved it. Top notch service and a tip of the hat to the chef. Keep ip the good work we will be back for round two.

Called in with our 2 dogs, made very welcome, food was gorgeous, and there was loads of room for our dogs to relax , will be back to stuff our face's again soon, have a good day everyone 😀 😊

I was there last week at a wake, for a close friend. The spread they put on was lovely and plenty of food. Staff were friendly.

Attended as a party of around 30 for a funeral, food was put out in the form of a buffet and it was to a really high standard. Pub itself is nice and clean and generally has a nice atmosphere. No complaints.

It was our first time here and we will definitely be coming back I thought the food and service were top notch

Lovely pub for lunch. Usually, we go on a Saturday and always get a table. Would probably recommend booking in advance if you want to go on a special occasion if its Christmas or Easter just to be sure. Lovely pub food, not too expensive. Nice decor, staff very pleasant. Service can be a bit slow if busy. Seats outside if the weather is good.

This was fine. Quite cheap with polite service. Food was alright but nothing to get excited about. Quite crowded. Dogs allowed - which was nice🙂

Thank you all for making the evening special, busy when we entered group of lads sat at our reserved table, they moved without an issue. Table cleared immediately, bit of an issue with our order for 5, easily sorted. Food great value for money and good quality. Can't wait for my next visit.

Generally a lovely pub. Went for a meal with the family and it was absolutley packed to the rafters. Moving around the place was uncomfortable. Service was good to start with as we ordered using the handy app while seated. The bar was packed so thankful for that. First orders came out then service got worse probably due to how busy it was. Main course took an age to come and kids meals which you expect to come out ASAP took forever. Been at quieter times and it's much better so didn't want to bash too hard.

Booked at table for Sunday Lunch arrived to find they had ran out of. The meals we ordered were below par to say the least very disappointed will not be back.

Great place for a Sunday dinner went with wife and daughter. Really nice inside plenty of tables and space. Great staff very polite and professional big thank you to Jessica for looking after us and making us feel welcome the chefs we had where Earl and Phoebe. Food served quickly and hot really nice food highly recommended really nice will be back for sure. Visited for lunch. Recommend the Salt and Pepper Calamari and Posh Fish and Chips. 2 sea bass fillets were delicious thank you Chef Richie. Warm friendly environment. Excellent service as usual.

Thus place is the Mutts Nuts. You can't fault the staff apart from the Red headed one she os a bit loud at times. Lol Moo ( daddys medical support dog)

We had an absolute brilliant time. The place was really laid back and was ideal for our Sunday lunch. I was with my parents and they loved the ambience. The food was top notch too. But the cherry on the top was the service. The staff was friendly and efficient. Would definitely go again.

Great food friendly staff and made to feel really welcome

I recently visited The Turners Mill for lunch and I wanted to express how pleased I was with my experience. I am very paticular with my food and I must say that Rachel went above and beyond! The food was phenomenal and Rachel had a word with the staff in the kitchen to modify my meal - thank you so much the chicken breat was cooked really well! One of my friends had a vegetarian meal which they really enjoyed too. We will definately be back! Thank you again to Rachel and the team - I would highly recommend if you are in the area!

Every time we go in, we’re greeted by Rachel and her great, friendly staff. There’s a wide range of food and drinks too with plenty of offers available. Definitely a favourite and now they’re dog friendly it’s even better!!

Go here regularly, good choice of food with special offers on certain nights, it's very popular so sometimes struggle to get a table, best to book to avoid disappointment, lovely staff, quick and efficient.

Great pub, caters for all wether it’s a Sunday roast, a mid week meal and a pint, or even a vegan meal. Can see the manager Rachel has this place running exactly how it should be ran, one of the reasons we go there as it a great team that work under a good manager.

Nice lunch and drinks on Christmas Eve

Lovely atmosphere (apart for a dog barking - however we were sat in the dog section - which we didn't know) drinks, food and staff very helpful and friendly

Aric was an amazing server, brought my food and drinks with a smile, when we asked for his name, he said aric. Such a lovely and respectful lad. Need a raise!!!

We arrived and we were told that we had 30minutes to order as the kitchen was closing early. We were not told this before arriving as I would not have attended. The staff seemed rude and not very helpful. I arranged to have the festive menu but was told I did not even though I did. There was a limited menu and the staff were not attentful, slow and miserable service

Although a table was booked for 4 as a Christmas celebration, we were put at a bar table and when attempting to order the advertised Christmas meal was informed that it was "out of stock" . This was 12th December! Did not stay, moved on elsewhere. Nobody noticed our departure.

Festive meal with friends, lovely food ,3 course for under £20, waiting on staff really pleasant and attentive, great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Had the slow cooked rib of beef from the new menu and can honestly say it was the best meal I have had Arik and Alison provided fantastic service But the meal that chefs Phoebe & Earl produced was delicious Cabbage,leeks, peas, fresh roasted root vegetables all complimented the beef & potatoes gratin

We both had the Shepherds Pie off the new menu today and it was lovely. We would definitely have it again and it's a welcome addition to the menu. Please keep it on forever 😋. My Husband would have preferred some butter on the steamed green veg which came with it but the Head Chef explained that some new glazes were on their way which could be added. We're looking forward to trying them when they arrive. Allison was her usual happy and helpful self and Earl John-Lewis was amazing as Head Chef. Great team and great local pub for us.

Our visit was brilliant and the staff are so kind and friendly. We had a meal and drinks and was a brilliant price. The food was delicious, and the best part of it is that dogs are welcome which was a bit benefit to us. We highly recommend you take a visit if you are travelling local or making a weekly visit to Yorkshire! 🐾😊
