What a lovely little cafe, beautifully decorated, the staff were lovely, and our food was lovely too, will definitely call again, as want to try the cakes, they looked amazing 😍

Shared an afternoon tea - which was absolutely plentiful for two and good value. It all tasted very nice and was well presented. I will definitely visit again when I am next in the area. I would advise people to book.

I brought my Mother in law for afternoon tea as it was her birthday. I was accompanied by my daughter. I booked this 6 weeks in advance. I have been before last year and that is the reason I returned here rather than go elsewhere. I was extremely disappointed in the choice provided. Part of the offering was a large dish of salad that didn't complement the rest of the food - 3 tiny rolls each ( previously these were sandwiches) a scone with cream and jam each. A slice of chocolate sponge - not fancy and a flapjack each. There was also a dish of crisps. There were no other savouries - no choice of cake - my motherin law does not eat chocolate cake. The quality was great but the choice extremely poor. I emailed them on return on 15th July but to date had no response

Popped into the Wonky Teapot and was delighted by the food, service and beautiful surroundings. My husband and I had a cream tea which was warm scones, jam, clotted cream, strawberries and a lovely pot of tea each. My four year old granddaughter asked for a ham sandwich and a squash.It arrived on a lovely platter with chunks of cucumber and cheesy snack. Her squash was served in a fancy bottle which she loved. It made her feel special. The ladies that served us made us feel very welcome, thank you. We will definitely be returning.

I booked myself and my dad an afternoon tea here. First of all, I have to say this is the best customer service I have received in years. The two ladies working were lovely and went out of their way to make ourselves comfortable and happy, cleaned an outside table without us asking, moved us outside, got an extra table, food brought quickly, excellent manners and very kind and understanding. Secondly, the food was delicious and there was tonnes of it! We couldn't eat it all (despite trying!). We got two massive slices of cake, flapjack, scones with cream and jam, mini cobs, sausage rolls, crisps, juice and tea, fresh salad (yum) and fruit (yum yum). Pretty exceptional visit and I would recommend.

Family gathering and lunch. We met for lunch at the Wonky Teapot the tea room is very pretty, decorated with a pink flower wall and fresh flowers on all the tables, the service was prompt and friendly and nothing was to much trouble even adding and taking away items on the sandwich menu to personal preference. All of us really enjoyed the freshest sandwiches served with a delicious side salad and crisps. We stayed for several drinks as there was a warm and welcoming atmosphere we had thick creamy milkshakes, teas and the best coffees. The selection of cakes were difficult to choose from so we picked three different flavours of cupcake,brownie a slice of Victoria sponge. We took away some home made sausage rolls which were beautiful. We will definitely revisit.

My sister in law was visiting from Finland and wanted to try typical English afternoon tea. Took her to the Wonkey Teapot and it was lovely. Ellie and the team made us feel very welcome, food was delicious. Will definitely visit again.

Family birthday. Lovely tea shop in Long Eaton. Sandwich’s and cake, especially the Red Velvet Cake was just lovely. The service - requested beforehand that birthday ballon or sign be added to table, this wasn’t done. Drinks served with no spoons, sugar or milk. We had to request these. Tea pot overfilled dripping onto arm of person by waitress. Two diabetics in party and advised more savoury items would be included for them. Their afternoon tea was the same as ours. Yes I would recommend this lovely place but a little more attention to detail is needed if we are to return.

Bought a box of 6 cupcakes for my wife. They were delicious and really good value for money. Would highly recommend! :)

From start to finish everything was super, The lovely young lady who owns the Wonky teapot is doing everything on her own and is doing an amazing job. My order was taken along with my name address and phone number. A swift and easy payment was made and my food was delivered the same day. My afternoon tea was fresh and flavoursome and the homemade lemon drizzle was to die for not forgetting the scones, oh the scones white chocolate and cherry with clotted cream (very generous) and sour cherry jam . 5 stars from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

What a great little tea room, very friendly staff, excellent service, great food, reasonable prices. Would definitely visit again and recommend to anyone looking for an afternoon tea venue

Called in one afternoon, heard great things about the place so me and my friend called on for Afternoon Tea and was not disappointed. The Decor is so modern and appealing, it was very busy but we was served in no time. The service was great and the young lady who runs it is an absolute darling. When the afternoon tea arrives , well it’s a good job we was hungry and array of different sandwiches and scones and cakes, so much we took some home. And for the price it was fantastic. The presentation of the authentic British tea cups with the modern presentation of the afternoon tea and the warm decor was just spot on. Won’t go anywhere else in Long Eaton for a spot of lunch, if your just passing buy for a cup cake or sitting in for a sandwich don’t hesitate to call in and you won’t be disappointed.
