Went today with my mum Staff pleasent. But the place is looking dirty and tired. Does not look like it gets cleaned or the woodwork and shelving very dusty Could write your name in it. Ordered food. I opted for mix Grill. It was ok. My mum had the Haddock and chips The batter was chewy and when she got to the fish.she could not eat it . It was not cooked looked a mess worst fish I have seen. No Staff member came to check and as I was leaving there was mo one about to complain. Disappointed used to be a good place. Won't be returning

Fast and good service no hanging round the table

No welcome, I had trio of pies which was fine, but my wife had the Sirlion steak which she had to cut off at least 2oz of fat. Complained but no empathy from staff. We only went to the Brewers as we were staying next door at the Premier Inn which we have no issues with.

Clean, modern pub/restaurant. Friendly man serving behind bar.

We went in the day for lunch. My friend had an app with an offer of 30% off food. Actually the food was good. We would go again when there is another offer on.

Stood 10 mins waiting to be shown to a reserved table staff rather clear tables outside than actually deal with customers who actually are paying for the shocking service. Not enough staff stood ten deep in queue at bar where you have to order your food and drink yourself no table service and then no ale available on meal deal refuse to offer alternative soft drink or lager. Total disregard for satisfying a customer. Couldn't care less attitude from staff. Been to over 20 different premier inn / pub restaurant combos and this is by far the worse. If I could rate minus number this would get. Would not recommend. Go to a chippy anywhere service and food got to be better....

Used to come here a lot as the food was beautiful, plenty of choice and staff were great. Gone this afternoon for the first time in a little while and it’s drastically gone down hill. Very small menu with hardly any veggie choice, cavary was lukewarm and bland, hardly any staff and the ones the where where unpleasant or clueless

Food amazing, but seemed short staffed had to keep asking for things to be replenished.

Called into here whilst on a drive out. We have eaten at a lot of brewers faye and we must admit this is at the very top of our list . staff really approachable always a smile in their face and willing to help best they can.service first class as far as i am concerned. Food well like i said top of the list arrived piping hot full of taste. I should point out that i had the mixed grill. None of it was cold all hot and at my table very quickly. Parking was easy with plenty of space. Very clean inside and out. Will be definitely calling in again when in the area.😊😊😊

Very generic food on Carvery. Made to fill a hole and not made to taste like wow food at all. No herbs whatsoever. Totally bland and thoughtless conveyor belt food.

We were just passing and dropped in. The reception guy said they were fully booked, but the manager found us a table. The service and food were fantastic, and we will definitely go back...booking first, tho. I had a mixed grill, and my wife had chicken and ribs. Thanks to staff

Last minute good friday family breakfast. We had a lovely time, my wife booked a table the night before for 14 of us. Normal food for premier in, decent and worth having again. Staff were great too.

Lovely breakfast served here , made to order Monday to Friday, buffet service at weekends. Great choice of food , served by Pam , who was so friendly and helpful, efficient service and nothing was too much trouble 😀 great service today !

We asked to be seated in a quiet area of the pub as my own has sensory processing difficulties especially with noise. They were very accommodating with this which was lovely. There was a lipstick mark on my son’s glass so they promptly replaced it with a new one. The food was good, especially the brownie for pudding - this is a must. We didn’t get a check about the meal but that wasn’t really an issue as everything was fine. Would go again!

Can see why this place is not busy, the carvery stops at 6pm on a Sunday. Over priced for what you get. We ordered a creamy chicken and pulled pork pie with mash (requested no peas as don't like them) what came out was not worth the money (just under £12) we paid, very bland lack of presentation on a large plate, spoke to a member of staff and had to fight to get carrots (they only have raw carrot sticks for the kids meals) as no other veg options. We won't be back and we've recommending people stay away, there are better pubs within the vicinity, which is a shame as I remember when this pub used to be busy

The best Sunday carvery in the area! Always our first choice for a delicious and wide range of perfectly cooked meats and vegetable dishes. Special mention to Karl who was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about which foods my celiac partner was able to eat.

I have just got back home feeling disappointed at the carvery. Only Roast Beef to choose from and Roast Potatoes were like bricks, vegetables were minimal, wont be going back and it cost me £27 for two so-called Riast dinners. Terrible.

The Unlimited Breakfast is Amazing here one of my most favourite places.

Nice mixed grill, friendly place.

The steak was not what we asked for it was rarer than a ruby, the rivers blood was all over the plate. This went back and we never got a replacement. Wife then ordered a pudding only to find a blue item embedded in the customer, again we asked for assistance. There excuse for the blue item was "it looked like a bit of blue towel that the knife was wiped with". The staff did not care and just fobbed us off, I wound never eat here again!

Pam our server was welcoming and friendly, and happily went to find decaff coffee. We had breakfast which is great value as the hot drinks and juice are included in the price. Pam and Dave were particularly helpful when I realised I'd left my bag behind, and kept it safe until I returned.

Family get together. Lots of choices and savings. Service was good, especially as there appeared to be only a handful of staff working. Really good experience.

Usually come here for dinner with the kids every now and again and we usually have a nice time; came for christmas dinner on 25/12/2023 Walked in and wasn't greeted by any staff member, wasn't offered the glass of bubbly had to get it ourself, the only staff member I can say was very nice was the man doing the Christmas Dinner he wished us a merry Christmas Atmosphere was alright, the food was lovely but just felt off considering this is where we decided to have our Christmas Dinner

Another great family meal at the weekend. Catered for 10 of us for a family meet up. The staff helped my dad as he had a walking stick and were all lovely. Food was top notch and all reasonably priced.

Came in on Sunday for a carvery. Meat and veggies were fresh and very tasty - we had gammon and beef, which I’d definitely recommend. Staff was friendly and helpful, will definitely come back!

Worst meal I've had in a long while. Waited 50 minutes for a turkey dinner last night, when it came the jug of gravy, carrots and potatoes was stone cold, the parsnips cremated and the staff in there knew it was so bad that they didn't come over once to ask if everything was OK, even avoided asking at the end when they collected the plates. It was absolutely freezing in there and many people ate with their full coats on too. How you can justify taking £42 from us for 2 meals and serving up that is shocking. Think you forgot about us and scraped the leftovers off the bottoms of a grill pan to serve us

Loved the food but it was quite greasy and I don't mean fat filled greasy chips I mean average food that doesn't normally have grease in it but I have to say that it was still nice and the staff and other patrons where nice and it made a great atmosphere

I recently attended a works dinner at Winwick Quay, and it was an exceptional experience. The food was truly delicious, with each dish showcasing attention to detail. The service was impeccable, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everyone had a delightful evening. Highly recommend it!

I took my dad for lunch on Thursday 19th he couldn't eat the chips they were well over done and the fish was too!! Peas were from a tin yuck!

It was ok. Food was nice. No cutlery or condiments on our table....meals were brought over but the server didn't notice them missing....didn't get gravy with my meal for some reason...only realised after it had ate it. Wasn't told coffee was help yourself....so sat for a while awaiting it.

Food took almost 40 mins between each course and it wasn't busy when we came when asked where it was I was told we would be next on the list. The children where hungry and started to get agitated waiting so long we ended up having to get our desserts to go. Which where still in the foil and plastic wrap so it didn't seem like we would have gotten them any time soon too

Food was ok, service was atrocious. Arrogant women behind till, incredibly ignorant, went in with friends, had to go and find staff after stood at bar for over 10 minutes.

Turned up after a long journey to find out that the pub wouldn’t serve us at 10:35pm though they closed at 11pm as they cashed up early.

After booking a hotel I had taken advantage of the meal deal. After receiving my starter I was not asked if I would like my main meal and had to wait when the restaurant was not busy. My mixed grill arrived handed over by the chef although there was three waiters. He asked me if I would like any sauce to which I said yes to mayonnaise and he raised his eyes and left. I had eaten my meal a good half an hour later and he had only just brought out the small pot of sauce and said sorry I forgot. Worst experience I have witnessed from whitbread!! Had a great stay next door, staff at this place was amazing couldn't help you enough (sam) and food was great. I had breakfast and evening meal and couldn't fault it at all lots of selection on the breakfast and evening menu was good. Would recommend definitely.

Had a great main meal however customer service let us down when it came to deserts, the pub was not exceptionally busy, we had two children under 5, waited for out deserts approached bar staff on two occasions told they would be with us shortly after 45 minutes went back up for the third time and asked for a refund on the deserts. The refund was given however the apology sounded half hearted. No explanation as to why we we're waiting so long. A shame really.

This is one of my first choices of eateries. It's a bit of a drive for us, but I've always found it to be good food, friendly staff and always a nice atmosphere. My only gripe, (hence the four stars not five), is the portion sizes seem to have shrunk slightly. Otherwise, lovely little venue.

Just been to the Gemini retail park. Found a gem of a place for Sunday lunch. Down earth staff and great food. No complaints from me. Eating turkey reminded me of Xmas. I'll be sure to come back. My mum who's a really picky eater gives her compliments to the chef.

Typical Brewers Fayre experience. Staff were friendly. Service was quick. Food arrived quickly. Reasonable quality, although not blown away. Decent food at a decent price. No complaints
