Rude not very accommodating and does not accept card payment….the place in its previous location much better

I go here all the time, very good portions and tasty as well. Cant go wrong with gastronomic, got to try.

A bonus point for quick service and a text to alert us that it was ready for collection but the telephone service and face to face interaction didn’t inspire us to want to return. The char Sui pork was thin and bland, the Cantonese sauce was oddly fragrant and not pleasant, the salt and pepper king prawns were soggy, the hors d’oeuvres were too small. The prawn toast was tiny but tasty! The spring roll was really not nice (I didn’t bother finishing it off). The ribs were nice but nothing special. Overall, my first time trying Gastronomic was disappointing- I didn’t enjoy the food and won’t bother going back.

Foods ok got a big pizza box thing Got.your standard salt and pepper chicken etc The time it took though was ridiculous, if they say 10 mins it's half hour if they say 1 min it's 10 mins

Ordered a chicken chow mien and a special chow mien. Both meals the chicken was boiled and blaned with no colour as though it was just boiled and thrown in at the end, both meals had thin Singapore style noodles, chow mien should have thick noodles and bean sprouts, every special chow mien I have ever ordered has always had 3 King prawns in it but not a single prawn to be found, the meals was like eating bland water so poor quality it is a wonder how they are still open, I also added the £10 salt and pepper box which again had no flavour. I am a full chef so please don't tell me that I am wrong the food was so poor I actually felt full just at the thought of eating this rubbish

Best Chinese for takeaway in Warrington. Always quality food and great service. Use it at least once a week.

Had the £10 salt n pepper box, was far too much really enjoyed I know by a few of the other comments as I also preferred the chips and the out venue. The staff were friendly and accommodated me on not liking wings will definitely be back again thank you x

Been going to gastronomic’s for probably around 15/16 years and the food never disappoints especially the satay donner meat and the salt and pepper chips. Andy and julie are lovely and will make anything requested in any way you like. Amazing!

The food in this place seems to have gone downhill since they made the move from further down the road. The salt & pepper chips used to be amazing, but now they're disgusting & under cooked. Seems they're cutting the standard of food to save money & increase profits. The food is hit or miss & there's far better Chinese takeaways in Warrington than this place, would not recommend

Where to even start, the salt and Pepper chips are just too good! The chicken isn't too dry which is nice and it is still flavourful. The curry sauce has a nice spice that hits perfectly too. 👍 the sesame prawn toasts are crispy and so nice the flavours really balance each other out. My personally favourite though has to be the salt and pepper meals. It is just so good They staff are really friendly too! Great food for good prices!

Every time we come to Gastronomic, the food is absolutely first class. Never any disappointment. The staff are so lovely, very professional but always have a smile and are so courteous. My usual is salt and pepper chips and a pot of curry sauce which I buy on Fridays. I’m always looking forward to them because they are always outstandingly delicious!!! I’d highly recommend Gastronomic without hesitation!!!

Very good salt and pepper chips! Had their food last time for the first time and I can say I will most definitely be coming back! The staff are lovely and the drivers were all on time! Fantastic Chinese food. All the staff are great make you feel right at home. Pizza boxes are great value and packed with plenty of yummy food, and the salt and pepper chips are simply the best in Warrington :-)

We have used Gastronomic for a number of years and always enjoyed their food, however, since they moved premises I have no idea what they have done with their chips. They used to be spot on but now they are awful. They look like they have been deep fried 10 times and are rock hard. They may even be frozen chips but don’t know. Very disappointing. Come on Gastro, sort it out.

This has got to be hands down the best Chinese Takeaway in Warrington. I was introduced to this takeaway by a neighbour and have never looked back since. I have ordered from other Chinese takeaways since just to try out the competition but as me and my partner would both agree, this is always the go to. We have tried many different dishes from the usual of Sweet and Sour chicken to Cantonese, to Chinese bbq, to their very own crispy seaweed which is phenomenal. And the chips are generously covered with their seasoning and onions and chillis, but not too hot that they cannot be eaten. Also as an additional comment, they also post on their Facebook page competitions to win a free LUCKY DUCK box which I successfully won a few days ago! Amazing keep it up! 👍 Jay and Emma 😊

Disappointing the salt & pepper chip are not the same.. soggy very little Garnish IE. no onions or chillies. Its just like a normal tray of chips.. the staff are all fantastic but I'll not be ordering chips again.. Sorry guys

This Chinese does the best tasting food in the area and if you're looking for something extra tasty I'd say try #66 it gets your taste buds tingling it's that nice! 5* for me my family and friends.

The staff are super friendly and polite which is lovely. However they have changed the recipe or something of the salt and pepper chips and now they aren't very good at all. Just normal chips with a few onions and a bit of salt. The salt and pepper chicken balls are lovely but the chicken curry is very oily and greasy. We used to love coming here for a treat but too many things have changed so we won't be returning. As I said, the staff are lovely though. Sorry!

Gastronomic! If you are looking for the best Chinese Takeaway in Warrington- there it is. We just collected our food, it’s been scheduled for 8.45, we have opened it at 9.15pm. It was still very hot, chicken wasn’t soggy just the opposite. Great prices compare to the food portions. Highly recommended 11/10

I love this restaurant! They prepare excellent food, their menu is varied, The cook in that restaurant is a real authority in the kitchen, I like very much trying all their dishes. The food is always tasty, the service towards the visitors is very good too. I often go to this place and I was never disappointed. I highly recommend it.

I felt very safe inside the shop, because every member of staff was wearing PPE and only one person allowed in to the shop. Food ofcourse as good as always . .

Just ordered a curry with fried rice and prawn crackers. Was absolutely lovely and the service was very polite. Will order again 👍

I celebrated my PhD this evening in this gorgeous place. Well we had a fine evening and the restaurant was no doubt the reason for the happy evening. The crew helped in a gorgeous manner, the meals were yummy and my friends were extremely cheerful. We shall no dout come back again for more events. Thank you very much.

The place is great and spacious, the food was delightful and the prices were very economical. quick, productive service and very friendly staff. Recommended.

As the title suggest a real shame and missed opportunity. The food is nice, probably the best in the area. That doesn't matter however when you return home to find the wrong or missing food. It doesn't help even if you ask for the order to be read back over the phone, it still ends up wrong. Not sure where the fault is in the process but if it's sorted this could be the beat Chinese in Warrington by quite a stretch.

Sadly will not be returning to gastronomic the last two meals we have ordered for collection we have arrived home and noticed we have had items missing and got given a completely different meal to what we ordered, food tastes really nice however due to two mix ups in a row we will be choosing to order elsewhere in the future.

Genuinely suprised how Gastronomic has managed a 4.6 rating. Just brought our food home and for the 2nd time in as many months the its wrong again. Having had the wrong order before we have asked for the order to be read back over the phone and they still have got it wrong. It's too far to return it so just about to tuck into the wrong food. Shame because when it's written down correctly its quite nice. Won't be returning

This spot is my favored. I visit plenty of restaurants but to this restaurant I keep coming back again and again. The crew is very warm and the food they offer is so fresh and tasty. I am always happy to have a decent dinner in this restaurant. Highly recommended.

Just so hit and miss!Sometimes we get it from here and it is so unbelievably tasty, but then 50% of the time it just doesn’t taste of all that much. Not trying to knock it as a takeaway, the staff are lovely and it’s very moderately priced, just sometimes it isn’t that tasty. Hopefully if you go you get lucky and go on a tasty day!!

First time we have bought from here tonight, the food was hot and tasted amazing. My favourite i have to say was the salt and pepper chips and salt and pepper chicken... oh and the curry sauce wow.... polite and friendly delivery guy and very aware of current social distancing... i think card payments over the phone or paypal would be safer than your staff handling cash from different houses. Only criticism,,, there was too much sugar in the seaweed 😉

Came in here after receiving money back from Golden bowl for a terrible meal but that’s another story. Saved my night- the deep fried chicken in fruity garlic sauce was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Won’t go to any other Chinese now.

Ordered from here twice recently & both times the food has been plentiful & of a good quality. Staff are friendly & the venue appears clean & tidy. Prices are fair & the salt & pepper chips amazing. Extra salt, pepper & garlic can be added on request for a small charge. Well worth it. Delicious.

Bought a pizza box meal for £24 full of greasy horrible food which was nowhere near £24 . terrible food not worth the 1 star I have it

I've been going to Gastronomic for 8 years, the food is amazing, the staff are really nice and friendly. The Salt and pepper chips are unbelievable, and the Pizza Box meal (a pizza box filled with Chinese food) is brilliant value for money. Worth every penny.

Had a 12inch pizza meal last night unfortunately it was much to salty spoiled the whole meal chips and chicken had been over salted i had the 16 inch meal last week and it was really nice but this has now.put me off for awhile had to throw most away shame we where really looking forward to it

Went yesterday don't ever go just after 5pm as you get last night warm ups!!! Normally cook the salt and pepper chips and bring to the front they wrapped them in the back got home large portion I'll give you that but all like dehydrated or scrappy bits did not enjoy at all an know they are normally nice. Had salt and pepper ribs they were nice but can only suggest bin the warm ups from the night before as yuk!!!!!!!
