Been here many, many times now. Small, friendly, extremely clean and bright cafe in a pleasant part of the town. Very good menu, food very well presented and served, great value for money. Wouldn’t want to go anywhere else in Yeovil for lunch. A special mention for the absolutely superb Welsh Rarebit.

Had a great breakfast here. Nothing fancy, just good food, good service and reasonable prices. It would be a regular stop if we were local.

This cafe is utterly charming. We have been coming here for years, when the rules allow. The first visit was experimental as this is run by a charity. The experiment was a success as the food was freshly prepared and delicious. Today we wanted a brunch breakfast and that we got. The premises were spotless. Admittedly we are pensioners and don’t have huge appetites but sadly, I had to leave half my sausage, some beans and tomato. The bacon was cooked just to my liking. I am a butter fiend, so could have done with one more small pat.

Even during these difficult times this establishment continues to offer the highest quality takeaway confectionary drinks etc. The staff are a delight to deal with and always ensure social distancing is in place. The establishment is charity based and and a credit to the organisation. The range of homemade food is fantastic and again of a very high standard. Would recommend the takeaway coffee and homemade cake. Lush!!👌

Popped in this week and had an English breakfast with an espresso. Ingredients were good and perfectly cooked and served with a smile. Overall a very pleasant experience that has encouraged me to return.

The town was pretty busy and then we spotted this place and I remembered seeing all the great reviews. The service was quick and efficient. I had a delicious pasta bolognese special and it was delightful and good value.

I visited with my daughter just for a drink after lunch to escape the showers. I had a luxury hot chocolate whilst she chose a frappe. The service was attentive and the staff clearly took pride in what they were doing and served us with a smile. I think this is a wonderful little place and will return to eat next time.

I will agree the service is not lightning fast. But the coffee is good. I rarely get my hopes up for quiche and side salad but it was really good. Warmed quiche with a varied salad (as opposed to a few limp pieces of lettuce you usually expect) was very nice.

Had a smashing coffee break here. Lovely attentive staff. Everything reasonably priced and the service is great. Well worth a visit.

Called in for a brunch on Monday 25th November 2019. I was heartened to see 3 people with learning difficulties working in the cafe under supervision. A big confidence boost for them and they responded to my smile. The modestly priced brunch, a full English at £5.95 was excellent.

Went in here with my partner yesterday (28/10/19) and had a lovely lunch the service was second to none really fresh ingredients! Would recommend. We had the carrot cake to go and is a must! The cake it's self was moist and flavorful would definitely have again I'm a professional chef and would definitely recommend friends and family to have lunch here. Great place that gives people with disabilities a chance to work in a safe workplace and is a good company to support!

Fantastic cafe in Town Centre. Giving support to to people with learning difficulties who also provide a varied menu, with a good selection of cooked food l, cakes and coffee. Visited for the first time today. Highly recommended. Visit asap.

Delightful day time cafe selling fresh food and homemade cakes selection. Staff are friendly, hardworking and support each other fully to provide a happy and clean cafe situated in Princes Street. Nearby is an additional 'nic nac' shop run by other staff. And all staff are trained to support those people with diverse needs too. Good value all round, recommended

if you just stopping for a quick drink or if you're having something to eat everything is well worth going in for staff are brilliant it's a great experience would recommend

We Called in as. The place slow us to take dogs in. Wow fantastic meals beautifully presented Welsh rarebit and quiche with salad. A true gem of a find and great to see business helping young people in need. Well done guys

Love The Winking Frog. Popped in for the first time about a year and half ago, and we always go in there when we're in the area. The iced coffees are a must, and their paninis are among the best. Had the bacon, brie and cranberry panini, and it was perfectly done. Probably the nicest one I've had. Perfect balance between the ingredients, and all of a high quality.

Fab breakfast and amazing cakes love coming here. Polite and wonderful service from all.

This may be one of the best Full English Breakfast in Yeovil at the moment, all good quality ingredients well cooked and served on a warmed plate. Coffee excellent, big bucket of coffee and they have Soya milk if you need it.

We popped in here for a light lunch and both ordered Welsh Rarebit and a pot of tea for two. The Rarebit was the best I've ever had coming with side salad and pickle and the tea was served in a proper china pot and didn't need a lifebelt. It was a pleasure to be served by the staff, some with disabilities, who were all cheerful and attentive. It is not the quickest place to be served but probably the best and very, very good value. we will return soon

This is a lovely café, happy staff and clean and tidy area where you can sit and relax. The food is lovely and lots of choice. I'll be back again soon.

We wanted a quick bite to eat on our way to Cornwall so looked for a easy to find, cheap option. Despite other reviewers saying it was a good place for lunch we were left quite disappointed and would not recommend or return. Prices were reasonable but the service we received was not great. This may be due to arriving after the rush but when ordering our food we were told there were no paninis were left. My husband ordered a jacket potato with several toppings. The order was brought out 15 minutes later without 2 of the 3 toppings and when we asked why they then said they’d run out of beans and cheese. On a positive note, it was great to see the cafe supporting young people with special needs who were working in the kitchen and running food to the table but the staff who took the order could’ve been more organised and informative.

Great little cafe with lovely objectives. Staff are poilet and friendly. Lovely to see individuals with learning difficulties excepted and intergrated in such a lovely manner. I wanted to visit this place as I love a good ploughman's and the cafes offering looked good from TA photos. I was walking past and the ploughman's was advertised as £5, a bargain. When the ploughman's came, there was no ham, apple, pickled onions or toms. The bread was also cut earlier in the day as it was a tad dry. It literally was bread, butter, chutney, cheese, some salad leaves, red onion, grapes and pepper. Other than the dry bread it did taste good, it just could have been better. I had to ask the waitress for cutlery with my food. My partner had a chicken and bacon bap, he said it was ok but would have been better off with an Earls. Would go again but would not rush back.

Excellent food, especially the fresh fruit yougart drinks. A million times better than McDonald's. Also supporting local people, even better. Bread made a couple of doors up in their own bakery.

Always top class here, it's my favourite stop when shopping in Yeovil.

Visited for breakfast with family. We were not familiar with the town and selected this venue on basis of reviews. It exceeded expectations. Ideal location with wonderful view & cosy interior. Received a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. One of the party has mobility issues, there is seating on the ground floor and steps to the lower floor. Toilets are on ground level so easy access for the less able. The food was wonderful, all locally sourced and organic, grilled not fried and a good choice for vegetarians too. Some amazing ciders such as mango, and chill and ginger; unfortunately it was a little early in the day to try them! This place deserves to win, 5 stars!

Been here several times now. A lovely little cafe in the centre of the town. Quiet and friendly atmosphere, great surroundings, excellent menu, lovely people, excellent service and excellent food. We had lunch for two for less than £10. All fresh and delicious. Wouldn't go anywhere else. (And their Welsh Rarebit is, in my opinion, the best in the world).

We had our dog with us and many of the cafes in Yeovil are not dog friendly. We were delighted to find The Winking Frog who were very friendly and also allowed dogs. They had a good selection on their menu. My husband had a bacon sandwich and I had a thick slice Victoria sponge cake both were really good which we ordered with coffee. The staff were lovely. I would recommend this cafe and will definely return when in Yeovil.

Popped in for tea and cake of the week after a long journey down the M6/M5. Warm welcome excellent apple cake, I had mine warm, really brought out the flavour. Enjoyed the freshly made individual pots of tea.
