Had my sons 4th birthday meal booked here. Very accommodating and very polite. The food came quick and was lovely! My sons had the kids meals which were great portions and really enjoyed the ice cream machine!

Good pizza here one of the best for a pub. However the carvery was very badly stocked with only turkey available, they had no roast potatoes either. For a stonehouse this place is hit and miss.

This place should have ten stars foods always perfect and staff are greatttttttttt!!!!!!!! Jodie is the very polite and efficient you need more like her she definitely deserves a raise

We were a family of 7 having called in for lunch. Jess was very competent and polite, soon sorting out our order. The food, quality, quantity and choice was excellent and we all thoughly enjoyed it. A great luchtime experience. A big thank you to everyone especially Jess.

Really nice pick n mix and carvery for the hubby. Pinot was lovely. Some of the cutlery was a little dirty though.

Came in as a family of 8, nobody there to greet us which is fine, went to the bar and asked if they had a table for 8, they said there should be one at the back. Went to where they said, full of dirty plates, we moved them and sat down, the seats were all ripped. The whole place was run down, not like I remembered it. Nobody else was in there eating. We sat there for 5 mins or so and nobody came over. We ended up leaving and going to the queens arms, much better experience 💪

We ordered from carvery and the menu, The carvery was fine, the actual menu food was horrendous. Mac & cheese stone cold, burgers were like cardboard, chicken wings were well over cooked and were biscuits. Desert was microwaved and hard.

As carvery goes, some really good meat and great fast service. Don't miss your opportunity to get some dough balls.

10/10 carvery every time and even a great pizza oven for an extra touch. Staff were very accommodating and helpful after a slight issue with our booking but they ensured our party were happy even during their busiest time.

We came here for a family get together 17 in all, we've been before it was a couple of years ago which was alot nicer then. There wasn't much choice on the menu carvery, burgers, pizza or fish!! The carvery looked very dry to be honest I went for the pulled pork pizza I had about 3 pieces of pulled pork so was just a pizza it was ok. Out of the 17 of us who all ate 4 of them have been ill and had the burgers. It wasn't the cleanest of places, toilet doors in the ladies were dirty on the paintwork needed a good wipe, wallpaper in pub was tatty in places and alot of the fabric on the chairs were dirty. The guy on the bar was quite rude while serving us Wouldn't go back again.

100% recommend this pub, me and my friend have been twice recently for the carvery and everything is spot on. Friendly staff, clean environment and banging food. If I'm in the area again I will certainly be popping in 😇 thank you

Great with kids and lovely quick service.

Keeley was very polite and consistent with collecting my glasses, she was extremely kind and and provided good service. The bartender was polite, nice and helpful with everything I needed. Great hospitality and a great pub!

It was okay. The food was a bit lack lustre, the veg was a bit dry but there weren't many people in. We had an offer of £6 per carvery so for that it was okay but nothing special.x

Good food, friendly professional staff, plenty of choice in meat and veg.

About 80% of the food was deep-fried. Only good part of the meal was the carvery calzone which was hand made. And the price of food was cheap but you get what you pay for I suppose 🤷‍♂️

Great carvery and good value for money

Starters : mushroom over cooked dry and hard .No beef and wasn't told when we were paying for the carvery. hard stuffing and had to ask for the gravy and the rest of the veg not very warm .no atmosphere service very poor .

I cam with my 2 kids to avail of the kids eat for £1. The food was great and good value. The service was fantastic and staff were very friendly. We all had a lovely dining experience.

Jamie was very helpful when I enquired about the dessert options available for my son. He came back with an array of toppings for the bottomless ice cream and was very attentive.

Absolutely lovely carvery, the roast potatoes are delicious 😋 couldn't get a table at fletchers so came here, glad we did as it's not only cheaper but better quality food, will be coming here for our carvery in future .

Came in last night for a carvery, food was great, Jamie served us and looked after us all day, what a lovely young lad

Carvery wasn't too bad, definitely need more of a choice! We went on a Sunday at 3pm and it was sooooo quiet. Choices of meat were good but 2 types of mash, roasties, green beans, carrots, cauli cheese and peas isn't a great variety and wasn't really clear on what things were(2nd type of mash was colcannon I think). I know a carvery is self explanatory but we got sat down and left, no explanation on how to order or where(we ordered from the QR in the end). Tickets got brought over and that's all we heard from anyone until our plates were taken by I'm assuming the manager who was lovely. Could possibly do with a bit of an update too, very dated and tired looking.

Didn't eat, but went in for a quiet drink and catch up on some work emails. The team, especially Jodie we're very welcoming, accommodating and the venue was very clean and tidy.

First time eating in here and both me and my son loved the carvery. The meal was and we also had starters and desserts which were also plentiful. The staff were very friendly and made sure that you were looked after. Only downside we had was we were sat near the door and it was a little chilly as people were coming in and out.

Fabulous! Best breakfast we’re had in a long time. Haven’t been in for 12months but new management. Really clean environment and brilliant quality food. Will be back soon!
