The Windjammer in Newham

Het restaurant wat gelegen is aan de Theems is een leuke tent om te zien. Alles is best wel aan de prijs, zeker omdat het ver van het centrum afligt. Dan kan je beter een leuke pub in de stad zoeken. En dan het volgende, als je een allergie hebt, en dan bij ons 1 iemand met een knoflook allergie dan is er dus werkelijk NIKS op de kaart wat je kan eten. En ze serveren ook niks aan je als je zelf de verantwoordelijkheid er voor neemt. Nu werd het deze keer netjes opgelost en keer de persoon met allergie een aparte Fish &Chips zonder knoflook. Het is raar dat er niks op het menu is zonder knoflook. Ik ga de volgende keer iets anders opzoeken.

Buena comida y buen ambiente. Dentro de la decoración industrial moderna y agradable multitud amable. Agradable empezar la noche al aire libre en la terraza al sol con vistas al río. Conveniente para el aeropuerto de la ciudad de Londres también.

Pub en sí es agradable. Sin embargo, era tranquilo y el personal estaba jugando. Charlando muy fuerte, jurando. Esto necesita ser resuelto. Actuaban como si fuera un lugar de reunión en lugar de trabajo.

This was our first visit to the Windjammer and we were hugely impressed. Some of our party enjoyed the roast, others the lovely vegetarian food. My parents are elderly and we arrived a little late because of an out of order lift on the DLR but they were very understanding. Lovely food and drink and a great setting. We’ll return!

Very nice location, by the Thames barrier & the waterside. Not many other options for pub grub. Friendly staff, the clientele seemed like locals. The food was nice albeit pricey fircwhat it was, the roast dinner are good.

A brilliant spot overlooking the Thames barrier, light and beautiful. Beautifully put together interior, smart and warm. The best place to go for food if you are at the ExCel. A short 25min walk across the foot bridge at the Custom House station end of ExCel. Delicious food (the chips are brilliant) great selection of beers and far better value than any of the food options stuck in the convention centre. A delight!
