We waited over half an hour for an ice cream, which i thought was rather excessive

Nice little cafe in Peterborough Central Park.

Nice location, good snacks at the moment, service efficient, courteous & welcoming, good selection of goodies on the menu, our dogs love the doggy ice cream (as they would)

I had my 70 th birthday party at the willow function room on Saturday 14 th of Dec,the venue is beautiful,the food was amazing,ally guests commented on the quality of the food ,staff very friendly and attentive,thank you , highly recommend.

Nice little cafe shop who also sells crisps, cakes and hot foods plus hot and cold drinks. Customer service from the older lady was general and not welcoming. My jacket potato with the smallest amount of cheese and I'd say a maximum of 10 baked beans was served piping hot with a garnish of delicious salad. My Pepsi was placed on my table with a glass and no ice then I was left to enjoy the cold inside as it appeared just a little warmer than outside. It was nice to see they allow dogs in as this helps local dog walkers. I heard that they have local groups on and support groups for people with learning disabilities and so forth. My disappointment was mostly the jacket potato with the lack of value for baked beans and cheese at a massive £9.80 and the can of Pepsi was an extortionate £1.60. This is a nice cafe but it in no way is value for money and more of a expensive treat. I personally won't be coming back.

Very nice cafe in Central Park. You can sit and enjoy a nice cup of coffee with a piece of cake,or eat lunch , and enjoy ice cream.

Attended a wake here. The buffet was good. I had some choices as a vegetarian. Lovely venue especially the access to outside space.

I booked an afternoon tea for my sister in laws birthday treat as I had heard good things, unfortunately the sandwiches seemed very bland and cheap bread, and cakes were very dry, and we left most of them, so was very dissapointed, maybe a one off, but we both thought the same.

Don't come this end of town unless working and I support someone to use the cafe part, regularly, and staff know this person well now, very kind, food made to order. Clean, tidy, quiet, run well,can't comment on food taste and quality. my step father also takes his mother here, who's suffers with dementia and he too speak highly of their kind service. I will try get over here on a personal experience at some point, keep meaning to, also really want to come to one of the events.

We were in the function room for a wake. Never been here before had used the outside cafe many years ago and although we were there for a very sad reason the cafe is clean and well presented which helped to make a sad occasion bearable.

First time in here for an event and i was pleasantly surprised by this venue quite big and cute despite the surroundings and location i normally avoid this area for safety reasons, i don't feel safe in this area of town.

I've Cream/Gelato Mint Choco and the cookies and cream was really good the vanilla I'd avoid. Service was poor, clearly not very good at taking or processing orders with efficiency, care or diligence.

Had a lovely three course dinner here this evening with peers from Progressive. Food was excellent. I had lasagne and a pear tart for dessert. Non alcoholic lager was decent for £3 a bottle too. Staff were very friendly and service was quick. Thank you for a lovely evening.

Could not have asked for a better experience! I came in with my husband and 3 children under 4 and we were served like royalty. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help us with everything we needed and more. The atmosphere is bright and clean. The food was all phenomenal, particularly the fish and chips and the ice cream. Best cafe I’ve been to in the UK.

Thank you to Christine and her staff. We held a wake here yesterday. It was the perfect! The food was delicious, the staff were fantastic, they played the playlist we wanted and had photo slideshow running on a huge TV throughout our time there. The venue layout worked so well with indoor and outdoor space. You made a very hard day go perfectly. I can highly recommend this team. Thank you 🙏 for everything.

My daughter and I love stopping in here when we come to feed the squirrels. The cakes are far too delicious to resist and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

Love this little place in Queens Park. Always something yummy to eat and nice drinks on offer Staff are always welcoming too. Great place for a stop off while doing a few laps of the park or even having a lovely walk with your dog.

Service was unfortunately very slow und it was done with an unkind attitude, being very cautious not to be polite or professional. It's a shame really!

Had a brilliant Burns Night dinner complete with Piper and Highland Dancer. Thoroughly recommended.

A lovely cafe. A great place to meet for a chat and a cuppa, summer or winter. Staff are friendly and helpful, food and drink are scummy. Its dog as well as people friendly.

Love the food. Exceptional service. Also, it can be hired for private do. As a dejay I have put gigs on in the function room. A great space for weddings, birthdays, infact for any event. Would definitely recommend You contacting the Williow. Also sit in Central park, beautiful scenery.💯👌🏿

Went here for xmas lunch with work colleagues. Being a vegetarian, i ordered cauliflower steak, and all i got was big chunks of tasteless cauliflower!! And the dessert was terrible. It was supposed to be a hot brownie with ice cream, but the brownie was cold!! Luckily, it was all paid for by our company. Otherwise, I would definitely have complained!

A brilliant Christmas Eve carol service. Wonderful atmosphere, superb mince pies.

We visited with a group of children from Lime Academy Orton Special School. I called in advance to explain the needs of our children and the access we would need for the children using a wheelchair. When we arrived, the staff had set up a lovely area for us to sit . They created a great atmosphere with music and excellent service. Would highly recommend!!

What a gem of a place for dogs and their hoomans!! After a lovely walk around the park, we found this place in the center. Lovely food, friendly staff, and a must to return!!! And was surprised to find so much more going in events room......most weekends.

I had my baby shower here in the main function room! A huge thank you to Andy, Christine, Stacey and the team. You went above and beyond and helped make it the special day that it was! I am so so grateful! The food (afternoon tea) , arrangement of the venue, everything was not yo much trouble! Big disappointment for me n my friends family with kids ... We're waiting in queue for ice-cream.lady served 2 other people in front and shut the window on our face, didn't even bothered to say "sorry we are closed now" or whatever. Date 27th of August 2023 Time after 4.30 afternoon

We recently had my daughters Christening here in the main function suite. We would just like to say a massive thank you to Christine and her wonderful staff. They made us all feel welcome and accommodated our every need. Nothing was too much trouble and the food was amazing. Thank you for making her day so special. 😊

Went with a friend for a late breakfast. Good food, clean premises, friendly staff and good ambience, what more could you ask for. Kate's homemade scones recommended.

We booked a vegetarian afternoon tea for a party of 5 today and were provided with an excellent table in the shade. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious! The staff couldn't be more accommodating and the hot drinks were unlimited refills. Top marks to the attentive staff and the great quality food that was brought out. Will definitely be booking again!

As visitors to Peterborough we visited The Willow for the first time. The pics on the website rather overplay the venue, but the food was well presented, freshly cooked and tasty - fish and chips, a burger, sausage bap, cheese and ham croquettes and Caesar salad. A mix up with one order was quickly rectified. Certainly worth going back to when in the area!

Absolutely beautiful place. Surrounded by flowers. I work close by, so it's a relaxing place to eat and relax on my lunch break. Lovely staff with table service and good price food. Bacon bap is a must 😋 cakes are amazing 👏 😋

We sat outside and did not know we had to queue up and order outside, but were told once we had gone in to order. The food came, and it was good. However, we then noticed we were not given any cutlery. (2 of our group had ordered cooked food) As it was then getting busy, we decided against queueing up again to get some, so they ate everything with their fingers. Otherwise it was nice to be able to sit outside and enjoy the sunshine.

We enjoy taking the dog for a walk around the park and then having a nice coffee and a bite to ear.

Rude staff, was spoken to in a patronising way for not knowing my table number. Shocking customer service, definitely going to avoid this place in future, if you’re looking for a good cafe in Peterborough go to NATA instead!

Bought 4 coffees to drink in the Park. I threw mine away discreetly so as not to influence my friends and moments later they all threw theirs away too and we all commented how awful they tasted. Sorry but I won't be buying coffee there again. The people serving were both polite and courteous.

This cafe has the best location in the heart of Central Park. Always a wonderful selection of cakes, wider menu, lovely outdoor seating for summer, great variety of events throughout year. And all the ice cream!

The staff at Willow are amazing, very hands on, know what they are doing and accommodating to customers and their guests. We organised an event of 150 people in under 2 weeks and all flowed seamlessly with the support of everyone involved. Thank you team, everybody had a blast and we look forward to more events like this!

Celebrated a 80th birthday afternoon tea yesterday! What a superb hidden little gem of a venue! In the Central Park. The venue is perfect for a great celebration. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Once the rain stopped you were free to venture out into their private gardens.

Enjoyed breakfast here . Clean good service delightful surroundings . Their idea of toast and marmalade slightly differs from mine . Am I wrong in expecting two slices of cut loaf toasted on both sides ? if so I apologise . I was presented with a HUGE lump of crusty loaf slightly brown on one side . Reasonable price, however, service appalling. Order came missing a drink and were told we had to queue again to order another even though we had already paid. Mentioned to another member of staff who said they would bring another, waited 20 minutes and nothing. Amazed any staff stay judging by the way the supervisor was shouting at them in the cafe.

Very much enjoy this place My Wife and little one have been here 3 times this week. They do a wide range of things and are always well priced I believe.

Two stars because the lemon drizzle cake is lush. However over priced and if you like your order served with a side of snotty this is the place to to go! There needs to be an ice cream van in Central Park so we don’t have to use here.

Great food, lovely staff, very clean in the seating area and toilets. Slightly more expensive than a regular cafe but certainly value for money. Would highly recommend.

Slightly expensive but always a lovely selection of cakes, sandwiches and hot food, as well as specialty teas, coffee and hot chocolate. In the summer, they offer alcohol and ice cream which I think is great

Not a welcoming atmosphere. The guy working at the counter seemed off and not pleasant. He was extremely abrupt to a “foreign sounding” customer. One can only assume why. However, to be fair there was a really nice lady working there.

I took my friend for lunch in the cafe, lovely baked potato, loads of filling, a couple of glasses of wine & cider , nice staff ,lovely , looking forward to Sunday lunch I hope it's as good 👍 😀

quite disappointed really. Went for a Christmas dinner with friends 8/12//21. The beef was tough and over cooked. The sprouts were so under cooked I couldn't get my fork in them, and both roast parsnips and roast carrots were burnt. Having said all that the staff were excellent and friendly. The venue itself was very good. But food wise, I can't really recommend it.

What a fantastic place ! We attended a private function this weekend and was very impressed - fantastic facility, great location, brilliant team and food was spot on. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back. Thanks for looking after us all!
