Lovely cocktail bar in Tollcross. Well made drinks, good music, friendly service, great atmosphere.

Didn't eat. Not sure they do food. But the drinks were impeccable, and the bar staff tolerated my dad jokes.

This bar is in this year's list of Top 50 UK Cocktail Bars, and they certainly deserve it! Is that a good thing? No! It means I have to share my favourite Edinburgh cocktail bar with all the people who will now discover it through the list and will, no doubt, keep coming back, like I do. More seriously, this place is friendly, the staff are super-knowledgeable, they're more affordable than much of their competition, especially given their shortlist of specials, and the vibe is super-relaxed.

We went during a weekday so it was quite quiet, however, the vibes were immaculate. Cozy but mysterious and great drinks! Truly delicious! The staff are very helpful and know every drink under the sun so are more than happy to go off the menu.

I had the best negroni ever here, it was so well balanced and the hint of orange really made it spectacular. The staff were lovely and it felt so cosy and relaxing. I really miss that negroni.

I've lived in Edinburgh (Bruntsfield) since 2010 and this is definitely my fav cocktail bar. The Attrice is the best cocktail ever 🥰 Atmosphere is awesome. Staff are awesome. Love you guys x Ps. They make an awesome dirty martini too 🤤

This place is quiet and private. The staff are amazing and the bartender will make you any drink you want (within reason and if they have the ingredients) — we did test him.

We went here after my daughter's graduation for pre-dinner cocktails. From the outside looks unprepossessing but thats a bad misjudgement. Inside the staff were lovely, the atmosphere friendly and the drinks reasonably priced and good. Its a small bar, but its rare even so to get table-service, and feel so welcome. Would recommend and will go back next time we're in Edinburgh.

Used to be a regular haunt in Tollcross when it was a fleapit bar. Now a super cosy and chic studenty cocktail bar with moody lighting. 👌 for the right time of 🌙

I've read some 'bad' reviews on this place but honestly, there's no way they're legitimate. All the staff were welcoming, accommodating and friendly. The bartenders were not only knowledgeable but could easily make you a personalised drink after a couple of orders. They were happy to give you small samples to help you order, and would make you any mix you wanted. Over all, the BEST bar I've been to in Edinburgh in the 20 years I've lived here.

We went 2 times in Aug. 2022. Two times because it was JUST what we were looking for in Edinburgh… great Whiskey, super knowledgeable, personable bar keepers / owners. The “Break Even Bottle” is not to be missed! I was so inspired that I occasionally offer “Break Even Botox” at my dental office! Will definitely be back for my next trip to Scotland!

I've come here a number of times and always had a fantastic experience. Everything about the decor to the service is spot on.

We used to love this bar but after our last experience we’re not coming back. The male bartender asked us more than once whether we planned to have more drinks or leave. We spent over £150 on cocktails and still we were the only table not left alone to have a chat for 5 minutes without a full glass, while tables around us had the same pint for 2 hours. It’s the first time we’ve felt this uncomfortable and unwelcome in a bar in Edinburgh.

Kinda blown away by this little place. Neat owner operated cocktail bar tucked away, well worth the visit.

We went on a Sunday, it's quite an intimate cocktail bar and the drinks tasted great and looked the part. They have a selection of house cocktails which is what we had and both were thoroughly enjoyable. It was quiet when we went but I imagine it will be busy on Friday and Saturday.
