Our dishes were very tasty with fresh ingredients and served with warm smiles.

Absolutely superb place for both food and staff. My partner and I went here 2 days in a row and tried both the pho and the banh mi. The serving sizes are large, the food was fresh, and the taste was excellent. The first night we had an older gentleman serve us and give us directions on how to eat the pho using the side dishes provided. The second night we had an older lady happily chat to us about Vietnam while our food was being prepared. Both times we felt the staff were attentive and super friendly. Would highly recommend 👌

I ordered Vietnamese egg coffee, beef noodle soup . Delicous and authentic Vietnamese foods. Staffs are so friendly and helpfully. I will highly recommend this restaurant in Edinburgh. One more thing is so good location just take 5-10 minutes from Edinburgh Waverley station .

Filthy toilets, no drying hands facilities, and toilet covered in dust and ceiling covered in mould - see photo. The food was fairly good. Music was kinda annoying, sounded more like bar music.

Never had such a friendly waiter! We did some sudoku together and even shared some stories. The food was good, very tasty summer rolls for example. We ordered tea, which was constantly refilled and it did not even cost much in the end. Would recommend 10/10! The only thing I would Feedback to the owner is, that I would favour calmer music, but that's totally subjective!

There were flies swarming the food they used and it was just sitting out. The staff and fellow customers kept staring at us constantly. I asked for no onion in my pho and they asked for clarification and even though I repeated that I didn't want onion, they still put loads of onion in. Also the "mango smoothie" is just normal blended rice pudding and my friend hates rice pudding.

Was on holiday for couple or days but this place takes top spot of all days. Owner was very warm and welcoming. The food was a giant portion but soooo good I just kept eating and eating. Top marks even felt comfortable enough to sip the bowl as I can when at friends. Highest marks ♥️

The cooks and wait staff were fun and attentive. This pho was so needed on a cool, Scottish day and it's enough to feed you for several days!

It's plentiful and delicious. One rice noodle and a roll would be enough for two women. For one thing, it's hard to eat it all by yourself. The owner and staff are very friendly.

Delicious pho with a summer roll.

Lunch beef pho, huge bowl enough for two to share, loads of beef. £16 crazy value and I think perhaps the best pho in Edinburgh out of eight restaurants. And their prawn summer rolls only £4. AND no nonsense service charge.

The Pho here is just amazing. This is a Vietnamese speaking with more than 20 years of having Pho. Please try the Pho tai lan - the rare beef Pho. Just magical for a cold raining Highlands day.

The elderly boss was very friendly while one of the young employees kept staring at us. It just felt weird and uncomfortable.

Really excellent tofu bánh mì - there were very minimal options for vegetarians (just the bánh mì or summer rolls) but what they did have was exceptional! Super friendly service and a warm welcome with a quick turnaround on a Friday night. Looking forward to going back and trying the coffee next time.

10/10 delicious Vietnamese food, so flavourful and comforting. Been meaning to try this place forever because I stand at the nearby bus stop and smell the food, and it did not disappoint! Get yourselves on Tripadvisor so word will spread because I wish I’d heard about this place sooner!

This Vietnamese restaurant is highly recommended for its authentic Vietnamese decor and genuine dining experience provided by its Vietnamese staff. 🇻🇳 The pricing is reasonable and typical for the area. 💲 One area for improvement is the banh mi baguette, which could be more similar to traditional Vietnamese bread for a more authentic experience. 🥖

The chicken pho broth was excellent. The chicken was cooked very nicely. The coffee with condensed milk was absolutely delicious and it is presented in a very nice candle cup holder. I am glad I didn’t ask for it to go! It was a treat! Restaurant is nicely decorated, nice vibe. Owners/staff very friendly. I would definitely come again!

We got absolutely looked after in this establishment. Everything on the menu slaps, I had pork belly with a coconut based broth and i got lost in the flavour. Unreal stuff , you can tell that all staff genuinely care that you enjoy their food and that just translates into a great experience. Will be back ASAP.

Simply the best pho I've ever had. I am usually very picky for this dish as it's one of my favorites, but their broth is truly amazing. Most other times there is usually a need to add sauces, but not this one. I highly recommend this place.

Simplistic place, and definitely authentic. “No. 1” on the menu is the go to suggestion. It was flavourful and hearty, you will be served with utmost respect and kindness. Amazing overall.

One Bite, Everyone Knows The Rules! I ordered a number 1 beef pho with the ice viet coffee and a banh mi to go. The pho came with a big portion of noodles and beef i was very happy about that. Score 8/10 The ice viet coffee comes with condense milk on the bottom as usual and tasted great. Score 8/10 The Bahn mi i ordered to go i was not very happy with. I think the bread was not my favorite because I’m so use to Lee’s Sandwiches in California which is King. They have really good baguettes. I ended up picking the meat out and tossing the rest. 3/10

I used to live in Hanoi last year and since I left I’ve been missing the Bún chả. This was the closest to what I used to get except way more meat and less salad (lettuce and no Perilla :( ) All in all the people were lovely and the food delicious… I only wish they had Perilla something I miss from Hanoi. Of course it’s pricey but after you taste it you won’t regret it! I didn’t get the Phở but boy the aroma was amazing! Next time!

Amazing amazing place to eat! This is the freshest food I've tasted in Edinburgh, and we've been to more than 70 restaurants in Edinburgh! I'm surprised how they dont charge more!!!! Amazing tasting Vietnamese food!!! At first we were a bit hesitant due to the take away style of the menu, but the dine in experience and the amazingly tasty food made this one of the best restaurants for us!!! Will come here again, very often, while the prices are so low! Need to know where they get food that's so deliciously tasty!

We were drawn in by the enticing aroma of Vietnamese pho. As Vietnamese, it was a delight to find Vietnamese cuisine in Edinburgh's chilly weather. The Northern-style pho, prepared by a Vietnamese chef, truly hit the mark. The staff were incredibly cheerful. It's definitely worth a visit for both foreigners and Vietnamese tourists alike.

I've always been in the hunt for good Vietnamese food and have tried many Vietnamese restaurants in Scotland and most of them were disappointing. But this restaurant is really the best. The Pho soup is full of flavour, and it can be easily considered a very good Pho even when compared with restaurants in Vietnam! Plus the staff is lovely and always greet you with a smile. If you like Pho, come and try this place, you won't be disappointed. I highly recommend Pho with garlic beef ;)

The food is very delicious and authentic! We ordered beef pho, spring roll and baguette, the portion is big too! The male staffs always friendly and fast. They are hard working, I saw they have to cook and work on front of house as well. Hope that they are paid well!!!! Everything is good except one table of customers are talking too loud.

I had a delicious, flavourful & generous meal here. The food is authentic and packed full of flavour. The portions are great. All the staff are lovely. I was just a tad unlucky in that i sat at the back of the restaurant where new tables were being built so that was a bit noisy, but other than that, its a lovely little restaurant

Everything we ordered were really delicious. Pho (best in town), spring rolls, fresh rolls. Vietnamese coffees. Staff are very friendly and accommodating too.

Absolutely amazing place! Portions are very generous and the food is very flavoursome and tasty. The food is very healthy too, lots of fresh and aromatic ingredients that are subtley blended to give some nice, unique flavours. I feel it's very overlooked and am in some ways in two minds about this review as on the one hand I feel it's great and deserves more recognition and on the other I want to eat all their yummy food myself. Great place, great food, lovely atmosphere and really nice vibes from the owners (they genuinely care).

I dined alone and ordered 2 items at £16 and £3. The food was good but the waitress looked as if she was medicated and the owner added £2 onto my bill for no apparent reason.

Such a fantastic place! Food is fantastic, people are lovely and there’s a back room too with even more tables so heaps of room. I had the beef and garlic noodle broth which was so tasty, and a huge portion. Everyone else in the group was really happy with their meals too, and we will definitely come back and tell others too.

As we passed by the shop, the aroma of rich broth drew us in! We ordered the rare beef and roasted duck rice noodle soup, fried beef rice noodle, and seafood spring rolls. Every dish was fantastic, especially the flavourful broth! The owner recommended the egg coffee and iced Vietnamese coffee, both perfectly sweet and delicious! Lovely Vietnam family run restaurant, father was very friendly, and the prices were reasonable with generous portions. We'll definitely be back to visit next time in Edinburgh!

I really loved the summer rolls and Pho with with brawn’s. Everything was really fresh, cooked in front of us and tased great. I added a bit more fish source and the sauce that they had on the table but the dishes would have been great even without it. Staff was really polite and friendly. We loved the place so much that we went back twice within our short stay. Thank you!

Food was 20 minutes late, one item of my order was missing and delivery driver left the front door to my building open so pretty disappointed with both the resturant and the Just Eat delivery service.

Three bowls of Pho: one has an insect bathing in there, one has an eyebrow hair or lash, haven’t found anything in mine yet. Real surprise. Edit: now the owner is imagining a new story, how innovative. I’ve seen other reviews tried with lengthy explanations and solid evidences but all have been proven to be futile. Hope everyone gets what they deserve at the end.

I've eaten here twice and both times were great. Between my husband and I we've tried 4 different banh mi and every one has been delicious. The coffee is good. The staff are friendly and service was quick. Love this place.

We come as tourists 🇲🇽, the dishes are huge, the food is delicious, they have vegan options and a hot chilli sauce perfect for the vegan roll We love it a lot!!!!

There’s a short hair in my pho, I’m not sure if it’s an eyelash or eyebrow hair. The waiter didn’t even say sorry or anything else, he just said forget it and walked away!!! And then my friend found a small fly bug is her noodles as well, then the waiter came and said that’s fine and claimed he’s contacting his boss. It’s so disgusting

Enjoy traditional Vietnamese food

The chicken pho and white coffee were really amazing. For a good price, you get a large dish of pho, with a decent amount of chicken, noodles and other vegetables. The service was also really great and the chef regularly checked in to see if everything was alright. The decorations in the restaurant was also very interesting and helped create a bright atmosphere for a sit down meal.
