Great pub, family friendly, dog friendly, great selection of beers. Food was brilliant and very reasonably priced staff brill highly recommended.

Nice pub, reasonable priced beer, sports on the tv, pool table & dart board. Nice atmosphere and plenty of dogs which suited us down to the ground.

Popped in for an evening meal and had a really good night. The lively atmosphere and friendly customers paired with great food and drinks means I'll be visiting more often!

Waited over an hour for 4 meals. Saturday afternoon football on and 1 person behind the bar. Pretty ordinary to be honest. Who ever is publican needs to stop being a tight arse and employee more staff. Pretty average place

I'm a boater and have been exploring as I travel around the canal system. This place is lovely, good food , friendly locals and a pool table which is an absolute plus. Thanks for your hospitality.

Well popped in at 1pm on a Tuesday. No real ale on draft at all as 'I'm cleaning the lines'. Well surely you clean the lines prior to opening. We were the only ones in. No food menu obvious and garden area needs significant love and attention to make it a nice place to sit. Altogether rather disappointing. I'm sure there are better places in Nantwich

Had a great night here watching the Euro 2024 final. We were able to reserve a table, which meant we had a space where our dog (who hates being left alone) was able to sit with us. We’ve been in here several times before as we've passed through on our boat and love that it's dog friendly. We'll definitely call in again when we're in the area.

Had a couple of sides to share, katsu chicken goujons and loaded fries were great! Friendly staff and easy-going vibe. 5/5 review from a 5/5 man.

Stopped here on our canal boat trip. Absolutely delicious meal. The menu has plenty of options, honestly it was hard to pick what to have. Ended up with the Halloumi burger which was cooked to perfection. If you've got any kind of dietary requirements this is the place to go. Lovely pub with lovely people in a lovely town.

We called in here last Sunday, having tried to get into The Cheshire Cat. The Cheshire Cat was humming and we were told that the wait for food was an hour, so we walked on to the Wilbraham Arms. One person was eating, which should have been a red flag, but we were incredibly tired and hungry, so we ordered a Sunday lunch. I can't begin to describe how awful the meal was. The veg was a mushy mixture of chilly, cheese-covered globs, obviously rehashed, the potatoes were nothing like potatoes, more like dry Smash lumps. I could go on, but it's too depressing. The beer was very nice but when I complained about the food, the response was "oh, sorry, I'll tell the chef" before we paid the bill. Never again!

I'm so relieved to have finally found somewhere who accepts me for who I am. 10 years ago my hair fell out and, disgusted, my wife left me for a younger man with flowing golden locks. I have spent the last decade being hounded out of pubs, coffee shops and churches because of my offensive appearance. Thanks to the Wilbraham Arms, I can now look forward to spending my twilight years sharing merry anecdotes with other members of the follicly challenged community without prejudice or discrimination. Visited the Wilbrahams on my lunch break. I found everyone to be incredibly welcoming and friendly. There was a wide range of options on the food menu, I went with the grilled cheese sandwich and was not disappointed! Generous portions, great value for money and friendly staff.

Curry and a beer for £13 on Tuesday what's not to like and excellent curry it was too, we'd certainly go back again

Undisciplined staff - boomer customers - nice beer but unacceptably bald customers

A call to the owners! Actually I'd like to make a change to my review. The vaping in here is too much. The patrons are hostiles and the staff are siding with the vaping patrons, when challenge about vaping. Our group had members who are asthmatic and the staff sided with the patrons who were aggressive. The Wilbrahams used to be a welcoming place after tonight i will be reviewing if I go there. The Oddfellows stops vaping indoors if you want to sit in peace. I hope the Wilbrahams follows and bans indoor vaping. There is a garden for a reason.

New owners Cat and Buck are amazing hosts lovely little pub New menu recently added called for lunch today and food was perfect Highly recommend

Absolutely smashing food with a newly renovated kitchen and new chef. Had the Croque Madame which was unbelievably good. Enough so to order Panko Breaded Halloumi fries with a katsu sauce later that day and a Sunday roast the following. If I could score more I would. Absolutely outstanding

Great loaded fries with blue cheese and buffalo sauce and a chicken grilled burger with blue cheese and avocado…. Was a perfect place to watch todays F1 race in sky sports Also, must say that the atmosphere was great but the service was definitely the best

Such a shame the heart has been torn out of this once lovely interior. Was a historic old pub with wood panelling, original old doors and separate bars. Now one big space with several large screen TVs on the walls dominating the whole pub and making it difficult to have a conversation without shouting. Awful choice of beers and all served chilled. Couldn't wait to leave and find somewhere calm and relaxing.

As a michellen star chef I walked in on a Thursday afternoon and bar staff who ended up being the owner couldn't of been more welcoming had a few beers first the my colleague and friend wanted a sandwich and nothing was to much trouble and was delivered with fresh bread and all the sides I more than recommend this superb in my words coming from east London Proper Pub

Great people, great food, Great atmosphere

Very good service by the young ladies at the bar, and they were very much on the ball, along with a nurse who had just called in for a drink after work, when the parties host became unwell half way through. Thank you.

I observed that this is run by a family who are on their toes to meet visitors demands and orders. Being part of the busy area, this is very sought place. Food was above my expectations, well served. Staff is very nice and trying to offer best services. Was busy when we visited but I think you can get seats without long wait

Myself &my husband went to sample their new breakfast menu this weekend, and boy we were not disappointed . Hubby had the big breakfast 🍳 and it was BIG, I had the muffin, both of us agreed it was Delicious and such good value for money Will certainly be returning VERY SOON. Absolutely fantastic place ! We called up book a table for our anniversary , when we arrived they had gone through the trouble of lighting us some candles and putting heart placements out , absolute lovely touch! We also have visited with our 2 children! The staff are absolutely wonderful with the kids , always happy accommodate for all and so friendly ! Have recommended to friends and family as alway a pleasant visit and the food is delicious, all home cooked and fresh always leave with happy smile and full tummy !!

Absolutely disgrace this place is and not a nice landlady at all stale beer when I made a complaint the landlady got very threatening to my partner and challenged him to come over the bar to her we had children with us what a disgrace to see this once nice place turn into a dump

Great pub set on Welsh Row, usually has 4 real ales on at a good price, plenty of TV's for the football with BT and Sky Sports on offer and food looks incredible and again reasonably priced.

Great little place for a few beers, darts pool and karaoke

Had a quick drink in this lovely pub. It is spacious with lovely comfy seats around. They also had games to play which was a lovely added extra.

We had breakfast today for my grandsons 15th birthday, 9 adults 4 children, drinks were quickly served and the food all came out together. The food was delicious and lots of it. Very good service, will definitely come back 😊

Basic pub, dog friendly beer garden, but tarmac instead of grass. Good beer and food prices. Had run out of most items on the menu early Sunday lunch. Music was tip top

Traditional pub with hood atmosphere

Went on Saturday 25/9/21 a band called Stepping Lane was playing, the first band I've seen since the end of lock down had a fantastic night. Good selection of beer, friendly helpful staff. Went back following day for an excellent Sunday roast dinner. Will definitely go again if ever I'm in the area

Fabulous service from Sam and her team. They provided a takeaway Christmas dinner for our family and delivered it to our canal boat. Even included crackers! Much prefer to support a local business for just this kind of bespoke service.

Ian, Sam and the team do an absolutely fantastic job. The drinks are extremely well priced, and the food is absolutely stunning. Definitely worth a visit.

The new landlords Ian and Sam are doing a great job here. The Sunday roast was excellent, as was the desert and cheese board. Pricing is very reasonable and hosts are very professional and friendly.

Went for a meal tonight and everything was perfect from start to finish, all very well presented too, had my favourite meal New York chicken 😀. Staff are friendly and very welcoming cant wait to go back for some more food. Cant reccomend this place enough, also follow strict covid rules and clean after everytime someone leaves

If you go to Nantwich you have to pay this pub a visit. Especially if it's a bingo night. The lads who own it are brilliant. They make you feel so welcome. Well worth dropping in for a drink... Or two!

Yes this place is one of the top ones in this market town since the owners turned it around Great music and entertainment and in top 5 public houses in Nantwich Food on occasions too .. beer good, pricey ? Well compared to rest of town on a par for what you get Worth a visit if passing through

The wilbrahams is run by a gay couple called Ben and Wayne. Wayne is a lovely chap but sadly Ben is a pompous arrogant man who is not the host one would hope for. If you visit, make sure it is Wayne who serves you or you may find yourself regretting spending your money there!

I've been in this place several times in the past. And every time I went there it had new owners. Me and my fiance where out on Saturday to see the battle of Nantwich. We've decided afterwards to find somewhere to have a drink. We've walked passed Wilbraham Arms and decided to go in as the owners have changed again since our last visit,so we were quite curious to see what's changed. And I've got to admit a lot has changed! This place has gained it's atmosphere finally!! Before it just didn't feel quite right I felt like it was always a bit more of a restaurant and cocktail place but not very trendy. Now it's more of a proper pub.Really good inviting vibe in there.I felt very relaxed. Originally we planned to only have one drink but we really liked the place, so we've stayed for few. We've even had a bit of a chat with the owners who were serving behind the bar. What a lovely two young blokes!Really nice people.They have life music events and if you need something to eat they do food there as well which we've not had a chance to try yet but we definitely need to go and try it out.Apparently it supposed to be very good. So well recommend this place guys if you've not a chance to see what's changed in there then you need to go as check it out.

Fabulous Pub recently taken over by Fantastic Gay Couple Wayne and Ben who have done a magnificent job in turning this large pub into a great entertainment venue! Recently painted and also new signs outside. Car park at rear and smoking area. Pool table, great live music and entertainment on a Saturday night! Friday night is Karaoke night. Sunday lunches (although not eaten here yet) Not many real ales (although the one I recently tried was excellent, I prefer real ale) but they make up for it with the great atmosphere! Highly recommended pub.

It was an absolute pleasure. They had a dj, and the atmosphere was brilliant. Well done to the wilbraham arms........I'm drunk.
