Great old fashioned bar .No food just Great beer and jukebox...

Went for Xmas staff night out food under cooked and cold the bar very cold had to put coat on excellent staff

Loved it place was jumping on saturday night live band on and good atmoshere, prices were reasonable seemd to have a lot of locals in all friendly and would go back in a heartbeat a little further than i would normally travel for a night out but if you do i would reccomend the white swan even without live band pub is great

Accused my son who's just turned 18 of his driving licence being fake and wanted to keep a hold of it, as it was fake. I told them I had just paid for it, and it wasn't fake, and we left and went elsewhere. He used it everywhere else no problem. Don't try and use your driving licence as ID here, as they will try and take it off you. Not the best experience.

Great bar with excellent live music at weekends

I'm a regular at weekends, always a good live band on. Good atmosphere and usually busy, slight down side obviously is getting served sometimes. Another couple of bar staff would help.

It's a bit of a spot and sawdust pub, with the regulars being quite loud and aggressive. Made me feel uncomfortable

Nice place for drink and nearly half the price of the Black Bull , its my 2nd fav place drink, my 1st fav is the wetherspoon in morpeth

what a great team !! hygiene was at its best. felt so comfortable throughout our time in the establishment..we were a party of 6 and although the atmosphere not S it should be due to covid we could not of asked for better service. social distancing came first ..i commend the staff especially when they had to put up with some awful comments from people who they had to refuse entry due to numbers. well done all !! definitely go again and definitely recommend !!

Had a good time here. It was a Thursday night and the pub had a band in. Certainly livend up the evening.

Nice hotel with comfortable beds and a great function room.

I have only been here twice. My first time was to play a gig as a deputy with a well known local Ska outfit several years ago, and the second was this evening. I fired in two quick Smith's around teatime. At £2.70 a throw, coming from Toon, I thought that was awesome. Good drinkers vibe in there it is. No kids, no Babysham which is absolutely spot on. There's a few decent TVs showing sports and MTV type stuff and the wireless wasn't too loud blurting out the dukebox selection. Whilst I don't hit Morpeth much ever, I know this will be a go to spot for a good beer if I'm local again.

Decent little place this. We were only in for about half hour or so but I enjoyed the place. But of music, nice enough drinks and the atmosphere was good. Wish we had stopped longer but we wanted to enjoy as much of the area we could. I'll definitely pop in again if I'm around.

It seems to be a meeting place for many to start their night as it's usually got a good crowd and atmospheric to get the night off to a good start.

Friendly enough. Had some good night's here upstairs in Cygnet room. That was 1974 mind you.
