Very nice place for a pint with the locals. No tourist trappings. Pool table was in decent shape - at 1£ a play, stay for a bit.

Friendly staff, great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Football matches are always shown and there is plenty to do there, with the pub having a pool table and dart board. Would highly recommend.

Dans l'assiette de fish & chips que j'avais commandé, il y avait un 1/2 citron souillé de ketchup. Je soupçonne que celui ci venait de l'assiette d'un précédent client. Sinon comment aurait-il pu avoir des traces de ketchup ? Ce n'est pas très sérieux. Cela dénote d'un manque de rigueur et d'hygiène. D'autres part, les assiettes sales cheminent dans le même monte-charge que les plats servis sur table. C'est strictement interdit en France, je ne sais pas si ces règles d'hygiène s'appliquent outre-manche. Je déconseille cet établissement qui ne semble pas très à cheval sur les règles de propreté.

Great pub, longest standing landlord in Egham, very clean and tidy. Bar staff very friendly and know what they are doing. Everything is run professionally, nothing is a problem. Nice to see a dartboard, and a pool table A proper old drinking establishment,. Well worth a visit, if you are in Egham. I will definitely have return.

Sunday Lunch was lovely with tender lamb and plenty of summer veg. Great atmosphere with friendly staff.

Travelled down from Hull visiting friends, been here before and the Pub never changes, friendly staff and regulars, nice quaint oldy world style pub with ample parking at rear. Shame about choice of football clubs supported but hey its what you expect. Will call again.
