Always a good time and good value

Spacious pub with beer garden. Friendly staff and fair food.

I recently visited this pub, and as always, the atmosphere was fantastic. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is top-notch. Highly recommend!

Good! Standard Wetherspoon food, as you would expect

Mixed grain salad, ok for a starter but not for a 10 quid main. Disappointed.

Quite impressed with the rear garden, but not the frontage. I had the heathy fiesta brunch for breakfast with unlimited hot drinks for around a fiver. Plenty of room inside with a large open plan and small private hideaways. Some interesting descriptions of the history of Norwich on the walls.

Usual range at wetherspoons. Has a lot of parking . Good for breakfast if your kotel does not do it.

First time in The Whiffler, went and had a drink, the place is very clean, staff are very friendly, there is some nice out side space to sit, gets very buzzy at weekends, could not find any think wrong with the place at all, would reconmend it.

The food was bland the steak that I've had was overcooked and chewy i didn't even get everything that i order ,so i will pass the whiffler next time .

Good location and good parking, even on a main road. Food was pretty good and even though the steak was not cooked to our liking, they replaced it quickly and without fussed. Then it was good.

Great outdoor space inside lacks flow , something is lacking in the ambience

We are regulars in there the bar staff are rude sometimes and u can clearly see there is one person selling drugs outside the pub selling to one lady bar staff and the manager is aware if this I thinking shocking. No wonder why the pub is quiet and going down hill very fast the mangers should ashamed will never go back and 1 old guy has been banned for speaking up.

Went here for tea last night with a friend. Barman gave me a dirty glass, completely with lip and finger marks all over it. Tried to tell me it was salt scratched from the dishwasher. Tables were sticky. Food not great and plates were just slapped down on the table by two people who continued their conversation while doing so. Toilets were clean though.

Food was reasonable,no complaints.

Waitress collecting glasses was dismissive when I thanked her. Is it so hard to acknowledge?

Friendliest serving staff in Norwich

I enjoyed the Raman bowl. My friend had the all day brunch. When seagulls attacked our meals, staff were very understanding and replaced our meals for free. I love the range of beers available. Just a good chain pub, that really does do what I like a local pub to do.

The Whiffler is such a mixed bag of things. I imagine it as the 'bar in purgatory' in that some aspects are truly awful, but ultimately it does its job just fine. If you're just looking for drinks and a bit of colour then this is a great little stop off with plenty of parking and a considerable beer garden situated next to a busy ring road. That being said, the food here is not good. I'd prefer to have a little wander to the McDs next door that eat anything here.

It's a nice place to meet friends for a catch-up.

We visited the Whiffler Wednesday evening for a meal with my wife and her Parents. There were plenty of tables available as it wasn't too busy we could chat and enjoy our meal all the food was well prepared and presented. I had the large mixed grill see photo Thanks to all the Staff at the Whiffler

Had a lovely lunch with my mates yesterday. Had the chilli beef. Mmmm. It was really tasty. And being a coffee drinker I had the refills. Great coffee. Wanted to take the machine home with me lol. Since my last review I have been here LOADS of times. With my husband mainly. Its the refill hot drinks & Scampi & chips that keep us coming back. Its a definite monthly ritual we come here. Sometimes more.

Positively The Whiffler doesn't have the typical "spoons" atmosphere. It's away from the city of Norwich, so there's no typical crowds in here like students. Staff are lovely, food was served quickly and served hot, also its very clean in this spoons. They also serve steak here.

Parking absolute nightmare food bland

The Whiffler is an excellent Wetherspoons. There was a good selection of quality cask conditioned real ales. It is a nice cosy pub and rare to find a Wetherspoon's with a car park. The staff were very friendly and efficient, and even though it was very busy we didn't have a long wait for the food. The burgers and the curry were excellent.

Went for breakfast, I had a big English breakfast, and my mum had a classic muffin, both really nice.

Went there for tea Had fish, chips mushy peas, when served sadly chips and mushy peas were like warm, but complained to a member of staff who took it away and cooked me it fresh including the fish excellent service

The Whiffler is always busy, probably because of the value for money food and drink. Where else can you get a pint of beer for £1.79 ? The service was quick and the food is reasonable quality especially for the price. I would recommend it for anyone on a tight budget as an alternative to the fast food chains.

This Wetherspoons was outside Norwich. So I expected it to be quieter but no, just as popular! We did get seats, though, toilets on ground floor .

Great pub 4 a cheap bit of grub n plenty of coffee

Food not that good. Meat pudding overcooked and hard. Mash had hard lumps. Not that hot and gravy served separately in a jug was cold and thick. Not impressed this time. 😕 Will eat elsewhere next time. Dessert was good, chocolate crunch with ice cream & chocolate sauce.

Went in for breakfast and was busy but the service for the lady behind the bar was 10 out 10 the breakfast was well presented and hot the lady brought to the table with smile will definitely go back again

Best value for money, amazing place. Prize pint of Abbott ale for just £2.70. Just love Weather spoons. Also they take cash. Everyone keep using the cash. Keep the ultra wealthy corporate banks off your money

Really great afternoon menu. Haven't been to the Whiffler for many years and I didn't disappoint.

Sometimes it's good. Sometimes it's not so good. Always fast. Always cheap. Good value meal deals to be had.

Nothing much to say other than it was amazing as always. I have to give a special mention to the staff though, they were so helpful when certain things from my order were missing (busy shift = forgetting small things, no problem tho😄)

I know wetherspoons is very much you get what you pay for but this hot a new low. We waited 45 minutes for a breakfast without being told about a wait. When it did finally arrive there were items missing and it was cold. The young girl running food was brilliant. Super apologetic and sorted it very quickly. It's the kitchen staff that seem to let this place down On another previous occasion we had cold fold and the manageress couldn't care less. It was the same young girl that sorted everything for us. (Didn't catch her name) The place itself has some amazing outside space at the be back but that's the only positive thing unfortunately. Easily the worst wetherspoons in Norwich. If you can, go to one of the others.

I've been in for breakfast a few times. All were very poor! Burnt and cold at the same time I eat in lots of different Wetherspoons. This is not up to their standard

The one Spoons I would never visit again.

Been coming here every year for work for the past 4 years. But tonight, was greeted by a very unfriendly manager. Was simply trying to have a a nice relaxing evening having drinks after a long drive, but felt so unwelcome, we decided to leave. Such a shame. If we were being rowdy, I would have understood. But the spark to his rudeness was when a friend of ours simply ordered some stuff for us from home. We were told this was our “final warning”!?

Service is good and atmosphere is alright because there is a park nearby if you have kids.The only downfall to this pub is that i had to wait 40 - 50 minutes for a small,kinda cold breakfast wrap.If you want to come here for food make sure you are patient.

We were just there to have lunch. The food was just OK. No real atmosphere. It's just a pub on a busy street.
