Out of the way pub but made very welcoming

Love the Wheatsheaf. Bit tired but always xx pleasure to go too. Staff great and make you welcome. Been visiting on and off for 50 years

Popped in for a drink after walking along the nearby canal on a lovely sunny day. Typical ‘estate’ boozer, poor selection of drinks and cash only.

Nice local pub friendly staff beer was cheap would have been a 5 Star had it had cider on draught at the time

Moored up at Bumble Hole and needed a pint. £3.50 for a Carling and ice cold. It was a work day so place was empty.

Rubbish service by a bull dog chewing a wasp. Paid on card the week before then asked to pay cash. Not always open

Pleasant place 2 visit, nice people. You can walk over the Nature reserve on a nice day which is opposite. And it's not on a busy street.

The building is in very poor condition. The bolt on the ladies door was broken in July and is still broken as of yesterday. There wasn't enough toilet rolls, you would think that when you were having a funeral you would put out plenty. The ground outside was very broken up so u would have to take care when walking.

Good traditional pub feel, nice!
