I have a son with learning disabilities and a member of staff (Wanda) was amazing she recognised straight away that he would struggle with his food being on the hot plate and asked if it would be easier for it on a normal plate. He customer service was amazing thank you so much not many recognize his needs but she did. 😊

Had a party of over 20 people, a mix of babies, kids and adults. The staff were absolutely amazing, very well organised especially for how many of us there were, the food was delicious, everyone was happy with each meal, all meals came out close together, which made it more enjoyable to be able to eat together too, baby changing facilities were readily available, one of the babies was quite upset being so young but not once were we frowned upon for it, a couple of us suffer with anxiety but it was that accommodating of a place and a nice little corner to sit in that we managed well. 10/10 service, 10/10 food, 10/10 atmosphere, would highly recommend.

The food in here was really tasty. Haven't been in this pub for many many years and I was pleasantly surprised.

Friendly staff on arrival and easy to order. Kitchen team cook the steak with allowance for the fact it continues to cook on a skillet. Enjoyable visit. Thank you.

Great service delivered by Vicky, Sarah and Jay for a large birthday table. We ordered separately and all the food came together with no issues, they brought out the cake with candles lit, cut it up and delivered it wrapped to the table. Great hospitality, especially given how few team were available. Thank you!

Visit for lunch with two of our daughters. Food first rate. Prices good. Only complaint is we were given two glasses with lipstick marks. Dirty glasses are not acceptable. Evening visit with a friend. Had steaks and beef rib. Meals excellent and served quickly. Vanessa our waitress was very helpful and pleasant.

Fish n chips was not nice. Batter very burnt. Doesn't seem like freshly battered fish at all. Other dishes looked ok.

We booked the corn exchange for Christmas Day and was not disappointed. The service was 10/10, the food was very good and plenty of it and the staff were all very friendly and worked hard. Will deffo be booking for Christmas Day again!

The burger was like charcoal it had gone back to it's carbon state🫣I have never been in a pub and felt so invisible I was close to sticking my hand in the till because i felt like I had Harry potters cape on

Went here tonight £8.20 for a pint of Corrs and a glass of coke. Extortionate price.!! Corrs was flat so asked for it to be changed the girl didn't seem happy about doing it. Ordered food it was absolutely disgusting could not even eat it. So left food and drinks. Will never go here again never had food so bad in all my life.!!!

Good selection of food and great offers throughout the week. Bar section with games such as pool and darts. Great selection of drinks available and good quality too. On the odd occasion food arrives a little cold when the staff are overwhelmed on a busy day. Sometimes look to be understaffed. Other than that, great place to visit regularly for a cheap and cheerful meal with family and friends.

Went here for first time today for my brothers birthday four of place was nice and clean and lots to choose from on menu I had steak which was cooked perfect my bro had mixed grill and sister and sister law had fish n chips we all agreed how amazing the food was came fresh and hot throughly enjoy the food we all did will deffo be back again we all agreed we found our new place for food well done all staff and compliments to the chef great job all of you see you soon

Out for food with a friend and just had the worst meal I've ever eaten The only thing available for me was a cheese mushroom& garlic pie...with gravy????I ve never had gravy with cheese!! It wasn't a pie...but a poor attempt at a quiche....I mean I obviously know its all pre cooked&bought in....but at least try to make it edible...last visit!!!

After we sat down we noticed it wasn't very busy, 3 people behind the bar talking, we ordered from their app. Drinks took 30 mins to arrive then a further 20 mins to wait for food. From start to finish we was their nearly 2 hours. The burger was burnt on the outside but pink on the inside. The staff didn't apologise for the wait won't go here again. The online menu is totally different from the menu on the tables

I was disappointed with my experience. The food arrived cold, and the portions were very small considering the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Having never been before, first impressions were good. I was very pleased with the service & the food was very nice & value for money. Everywhere was clean & tidy & the atmosphere was nice.

We had a Christmas meal here yesterday. The mains was terrible the starters was a joke and pudding was about the best thing and that wasn't fantastic. On the turkey dinner the roast potatoes looked like they were 4 years old and solid as a rock the carrots was from a tin and gravy watered down. I had the Xmas burger thinking it might be something special and trust me it was 😂 it's something I won't forget and won't be trying again. Beef pattie was cremated The chef should be sacked total meal cost for 12 people was £236 and I definitely won't be returning to eat there again. If you want a lovely meal for Christmas go somewhere else this is basically a weather spoons you will be having your Christmas dinner with the local piss heads with music so loud you can't talk to one and other. The bar was rammed and took an ages to get a drink. Some of the staff are fairly friendly and cheerful is the only positive.

We visit the corn exchange regularly as they welcome our dog with treats water and a special dog menu. We eat there and the menu is a culinary delight cooked to perfection. The staff are what really the stars of the show. They are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them. My partner owns a martial arts school and we are having our Christmas party at the corn exchange as we know it will be perfect.

Food was really nice, and a good choice. We had to find the seats we had been reserved as no one was there to greet us. Found it pretty quick though, luckily. Food takes a little while to come but worth the wait.

Avoid using their EV chargers I just got hit with a £170 fine for apparently parking longer than the maximum time permitted eventhough I was parked in the designated EV charging spots and wasn't not charging longer than 50 mins. I've never received a fine before till now.

No wonder it was nearly empty, Got to be the worst burger I've ever had, suppose to be southern spicy. No spice and it had a cumberland sausage on it? with hardly any fries and no side dishes.

Need better service and food was a big disappointment, we were told that the manager would come over but never did. New chef recommended, as I don't think he knew what was on the menu.

this is usually one of our favourite places for food, but we we're totally unimpressed with the "new menu". seems they have taken all the favourites off the menu, no surf turf cluck, no platters, to be honest we we're hard pushed to decide, went with the burgers, not impressed! edible but not much taste and hardly any salad on bun, handful of fries, and 2 onion rings. (portion sizes have reduced considerably ), we had ordered side salad as we like to put extra on , ha ! the portion they bought out was in a smaller pot than the coleslaw! and to charge 2.95, for it I think is absolutely taking the mick. (see photos). I'd like to add that it seemed very messy-untidy unloved, with food on the floor , tables sticky, no cutlery/napkins on some tables, had to go and find on other tables, seems like they have lost their finesse. Sorry, but i think it will be a very long time before we will be visiting here again. ☹️.

Called in for fish & chips today. All burnt and overcooked. 13 chips (bullets) Batter totally burnt, fish chewy and inedible. Took it back, was assured of a refund, which never came. Walked out. Won t be back again. Basically need someone who can cook basic foods and more staff.

Had a meal here. Partner ordered a burger but forgot to ask for the sauce to be removed. Food came and noticed the sauce. More than happy to change it and meal came out within minutes. Hot and fresh

Usual pub food but it tastes decent and never personally had a bad meal. Sports are shown TVs.

I’ve been here for food a few times before and it’s been lovely ,however yesterday I had a hunters chicken and it must of been off or something as I ended up spending the rest of the day throwing up and being unwell and today .

In a party for 10 but speaking only for myself. Turkey dinner not good very disappointing Turkey was a cut off a Turkey roll,veg cold,mash tasteless pigs in blanket burnt, roast pots very nice and yorkie was good. Dessert lovey. Note to self do not order roast dinner again.

Have been eating here for years and parking on the carpark every time. Just had £100 parking fine for staying to eat our meal for an hour and 2 minutes. I have been sent a lovely picture of my car coming into the main entrance and leaving. I have literally just drove back there to check signs and you are now only allowed a 30 minute maximum stay. Firstly not many people will be eating a full meal within 30 mins and frankly you don’t always get your food within 30 mins. Me and my family will no longer be coming back as I can no longer park long enough to enjoy a meal.

Thursday 22 August. First time back here in 5 years. 2x lunch specials. Excellent value tender chicken in my hunters chicken and gammon was perfectly cooked. Served on a skillet with fried onions so a little bit different. There were a number of deals ie bogof on burgers Thursday and classics 2 for £12.49 Monday to Friday. Steaks looked good and a few different twist to meals on menu. Got to mention the staff. There was a young girl serving the food who bought the food out with a smile and checked everything was ok. Also she sprayed and wiped and restocked every table as it was cleared. 5* for that as a lot of places don't do this enough. We will be back as there was a lot on the menu we would like to try. Well done corn exchange.

Came here for food and drinks and the place has dropped lately food is poor and cold and service is shocking and staff are rude and not very pleasant won’t be bringing my money or service back here again, used to be such a lovely family place now it’s a dive needs new management and ownership to make it a great pub again

Lived locally all our lives but never been here before. We should have gone sooner as the food was so good. The drinks are expensive, but everywhere is now. Service was great, staff couldn’t have been nicer.
