We stayed here for one night. The room was disappointing as we did not have a shower. We had dinner at the hotel. The starter was so salty I could not eat it all. The main course was nice but the service went steadily downhill. We were given dessert menus but after 25 minutes we gave up waiting. The main problem being a couple next to us did nothing but moan and were given special attention. Us not being like this were over looked. Disappointing and downright irritating. On checkout the receptionist did not ask how everything was, fix not really seemed interested in guests. I have stayed at the kings head and found the whole experience far superior.

It was my mums birthday and she ordered a margarita and they put salt around the glass instead of sugar!! couldn’t believe it. Slow service and the waitress thought it was funny on top of it all. For a top end restraunt i am quite disappointed will not be coming here again!

This is a lovely setting for lunch if you can sit outside or by the window. The food is nice but nothing special and the service is very slow. I waited 3 minutes to be seated and waited 7 minutes for someone to take my drink order at the bar at lunch. Overpriced for the experience.

Outstanding Staff Member! We’ve recently enjoyed an excellent evening’s dining here. The quality of the food was outstanding. They obviously employ an excellent chef & kitchen staff. However, one outstanding member of staff was Sam our waiter. In particular he addressed my allergy issues in the most favourable way which I have not experienced in any other restaurant, in England or other countries. It was dealt with so sympathetically with any dramas or embarrassing moments, which sadly is not the norm. I really hope the management of the restaurant understands what an asset he is. Thank you Sam 😊

A lovely one-night stay at this hotel in Beccles. Very friendly and helpful staff - our room overlooking the river was large and comfortable with an excellent shower. Breakfast was good, although we would have appreciated more of a selection of fruit such as prunes, fruit cocktail or tinned grapefruit. Coffee especially good. The dinner was delicious and there was a full selection of wines. Paravanni's icecream a highlight! Thank you Lisa and Marie and all of the staff.

My wife and I booked 2 nights in the Waveney House Hotel to celebrate our wedding Anniversary. We were married 30 years ago in St Michael’s Church, Beccles. We were both looking forward to staying in this hotel. 30 years ago we could not afford this venue, instead staying in a more moderately priced local pub. On a positive note, we had an evening meal on our first night. It was enjoyable and afterwards we had a drink outside taking at the fantastic views of the setting sun over the river. But sadly the accommodation was awful. The £120 per night room was small and had stains on the carpet. On both nights we were kept awake by noise from other guests in the car park returning at approx midnight. The bed was very hard and on close inspection was actually broken. I was not able to sleep. At 4:00 one morning, someone tried to open our bedroom door! Probably, the worst thing was that there was no shower! Bath only, narrow and difficult to get in and out of. The bedroom floor was sloping in one direction. The bathroom floor sloped in 2 directions! I would expect this in such an old building in this location but the hotel management should make sure the bed is level, at least. I could actually see the bed sloped - for the second night I managed to make use of the bed runner to level the mattress enough to prevent me feeling I was about to roll off the edge. After our first day, I reported the fact that I was not happy with the room. The receptionist replied immediately, asking “is it the lack of shower?” I replied saying, “yes” and also mentioned the noise and the bed. I asked if we could be moved to another room but we were told that was not possible due to all the rooms being fully booked due to a wedding. The breakfast was adequate even though it looked like it was ‘rationed’. I’ve not seen croissants in plastic wrappers before. Long life, no doubt. I did not try one as they looked so unappetising. I chose a cooked breakfast option but found it to be rather tasteless, unusual for such a meal. There was so much water on the plate, I needed to soak it up with a napkin before eating it. I noticed the tables were dirty, stained and sticky. My wife and I were looking forward to staying in this hotel so much to celebrate 30 years of marriage but we left feeling upset and let down by the hotel and the lack of concern from the staff. If I was to suggest a more realistic price for the stay we experienced, it would certainly be less than half the £120 per night we paid.

My go to place for lunch! I have been going to the Waveney at least once a fortnight for years. I find the service ok but it can get very busy. The staff work hard. It’s a lovely setting by the river. When I have sat inside it can be very stuffy and hot as it’s not air conditioned. The drinks are priced reasonably and the food prices are in line with other local establishments. Only comments I would say are that the menu changes haven’t been that good the past few months. There is lots of flat bread choices but my friend always used to have fish goujon sandwiches which have been taken off the menu. Also veggie meatballs have been taken off the flatbread menu. As a vegetarian there is a fair choice but it would have been nice to have left the veggie flatbread as it was, as not all vegetarians want Halloumi. The vegetarian burger is delicious and also the fennel cold slaw. If you want to add or take items away there is no fuss at all. I do love this place but would like some more veggie options.

Had booked online. Wanted to sit outside as a beautiful day, Sunday July 28th. Booking for 12.15, still waited over 30 minutes for food. Each of 3 meals absolutely delicious & couldn’t be faulted. Could only order drinks from the table. Decided to have a dessert & coffee each & was told I’d have to go inside to join the queue to order. The queue was almost out the door. Would have been teatime before we had it, so declined. Draedful way of doing things when the main course itself was superb. Organisation appalling & strong reluctance to change things. Attitude of “if you’re not happy, go elsewhere, this is how it works”, with no consideration to change the process for the better.

Spent three days at this lovely hotel, room no6 was fantastic, had a tasty meal in the restaurant, staff were all helpful and friendly, will definitely go again .

Meal out with my father whilst he’s visiting. My parents stayed at this hotel for the last two of their 61 Wedding Anniversaries so we have good memories there. Food excellent and the service exemplary. Friendly, helpful staff created a lovely atmosphere.

I had lunch here with a group of retired colleagues and have to say it was a very positive experience. The table (reserved) faced the river - a beautiful view across the Waveney. We could not fault the service - professional, friendly and with a smile. The lunch menu had a good choice and all enjoyed their food. There was also a good choice of ales from the pump. The burger was particularly good. The price range was very reasonable. We will make this our go-to place in future.

This is my 4th visit and everytime the service has been excellent, I prefer the Winter menu to the one just published however the food quality is always very good, and of course if the sun shines the location improves immeasurabley.My only gripe is that next time i will avoid any day with a children's party

Special - Memorable for all the wrong reasons An anniversary dinner from the specials board was so disappointing. A bad cut of meat. The steak special had a thick sinue running heavy through every slice. I couldn't chew it! I had burger in its place. I watched my partner eating as my veg went cold. An underwhelming customer experience. Ouch!

Excellent Hotel, staff are always very helpful, although an old place it is excellent service always very good, food excellent.

Enviable frontage overlooking the river Waveney. The restaurant in particular in the riverside conservatory is a wonderful vantage point. The food too is well cooked and well presented. Why then, only three stars? The hotel decoration is really rather tired. The rooms need refurbishing. Some of the plastic flower arrangements, on the stairs, for example need a good shake to get the dust off. The beer barrels being manhandled outside for collection don’t need to be an alarm clock for all the residents at 06.45am. The coffee machine in the bar/restaurant was already turned off at 9.40pm so no coffee available. ……………….,,,,,,, With a little investment and some fine tuning it could seriously be a 5 star.

Lunch with friends and family. The menu was fairly unadventurous,but the meat free burger seemed,and was,a good choice.The pork chop was very poorly presented,it had to be sent for further cooking,and was tough and tasteless. The garnish with it bore little resemblance to anything suitable to a pork chop. The “steak knife”for cutting it was ineffectual. Puddings were predictable and very average. Generally a meal produced with little care or thought.

A very pleasant stay with my husband. We stayed in room 8,which is up on the top floor, airy and comfortable, with a very high ceilings. The only thing I will say , is the beds were far to soft,so not very comfortable. The room/ hotel is beautifully clean. One thing to note,there is no WiFi in the rooms,but put 4G was ok, it would have been more welcoming if the heating in the room had been put on, as the room was quite cold when we arrived. The breakfast is superb,fresh and lots of it,the view over the river is nice. Its good value for money and well located to the town.

Decided to have a short weekend away sso we chose Waveney House because we have been 3/4 time before so we know it is good. As usual all the staff were great, one word in particialr for Milly, she was really good but as I said all the staff were good. Breakfast was superb.

Arrived to be greeted by a lovely young g lady, and honestly the service was fantastic throughout the whole meal. Friendly, efficient and not over bearing. Food was good on the whole. However the sirloin of beef was very well done on all the roasts. Vegetables also over cooked. Duck bread with noodles was ok, but lacked a little flavour. Desserts however were really good. Little extra of that yummy crème anglaise with the crumble tart! Will definitely return.

When we arrived we were greeted by a pleasant receptionist who booked us in. The reception was lovely with a fire at the end of the entrance area. No lift so had to go up the stairs and as I have a bad back and knees it wasn't ideal. The room was very small and in need of a tidy up. The taps in the en-suite were heavily coated in limescale which needed sorting out. No actual bar area for a drink which is a shame. A few chairs in the restaurant was the only area to sit and have a drink. but the bar lady did clear a dining table for us to sit at. The restaurant is in a large conservatory and it was freezing had to wear a coat to keep warm. The food was excellent but got cold quickly due to the draft and coldness of the conservatory. Therefore didn't stay after dinner as it was too cold. In the morning went down to breakfast and still the restaurant was very cold. As this hotel is quite expensive I was expecting it to be top notch. But a few bits let it down however beautiful location and in the summer I would imagine it would be very popular.

Nostalgic visit to wifes home town where we married in 1971n near to the hotel. Since parents in law passed on , we sold house in about 2019, and have since stayed at the Waveney a few times, though of course I personally have been coming to Beccles since 1969 when I first met my wife. We have always been welcome at the Waveney. Often we have had one of the large rooms overlooking the river, this time were were in Room 4 (Frederick Oates) over where the front door is. Perfectly OK for our requirements of just a one night stay. Staff are always polite and efficient. Very nice dinner in the evening and excellent breakfast, hot food served directly from kitchen, none of that 'hot buffet' business now favoured by many hotels. delicious juicy large field mushroom!. Pity there isnt a newspaper service, I like one first thing in the morning ! Otherwise no criticism. We will be back again !

The food was amazing fast service excellent! We had flat breads and prawn and a bottle of Prosecco which was ice cold as were the glasses . Stokes condiments complimented the food

We visited the Waveney House Hotel in August. We have been going there for several years. It is always a relaxing visit. This Time we were about to leave and I realised a ring was missing from my finger. I looked all around our room and in the suitcases and couldn't find it. I went to reception to ask to borrow some rubber gloves to check the bin in the toilets. Amy was on duty and immediately said she would look for me. After rummaging for a few moments she found the ring. I was so grateful to her as she did not hesitate to help me. This is a lovely hotel and we will return for many years to come.

The location is excellent for a riverside drink and/or meal but expensive - £23 for a bottle of Pinot Grigio! We did not eat here even though we were staying overnight. We have stayed here before and liked the river side ambience and clean, cosy room. We walked into Beccles Centre (up some very steep steps) and had a decent meal and drink at Wetherspoons for a lot less cost. We did eat breakfast at the Waveney as all-in with the room charges. Again, nice to sit by the river and the breakfast was very good (Eggs Benedict)! They have a range of cereals, fruit, yogurt, fruit juices, etc. Rooms here are clean, cosy and fresh! We had a walk-in double shower in our en-suite bathroom. It is a nice venue; shame it gets so very busy on nice sunny days. Guests compete with casual drinkers/diners for a table by the river which makes it all a bit frustrating if you have nowhere to sit. We were luck as a couple had just vacated their table as we arrived….so a bit hit and miss. We were here on a Monday, so goodness knows how busy it must get on a Friday/Saturday/Sunday. Do make sure to register your car when you arrive for an overnight stay, or even just for a drink.

Having had a quiet drink by the riverside, we booked for dinner later the same evening. An truly outstanding menu which completely lived up to billing. Service was faultless and all in a high-end, beautifully appointed dining area with an inside/outside vibe. The only criticism, and it's minor, was that the drinks were perhaps a little over-priced. Overall, a very high-quality dining experience.

Enjoyed a great lunch on the terrace by the river. Really good food and great beer. We had cod goujons which were very tasty and a large portion. Dogs allowed on terrace!

We had a lovely meal at this restaurant. We were unsure due to negative reviews but went anyway. The staff were friendly, attentive and professional. Meal was tasty and had fantastic views of the river with a pleasant atmosphere. Would go back again.

The first time we visited the food was fantastic. However, it wasn’t quite as good later in the week. As someone who needs both gluten free and dairy free meals this restaurant made it easy to choose by printing an individual menu for me. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. There is a good atmosphere in the restaurant and lovely views from the windows.

Rarely have I been more surprised. We booked in for a Sunday Lunch expecting a classic Sunday Roast very similar to what we experienced earlier in the year. The only option was a roast in a ciabatta roll not a roast at all and we ended up having a couple of steaks which were average unlike the excellent roast we had had previously. Until things change we won’t be back.

This is the second time we have been here and as usual it is well worth it. Food is excellent, glasses and plates are quickly cleaned when people have finished eating and drinking, staff are very helpful, we will be back.

We enjoyed our meals and they were hot and delivered really efficiently. The breakfast was brilliant. My only comment would be that as someone who needs gluten free options after 3 nights I had run out of options on the menu but if you do not need this then you will be fine, lots of choice.

Faultless evening out at the Waveney. We had three courses and drinks and couldn't fault the food or service.Our party is a mix of veggies & non veggies and we were all catered for, from the delicious Tempura feta and chicken liver pate to Veggie mezze, goats cheese souffle, fish and chips and Gambas Pil Pil.Dessert was the amazing vegan biscoff cheesecake and lemon meringue pie.Many thanks to all staff for a lovely evening.

We were staying at the Hotel for a few days and it was often most convenient to eat dinner there, instead of going out. Service was most attentive, the food was good, and the eating area (for breakfast as for all other meals) was in a comfortable and spotlessly clean conservatory with good views of the swans and boats on the River Waveney, just outside.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch outside by the river. Svice was efficient and the food was excellent. Highly recommended.

I have been coming here for years, as my family live near Beccles and accept the superb location adds value.However, I do feel that the experience has suffered recently.If you want a drink with some friends, then this is an excellent place.We came here for some food and were informed that there we currently no spaces outside, which was fine and so we were willing to wait. We were told the next available space would be given to us.At which point we were then just left to sit about, not offered a drink and then ignored. Frustratingly, the next person to request a seat outside was allowed straight through! We had to enquire ourselves as to whether or not there was now a space outside, as I am not sure we would have been remembered.The food is pretty good, but the prices do not tally up. Obviously you're paying for the location, but there still does need to be great service and good to help justify this... and these two elements are lacking. The service is particularly poor.Finally, we tried to order drinks and eventually flagged down a member of staff. Unfortunately, the drinks never arrived after 20 minutes of waiting.We were tired of waiting, so we flagged down another member of staff for the bill... the bill was brought to us in under 1 minute! We went elsewhere to continue our evening.

I pre-booked an evening meal by email prior to a short stay in Beccles, as one granddaughter has a peanut allergy. I was rung back by Vicki to discuss and she assured me all possible measures would be taken which was great. We actually went for lunch there and was amazed by the quality, quantity and value of the food. Met Vicki on the way out and was lovely to meet her and say hi and thank you! Evening meal was really good and enjoyable and can highly recommend. Very pleasant staff too.

A few friends and myself came here for lunch, it is a beautiful place just a shame about the service.We were greeted by a server who was not welcoming or helpful when we enquired about table restrictions as we totalled 7 in our party. When we did get to sit down a waitresses milled around but were not busy. One in particular was leaning up against the bar chatting to the boy behind. I had to wave them over to get attention and when they saw me wave and heard me asking to order, the waitress said in a rude way im just coming and carried on adjusting her visor and chatting to the boy.When she did come she wasnt listening properly and it took a while to order. When our food arrived being bought to the table by several different waiting staff but not the original one. There was mix ups with the food and one of my friends didnt have theirs at all. It took a while for this to be sorted. When we tried to pay for the food no-one was coming to take payment eventually we got the attention of a waitress again standing by the bar, who looked at us and carried on talking, one of my group then mentioned we needed to go soon, to the waitress and they still didnt come so we went up to the bar to pay. It was a shame as the surroundings are beautiful. The service spoilt our time here.

We were served by Mia who was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable, we both had the Gambas Prawns both Gluten free. They were really good and we sat by the river, the dog was welcome outside and he was given water.We felt very welcome and will definitely go there again.

We called into Beccles for the night on our boating holiday and dropped into the hotel restaurant on the off chance of a table. It was very busy and we were very lucky to get a table. The food was excellent and the setting of the hotel by the river is just gorgeous. What a fabulous place and highly recommended!

Popped here for a tea and light lunch perhaps. Advised to pop onto the terrace and we would be waited on there. Not busy inside or out and yet we were forgotten. Enjoyed the view a while and left. Shame.

The Beautiful setting near the river was a pleasant surprise as it was our first visit.The friendly service was prompt and attentive There was plenty of choice and the lamb shank was beautifully cooked.The covid restrictions were carefully adhered to making it a safe environmentWe all said it was a venue we would like to return to especially in the summer with all the outside seating near to the river.

Decided to visit this establishment as it looked lovely being on the river bank.There were a few vacant tables on the terrace. Clearly states the hotel is open to non residents. Arrived around 4pm to be greeted by a member of staff.We were asked if we'd booked, we hadn't.Then told there was no space outside even though there clearly was!We were told all vacant tables were reserved for residents.Couple vacated a table so we asked if we could sit there. Denied yet again! Staff member clearly didn't want us there, very snobby &rude.It looks like a lovely venue but they clearly only want residents.Definitely won't be going there again!

Had dinner here for a birthday celebration and it was fabulous.Despite the forewarning of strict C19 restrictions at the time of booking, the evening went extremely well.The staff were patient and polite, the limited (due to C19) menu had something for everyone, and the food and wine were of very good quality, especially the apple tart & caramel ice cream dessert!The ambience was fine & the clientele of a mature nature.We'll definitely be back in the future.

We were looking for a quick drink after being out on the river, on entering we were told to take a seat as it was now table service and someone would come over to take our order (no mention of needing a reservation). After 15 minutes of waiting we asked if we could order, the young man (lunchtime 8th August) told us that he would send someone over, after another ten minutes he returned to tell us that the table we were on was reserved and he didn’t know whether we could stay. Bearing in mind most of the outside terrace was empty this seemed a little unreasonable...appreciate that we hadn’t booked but we could have ordered and drank a drink in the time we were sat there. We asked if we could sit elsewhere so he wandered off again to find out. After another 10 minutes of attempting to catch someone’s eye and order we decided to take our business elsewhere. Unfortunate as we have spent a fair bit of money in here in the past, quite disappointed as to how unwelcome we were made. The whole experience made us feel like we were extremely unwelcome and felt the staff had generally been trying to avoid us!

Had an excellent lunch, unable to sit outside as we hadn’t booked, we sat in the conservatory which unfortunately was the hottest day of the year and not very pleasant but food and staff excellent and hasn’t put us off going again. Well done Waveney in these difficult times.

Awful experience, the food was strictly average! Even haven Hopton on Sea served a better steak!! I ordered their rump and ordered it rare, it came out medium to well done awful! I had to spit half of it into my napkin as I was in fear of choking! This was the most chewy steak I’ve ever eaten. We all had the prawns to start. Anyway it was our wedding anniversary so I didn’t want to complain. The best came when we ordered the bill for 2 adults & 2 children with starters and mains it was just over £115. We had water with our meal & my wife had 2 G&T’s so not cheap!I paid with my card and millie our server stated it didn’t go through so I tried again, then it was declined! I knew there was enough in the account to cover it, so I then became worried about fraud!!My wife then paid on our main account and it cleared fine.I was concerned and and worried throughout my journey back to our holiday home.I got back to our place and checked my online banking and it had been paid the first time on my card! Not only that it had also been paid on our joint account!! So we have now paid £230 for this awful meal. I rang the hotel to complain about what had happened, I was met with contempt and had to deal with an awful receptionist who explained this had happened on several occasions! She couldn’t do anything she explained that I would be contacted tomorrow.I was contacted by the senior receptionist? She stated that it had only been processed once! As soon as I got home I check both accounts and it had been taken from both, so she lied to me! I contacted her to explain the situation, she gave me misinformation, I spent an hour on the phone too both my banks and yes they had charged me twice!I requested a refund for one of the accounts. She chose to ignore this and sent me a copy of the message from the card company. Not only this my whole family had a bad stomach that night and we all had the prawns so beware!!!I requested a call from the General manager, did this happen NO! Instead I received an email. I have attached these for your perusal!They have accepted no liability and meanwhile I now have to wait for up to 14 days to receive my additional £115 back as I have currently paid £230 for an awful meal and we spent the night on the loo!!Not only that but the service and management are snotty and so self important and unwilling to accept it was their error!How is this the case at an average independent Hotel in Suffolk, really!! Ideas above your station such a shame as the location is outstanding, let’s hope you get taken over, by someone who can provide great food and 21st century customer service.Shame on you!!!Firstly, this ruined our anniversary

We spent three nights here, impressed by the disciplined arrangements to prevent spread of the virus: controlled movement and scrupulous hygiene. Staff were friendly and gracious throughout our stay.Breakfasts and dinners were delicious. The central riverside setting is idyllic - beautiful, serene and interesting. A variety of passing watercraft engaged our attention, and there is an interesting walk along the opposite bank.In short, it was a highly enjoyable experience.

Just got back from a wonderful lunch here! The food was great and the staff all working very hard, it doesn’t go unnoticed. The Gambas Pil-Pil is fantastic!!By far the most covid-friendly restaurant I have been to in town. One way system, all staff in PPE, sanitising stations and we noticed regular cleaning whilst we were there. Oh and they now serve food all day which i think is great! We will definitely be back!

Please, please never eat at this restaurant! The food was not worth the price and it was tasteless. The staff were friendly but the manager on this particular day (19.07.2020) was extremely rude when she approached me about my dissatisfaction. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Very disappointed!!

Just went to the Waveney for morning coffee. It has a great spot being on the river Waveney and in the summer you can appreciate the calmness of the river with a great view of the local countryside. In the winter the bar was warm and comfortable with really great service.

We had an enjoyable Valentines Evening at The Waveney House Hotel. Staff were very attentive even though they were busy with a large event and couple and small group visitors to serve. We would have liked a seated area near the bar for a relaxing pre meal drink, on the other hand we were able to go to our table straight away. No doubt in the fine weather people are on the outside terrace. Our bedroom was clean and spacious and overlooked the car park. The meals were well prepared with interesting flavours. An easy access to the busy market town of Beccles which has a range of shops and an interesting history. A good location - a short distance from Lowestoft and Norwich.

As always, great food and service at the Waveney, nothing is too much trouble. Staff are super friendly but professional. Our first sample of the new menu, can't wait for the next time

From start to finish we were treated like royalty, the bedroom was very nice .lots off room and very clean .All the staff are happy and seem to enjoy being at work ,all very helpful. My mother is 80 next year and very fussy, but very happy with the hotel .Thank you everyone at the waveney hotel .

Spend three nights in order to cover some River walks, excellent position, service was perfect, food excellent.

Had a truly lovely Sunday dinner here we was a large group of 16 adults and came with our car club on the 13th of October.we found all the staff to be welcoming and looked after us very well.The hotel is in a lovely spot on the riverside with a beautiful view.There was a good choice of food and good size portions my husband had roast pork and said it was the best he had in a long time We will definitely be back.A very big thank you for a very enjoyable meal we couldn’t have asked for more.

The Waveney is in the perfect riverside location whatever the weather. Good food, the best breakfast and lovely staff.

This place looks beautiful on the waterfront so thought ideal for Sunday lunch...popped in 12.30 and already they had run out of roast beef. Ordered a wing of skate instead and had the worst piece of fish ever (picture is how it came to table). Hardly any meat on it and dry both sides. Other dishes included the vegan mezze which had the smallest amount of shrivelled aubergine. We looked for staff to complain but large queues at bar and no staff walking around checking. We had paid at order and had waited long time so just ate and left feeling very dissatisfied!

For a family get together lunch where people have travelled far on a particularly hot bank holiday it was much appreciated to be looked after by staff with such efficiency. Sitting on the cool side of the conservatory we had a wonderful view of boats going up and down the river and were served with jugs of iced water whenever needed. The menu was varied enough to deal with any allergens and special diet requirements. This will be a restaurant to revisit with or without the family!

We met up with the family and had an afternoon tea and cathekes on the terrace right next to the river,the staff were very helpful and efficient.

We’ve just had a family reunion at this wonderful location. Situated on the river the location is idyllic. We had a large table next to the window over looking river on a lovely sunny day. The staff were very attentive and the food was excellent definitely want to come back again.

Stopped in late one evening for drinks And weren’t disappointed Lovely little place with a fantastic view over the river . Really peaceful late on an evening once the crowds have gone . Great accommodating staff , fast efficient service and quality .

We only had a cup of tea here while waiting for the ferry. Sat outside watching the boats sail by. Very relaxing place in a beautiful setting. Staff were friendly and we will go back but this time to eat.
