Popped in for cod & chips. Decided to eat in and was not impressed. The seating area had really bad fousty smell, tables uncleared, greasy floor covered in chips and an open top black in the middle of the floor. Being right on the seafront this should be be busy!! A good coat of cream paint to cover the dark brown and green, along with some pictures would help. The floor needs de-greasing and a good coat of varnish to help keep it cleaner. The fabric covers on the wooden seats are black and probably where most of the smell is originating from. Nice little gold mine if it was just brought up to a better standard. If you're eating here during the summer have your food as a take away.

The front at Western is really fantastic, they have really made it a lovely place to walk. it is away from traffic, you can ride your bike's or take the dog for a walk along it without it being on top of each other. It is also wonderful to be able to ride your mobility scooter and see all the sights. It has easy access to the beach, and stone seating, when you have had enough walking. There are cafes and little shops to go into along the strip.

Fantastic, lovely part of Weston, shame it doesn't have real sand rather than mud though ,lots of parking which you have to pay for.

Not a lot to say really, good food, fair prices. Always a queue, seating area gets bombed by seagulls constantly

If you visit Weston out of season there is ample parking at both ends of the town, however the parks can get completely full in peak times due to the resorts popularity. Weston has a marvelous wide promenade that runs along the seafront from one end of town to the other. If you have a mobility scooter or wheel chair it really is disabled friendly as you have ample room to drive along and view the huge beach and pier without running into a pedestrian every few feet. There are also a number of toilets, cafes, and other stalls actually on the beach. Also on a clear day you can see the welsh coast.

The Sea front is very neat and clean, easy access to the sand. The one thing I disliked about the sea front is nothing seemed to open until late in the morning and everything started closing early as well. No a place to go for the early birds and one would think that during the summer some of the beach front concessions could stat open a little later than 6pm.

We always have fish n chips at the Waterfront. For those needing to know where it is, it's the kiosk looking place opposite the Grand Pier. You're served from a window and often have to queue. Fish n chips in a tray is £3.95, it's cheap but it's really good food, you don't need to look anywhere else.

I queued up, with various other customers, to await my Fish and Chips, while my wife and children, eagerly anticipated our first 'Waterfront Experience' and how good was it! I've never had a piece of Fish as nice as I did here. The service was quick and judging by the queues it's a popular place..£3.95 for Fish and Chips is a steal, so head down opposite the Grand Pier for lovely food!

I see the reviews of this restaurant include such phrases as "nice smooth pavement" and "great for the kids on their bikes and scooters" or perhaps "Great for walking or wheelchairs if you are disabled" I wonder if perhaps people have got crossed wires here? The Promenade or sea front at Weston is indeed a huge improvement on it's previous state. Very smooth, great for skaters, bladers, bicycles or indeed any form of manual wheeled appliance. Even the lights are different with changing colours on the top of LED lights. Many different exhibitions and functions are held on the Beach Lawns including "Bike nights, with Hundreds of bikes old and very new all parked up for anyone to see, cars also classic or modern. If however there is a restaurant called the waterfront, I have no idea!

Excellent cod and chips for 2, freshly cooked, with a lovely glass of wine, very good price. Great service from friendly staff! We were very impressed. We've been to a number of fish shops in WSM and this is the best!

Local chippy that serves a large range of dishes including standard chip shop meals, kebabs etc. Serve very good from a group of younger friendly efficient staff. We collected our meals and the wait was only 10 mns for fresh fish and chips. Lovely food well cooked and good sized portions. The only reason they were not 5 star is the price. I found them quite a lot more expensive than my usual chip shop.

A great little spot for some fabulous seafood. My son and his friend shared some hot scampi and calamari which were beautifully cooked and presented with wedges and salad. My friend also sampled the cold mussels which she said were delicious. Nothing was too much trouble for the vendor who oozed personality and was very welcoming. We will be adding it to our list of places to visit on our annual trek to Weston Super Mare.
