Quite simply the best full english breakfast in the area. Nothing in Epping, Ongar or the surrounding area comes close. Well priced, friendly service and a wonderful fry up. The end.

Best pub in the south of England. Great night on St. Patrick’s night. Great music, great atmosphere. Really good Sunday roast too. Ellie is a great host. Worth coming from Seattle to visit.

Great selection on the menu, good size portions. The food was excellent, piping hot. Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. A lovely pub, visited with friends. Would highly recommend.

One of the best pubs I have ever been to. The owner was extremely accommodating and lovely. Locals are nice and welcoming! Owner even gave me some wood and kindling as I had run out on my houseboat! Definitely recommend this place and will be back!! Thank you all!
