Just popped in for Sunday lunch, lucky for us they managed to accommodate us. MUST BOOK .What a joy, proper Sunday lunch, beautifully cooked on very hot plates and a gravy boat! First class professional service by friendly front of house staff. As Arnie said " I'll be back".

The food both amount and quality was very good. Lots of potatoes and vegetables to go with the well cooked meats. The service was disappointing. Young girls who really need to trained on customer service - with such good food the service really did let the whole thing down.

Otro gran almuerzo de domingo, servicio y comida sabrosa y excelente. Elección de la carne o un poco de cada uno, muchas verduras (acomodadas a las incómodas que no le gustaban algunas de las verduras) de gran tamaño de porción también. Reservamos para el almuerzo del domingo hoy y fue fabuloso. Filete de cordero y verduras cocinadas a la perfección y con tan buena relación calidad-precio Personal encantador y muy eficiente, sin duda volveremos y le recomendamos que lo pruebe.

Absolutely stunning lunch ! Went down with an old friend lovely to catch up and couldn't of asked for better service and top quality meat cooked beautifully. A good choice of veg with mash and roasties including my fav, cauliflour cheese !! Spot on! Will definately be returning soon ! Thank you.

The 3rd time I’ve given this gaff a go... first 2 had to walk out because all the regulars are served, no matter who is next .... and lastly today as a pal came to visit me with his family and we were refused entry as he had an 11 year old , not even allowed outside . Luckily we were welcomed at the next bar down

Went for Sunday lunch today absolutely lovely. Two young waitresses they were stars. Took our order and food was delivered within ten minutes, lovely fresh vegetables,the mash was lovely so were the roast. Would definitely recommend for Sunday lunch. I do think it should be made known that you can preorder a lamb shank. Maybe put a sign up in the pub so people know. All in all a lovely experience. I know they finish serving lunch at three during the week but I’m sure if they served until six they would have lots of customers.

We went for Sunday lunch, the food was really lovely, really tasty. Portion size was just right. Vegetables were fresh. Hubby said there could have been a bit more meat. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Only thing I will say is that the coke I had was flat and there were no pale ales available. Will definitely be going again :)

Took my family for lunch on Sunday afternoon. Absolutely delicious. All freshly cooked with fresh veg and lashings of gravy

I really love a Sunday dinner and I've tried a few places dotted round Leeds, this ranks with the best! We didn't book but the staff found us a table and were very helpful throughout. We had roast beef and it was fabulous, perfectly cooked, proper veg and large portions. I was too full for pudding! At 6.95 you can't go wrong! Will definitely be making dinner there a regular thing!

First time I had eaten here, we had a table for 3 for Sunday lunch. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. The restaurant and bar is exceptionally clean. The food is 1st class. Will definitely go again and most of all recommend this lovely bar and restaurant. Thank you

We booked a table for 5 here for Mother's Day in the week leading up to Mother's Day. It was no problem booking, the restaurant was full when we arrived but our table awaited, we received a warm welcome and attentive service throughout. The food choice was roast dinner, which was fine for us, and there was lots of it, including plenty of really good vegetables. We also opted for a pudding, which didn't disappoint, and for £10 per person for two courses, you can't go wrong! The drinks were very reasonably priced too, which makes a difference to the person picking up the bill. As this was Mother's Day, they had gone for a couple of really nice extra touches - a Mother's Day card on the table and a small bottle of prosecco and some chocolates, oh and some chocolate mints at the end of the meal - it was really enjoyable and my partner and I plan to go back on a Friday or Saturday night. The Village Wine Bar looks lovely from the outside and lives up to its expectation when you step inside!

Called just after Xmas for a drink and a bar meal. Very friendly and pleasant welcome from the young lady behind the bar. Didn't see any craft beers, but the pint of tells smooth was very nice and great value. There's a very good selection of lagers available which obviously suits the regular clients. Really cozy with a real fire, just right on a cold day. Seemingly standard bar meals, all at a great price, turned out to be all freshly prepared and very well presented, no complaints from anybody at our table, service was quick and efficient. The two ladies managed a pudding and both were very happy with their choice. A great place to go for a drink and a meal, good value and service. Would fully recommend.

Items missing from order when I called they said they don't do it now so there's nothing they will do (false advertising). Pizza ordered with BBQ base extra and it came with a plain tomato base. NOT ACCEPTABLE

We didn't eat on this visit, however the bar staff were extremely friendly. There were many compliments made about the food, with many customers leaving great thanks. We would definitely recommend the village wine bar.

Was 25 mins late, chips weren't nice, ordered a donner pizza the meat on top was burned didn't enjoy, the Parmo was nice only good thing

Unfortunately the last couple of orders weren't very good. I ordered a stuffed crust and the pizza I got didn't have a stuffed crust. I have had garlic sauce that was still partially frozen and the food wasn't very hot. Won't be ordering again which is a shame as the delivery guy was really pleasant.

Half an hour late, stone cold, no chilli sauce and kebab meat sliced so thinly it was like eating wood shavings.

Food lovely as always! How ever after ordering once a week for the past 3 months now to be told we aren't allowed dr peppers which we've always ordered and when you have a drink option find it slightly rude! Not mention the fact our food has never been on time! Always had a wait never complained! Feeling very disappointed with service tonight! This issue should of been mentioned 3 months ago

After hearing good reviews and some word of mouth recommendations, we decided to give it a try. Now being from in town we have some decent and good pizza shops so we never really looked to order from Evenwood. The delivery time was spot on especially coming from Evenwood. The delivery man was very nice and polite and confident we would enjoy. Well reviewing the order I would say the parmo was maybe a little rushed. Chicken was ok but sauce was under cooked and too sweet. The pizza was good, special bolognaise but was small for 10inch and seemed to be loads of crust,probs close to 5inch of the pizza lol. The chips were under cooked again but edible. Wrap was very very greasy and had a very different taste to normal meat we get. But had worse. One tub of garlic sauce short too.i would say much better pizza shops local in bishop and that's what we gauge standard too. Overall wasn't the worst but just going to stick to our local takeaway.

Always have fantastic food from here however this occasion the food was very late due to unforseen circumstances that couldn't be helped. Because of this, the food was cold so it had to be re-heated but, it was still delicious. It won't stop us from going back to my favorite place with my favorite delivery driver!

Always a fan of the food quality however, today the Parmesan had tasted rubber-like. The pizza's were thoroughly enjoyable. Delivery time always seems to be insufficient. Delivery person very friendly.

Placed the order around 18:30 was given delivery time 19:45 it got here after 20:30 bearing in mind it's less than 10 mins away all the food had to be reheated and we asked for a free margarita like it says to in the comments box and didn't receive that👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Super quick delivery, food was red hot and really nice. Ordered medium chicken kebab, just not enough chicken! But nice all the same

Order was late I left most of the kebab that was in the calazone as it was dried out there was barely any cheese on it and couple of the chips were under done! Hopefully it will be better next time I order as this was a first but very bad!

extremely angry customer. ordered an XL chicken kebab to feed 2 of us, literally received 5 small pieces of chicken... that would even feed 1 of us. rang up to see what they could do to make it right and they couldn't care less and wouldn't help. good to know how they treat regular customers. that's the last time we will ever eat here. not to mention we receive our orders late every time. it's ridiculous.

Burnt and inedible food. Ridiculous delivery time. When I called to complain about the burnt food the guy admitted sending out overdone food to me. If you know it's overdone, don't send it out! After waiting almost two hours for delivery it's now too late to order from anywhere else. I've had decent food from here before but the fact they're happy to send out food they know isn't up to scratch means I won't be ordering from here again. And it's a Tuesday night, not a busy weekend when you'd expect mistakes to be made. Food has gone straight in the bin.

Chicken wraps with cheese and chip open the bad boy up build a chip wall , garlic sauce wrap back up and mully it. Awesome

Wrong food arrived, 12" ham and pineapple instead of a garlic bread. Delivery was slow, rang and was told they'd stick a bottle of pop in for our delay, delivery driver promised to drop it off the day after but still not been. I understand the driver was busy but I don't understand the food being stone cold. The food was cooked far too early. Such a shame as if it was hot it would have been nice. I can't mark cold food more than 2 stars.

Pants waiting 2 hours for a pizza was told 9pm at half past i rang they said 10 mins now hlf an hour later still no food at least tell me the truth and i xould come pick it up ! Unfortunately cant put no stars !!

Order was due for delivery at 7:30. It's currently 8:25 and I still haven't received my order. I rang to check where my order was. Customer service was rude and wasn't willing to compensate for the poor service. I would never order here again. Waste of time.

Order took almost an hour and a half to arrive, and when it did arrive it was a BBQ base instead of tomato. Not impressed as I usually have no problems! :(

Second time in a week of ordering, had the Parmo which was fantastic! It was so good I went to eat the other half I put away in the fridge for later and the wife had already eaten it!!!

The food was delivered at the estimated time and we enjoyed our meal deal and would definitely get it again maybe changing a couple of things.

I should have received a free garlic bread for ordering over £10. I requested it in the comments box like it says to do on the menu but they never sent one. This was annoying as I ordered an extra item to tip the bill over in order to receive it.

Don't bother getting Parmos from anywhere else. This place does the best Parmos in the area. I have to say they're on par with the best from the Boro!
