Wanted to find a new local cafe to go to after walks. We went here today for the first time & were told that dogs are not allowed in the cafe so we went elsewhere.

We arrived and immediately spotted another customer have her Spanish Tortilla and multiple delish salad bits served. My mind was made. We ordered that for me and a warming stew with dumplings for my partner. The service was fabulous, humorous and genuine. Fabulous lunch and we even bought a cake slice to take away 😊

Can thoroughly recommend this cafe. I stopped for breakfast when it opened at 9am and it was excellent with great staff as well.

So pleased that Cheddar village now has a cafe once again and what a cafe it is! We eat out regularly but my wife has a number of food intolerances caused by extreme food poisoning many years ago so most run of the mill cafes can’t cater for her. Not so the Village cafe. There was choice and quality topped with careful presentation and delivered with a cheerful smile by a team who clearly enjoy working together! As residents we will be returning and a campsite owners we’ll be recommending you to our guests. We’ll done to everyone involved - you’ve created a lovely place to both eat in and take out from Thank you Jules and Sandra

Had a lovely breakfast and coffee here, there is also a really good selection of cakes, and the sausage rolls are amazing. Staff friendly and very helpful.

We don’t live far from BOS so decided to drive down for a couple of hours. It was a very cold day so decided just to have some lunch then head home :-))) We noticed this little cafe and decided to pop in, there was a table right next to the window/door so we went to the back of the restaurant for some warmth, sadly the staff kept leaving the door at the back open even when my husband kept going and closing it. But apart from that hiccup the food was very nice, and I would return but when the weathers warmer :-))))

Superb atmosphere, the best steak I’ve had in my life! (10oz fillet) chef was so down to earth and welcoming - showed us different cuts of steak and told us about their source. Went above and beyond for service - orders taken quickly and all staff friendly and polite. Felt a very cosy and happy little village pub. Will definitely be back for more steak and the fresh salad bowls that come with it! :) Thank you so much ☺️

We went in to have dinner only to find they don’t do food. Waitress was helpful saying we could order a takeaway and eat in. Having 2 small kids, we decided to move on.
