Great location, great staff, great food - best steak ever and the staff were very attentive…definitely worth a visit

Very very expensive!!! Normally go to ship inn with grandkids and have a large portion of chips each five potions for £14 The View charged £20 for tiny little bowl and they were rank kids were still hungry afterwards never again will we be eating there hope they lose loads of customers due to their greed !! DO NOT recommend 😩

Booked on Saturday for the following Wednesday, arrived and restaurant closed, blinds down, no note on door, no call from the restaurant between Saturday and Wednesday to advise that they wouldn't be open and could not honour our booking. They took my number when I booked. Very poor customer service! Avoid disappointment/ rudeness / poor customer service and spend your hard earned money with a business that deserves your custom.

We booked a table looking out over the sea to celebrate my birthday. Unfortunately I had a bad stomach and could not make the most of it but partner's hake was splendid. Lovely atmosphere and good food. The evening was made extra special with a chorus of "Happy Birthday" and a lit candle in my ice cream! We will visit again next year.

Average coffee, gritty salad, greasy chips, sticky tables ….and all hugely overpriced. Would not recommend this restaurant at all.

My parents visited last summer and were disappointed, but we thought we would try again . Food overpriced and poor quality unfortunately. Chicken pie could have been mistaken for a tin of soup with a pastry top. My son’s tomato pasta was tinned chopped tomatoes mixed with pasta nothing more . Dad’s chicken burger was a shop bought tiny thing in a roll ! Lovely setting, friendly staff but sadly we won’t be returning.

Visited the restaurant this weekend and asked if they could do a take away Sunday lunch for my elderly aunt who cannot get out. They were so helpful and although they don’t normally do this they provided me with two very tasty takeaway Sunday lunches which made my aunts day - thank you so much Linda and Carly and for also finding my glasses

We tried The View in June whilst on holiday. It's a very attractive restaurant with sea views. The 3 non-vegetarian meals were very good and all served at the same time. The vegetarian salad however was an extremely disappointing experience. A 'starter' sized portion with a tiny amount of goat's cheese. It arrived much later than the other meals and I still had to wait for the bread rolls. By the time the bread rolls arrived (after 2 requests) my family had finished their hot meals. The manager didn't seem to understand why the service & the food were disappointing. A partial refund was offered but it was lacking in the spirit of goodwill and good customer service. So the overall effect of an evening meal at The View and the quality of the vegetarian food was poor. I wouldn't want other vegetarians to experience this.

Being local to Mundesley, we have enjoyed many a fine breakfast at The View but today we had lunch and it was delicious! We had Chicken Souvlaki Salad and Whitebait Salad with a side bowl of chips and sweet potato chips which were not greasy at all. It was all very tasty. They even had cold low-alcohol Adnams Ghostship which slipped down very nicely. The atmosphere is light and airy with interesting decor and the sea view cannot be beaten. The new waitresses Freya and Maddy served us. They are both very friendly and helpful especially as it was so busy. Excellent additions to the lovely staff.

The Cake the coffee the carrot soup all absolutely lovely however being asked to pay when we still had not received all of our order and if we would like to leave a tip did not seem quite right then waited another 15minutes for the soup to arrive well I will leave the decision to you

Courteous, friendly staff coupled with delicious food, a relaxing restaurant with a gorgeous view - what more could you ask for

Even through we had not booked ahead we were met at the door and shown to a table. Very friendly staff and water was produced for the table. A beautiful view from the windows and relaxed atmosphere and soft jazz music in the background. The menu was limited but the food was all cooked to order and so well presented. All the food, starters and main, were first class. Relaxed evening and no rush, I would certainly recommend this restaurant and we will be back again.

I was one of their first customers when they first started. Now I returned, what would I find. It was quiet inside, not many customers. The staff were very polite and the young lobby hosts were polite and friendly. A glass of water was offered to me, and this was fine. I had a burger, which was excellent, the chips were good too. I had a lovely meal and a good time.

View and meal were excellent in every way with wide choice and friendly staff The food was well cooked and presented

Had a lovely lunch with a friend and my daughter. I had the fabulous Thai curry (which is now a firm favourite) and my friend had a plant-based burger which she said was delicious. My daughter went off-piste from the menu and asked if it was possible to have a children's egg and chips. The chef kindly obliged and she very much enjoyed her meal - something that is often not the case as she's a fussy eater. The service was polite and a good time was had by all - including my friend's well-behaved dachshund who was warmly welcomed too.

We had a delicious Sunday roast, and one tasty nut roast, with two children and two dogs staff couldn’t have been friendlier and there was a lovely atmosphere, the dogs were served water as soon as we arrived. We will be coming again, thank you!

We visited the restaurant half way through the Easter school holiday and unfortunately were disappointed by the limited menu on offer for a Saturday night. A number of items were off the menu and even basics like naan bread were not available with the curry...

Visiting a local campsite. Went into Mundsley, and came across this lovely restaurant , the day before when out walking and stopped off for tea and coffee. Such a stunning view over looking the beach. Went back today and called in for breakfast, which was...

Just had a sharing plate, Tomahawk Steak, the meal was an absolute delight. Very big steak. It was cooked to perfection, staff were very inviting. Will definitely be returning. Hard to beat what they served. Well Done

What a fabulous Sunday lunch today (for my birthday but also on Mother’s Day). The food was superb and expertly served by very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend it and we will be eating there again whilst we are in Mundesley.

To celebrate our 43rd anniversary of meeting we visited the place we went on our first date. Now called the view, we went in and it was like many others we visited but….. the food was tremendous, not the menu you would expect. The lovely...

Worst sausage and bacon sandwiches we have ever had bread dry it said baguette on the menu we got ordinary bread. . Took 30 minutes and we had drunk our drinks before the food arrived. Tables sticky and food debris in the crevices rather pricey...
