I have had the pleasure of meeting Steve - the landlord - sadly to do with the passing of my husband. We were considering hiring his function room, sadly because of amount of mourners and the need for disabled toilets, we were unable to hire. I have to say that he was a gentleman, and very accommodating. I would not hesitate to book his function room if the need was required in the future.

You will always receive a warm friendly welcome. We often visit this establishment that offers traditional pub atmosphere with a lovely open fire during winter months. Can even watch sport there. They also do homecooked food during the day which I am yet to try but have been told its of a very high standard. It is located in the town centre and there is a car park right near the pub. Well worth just dropping in for a couple.

Apart from that prices are the best in Dunstable. Everyone is welcoming. Beer is great with four alternating ales through out the year. Beer festival up to 5 times a year and you can’t get service better anywhere else. We have a local business two mins away and were looking for a local pub after work. We went for pre drinks to scurry Xmas night meal. We had been there ten mins and only some of the group had ordered drinks, we were told if the rest of the group didn’t order we had to leave! Our first welcome to the pub! We were potentially regular users after work, now would never set foot in there. Thebar man was rude offensive and intimidating. If local businesses want to succeed you need to meet your publics needs!! Good luck to you if all you want is half a dozen d farts in there the same night after night, you just lost a local business using your venue as their regular local. This is why people do t bother supporting local businesses. Support your local community and they will pay it back, be rude, offensive and unwelcoming and you deserve to loose it all. Thebar staff eras clearly notbtge business owner his only saving grace, that set aside its infuriating when I support so much the local community and local shops but they slap you in the face. Good luck to you Is all I can say, will not support local again, not worth the agro

Limited food menu that seems to consist mainly of burgers. Real fire was nice though. Sadly no longer worth a visit really.
