The Venue in Mendip

The owners are a wonderful family. The Chip shop style menu is brilliant and well priced. Also does great takeaways and delivery. Lovely entertainment and pub sports venue, as well as a great home to many teams, clubs and community groups. Really great visiting The venue. Definitely recommended

This is a members club. darts pool & skittles.beer prices are not expensive. also very nice fish and chips served up or take away.

Wonderfull little place, like the tardis, it's big on the inside.

Oh my god, I have never been to such a good pub in my life! I walked in there with a few friends after hearing about the FREE TABLE TENNIS and thought I'd check to see if this was true, and, lo and behold, IT WAS!! The friendly and attractive staff escorted us to the table, handed us the paddles and even a couple of bottles of water! Me and my friends worked up such a sweat! We were literally there all day and the the only thing we bought was a packet of crisps for my mate Tom cus he got so hungry slamming ping pong balls about the spacious and well equipped sports area. Luckily, they were cool with us bringing in our own bananas to stay fueled up, and when they were closing shop they let us hang around for an extra 20 minutes so we could finish our tournament. So a massive thank you to Georgie and the guys for such a great experience, we have told everyone in Wells who will listen and hope this review helps get the word out to locals and tourists alike about this great and amazing FREE TABLE TENNIS SPOT!

I always find the venue club pleasant, good selection of drinks, relaxing atmosphere, nice sofas and lounge chairs. Good place to chat and relax 😀

Basic bar but has a good skittle ally. Drinks are cheap and good, but no attempt at decoration or good atmosphere
