Nice place for a beer, beer garden at the back. One IPA on tap. Nice atmosphere.

Grace was a fabulous barmaid, remembered our drinks and is lovely.

Only given 1 star as not allowed none, went here last week on a work trip and come away with my bank card being skimmed, trying to take 6k from my account, the only place ive been where my card would of been seen so 99% certain it was from here.

Went in on Saturday dinner time, very loud music.

Games room is filthy.... no room for cues to take a shot on the poo table l either....

I'm from Bournemouth and was around for a few days this place was amazing so clean and friendly I will be back

Under new management. The place is clean & tidy. Serves a good selection of real ales, lagers, wines, spirits. Plenty of TVs for Sports. Good music. Pool tables aplenty and a nice big beer garden.

Lovely bar. With a good selection of beers, spirits and cocktails. My wine was served in a really nice glass. And a fellow customer was enjoying a pimms with all the trimmings. A Courtyard garden.. which will look super in the evening with the garden lights that were being installed. Manager was welcoming and friendly. Visited on a quiet Tuesday afternoon but can see very popular in the evenings and weekends.

Clean pub and very nice beer garden. Football on 2 channels, not particularly of interest to us. Monday seems to be flushing the beer lines night, so we had something to watch. Shiraz wine was the most expensive of the town centre pubs we visited at £6.25 medium glass.

Wills a geeza and i love the place, the staff are so friendly and the manager and the barman keep the place absolutely rocking. Good pub. A barman called max is also nice

Under new management.Beer had some strange sediment in the bottom. Wasn't clear either. Replacement was just watery (wasn't served up). Women's wrestling blasting out from TV's at 6pm to almost empty place. Maybe news at that time or low-key music would have been more appropriate

Great fun - popular with a young crowd (at least on the Saturday night I visited) but also serving a decent pint of cask ale. There's an outdoor area where the party can spill over into in good weather so it doesn't feel too crowded.

New owners who have freshened the place up a little, nice atmosphere although were very expensive, £5 for a pint of Moretti ?? And £20 for a bottle of rose in a pub is far to excessive considering a year ago we paid £12.50 for a bottle of white in this same pub . It might be a ploy to price the young ones out from going in there ? The App being used for drink orders was far to slow ,30 mins to get a bottle of wine, surely quicker and easier to have waiter service . Hope it works out for the new owners .

A nice place to be , when all the pub's are field with tourist threw the high Street ,this is the pub to escape with great staff and locals .

It was very dirty, and the service was pretty poor, my experience in Addis Baba has been extremely ruined by this and I don't plan on ever coming back to Addis Baba. Because of how dirty this place is. #freetayk

What a fantastic place. We stayed here for a wedding we were attending in the town and the hosts were more than accommodating. Really good food, really comfy beds. We had made are booking through a third party online website we had proof of booking but the site had not contacted the hotel about are change of date. The hotel still made sure we had a great room and didn't charge us extra for the muck up. The rooms were very clean and well presented, cheap too. The pub is steeped in character and history. You can even see artefacts around the bar from when famous celebrities have stayed at the hotel. Overall really recommend

Well, the Rose and Crown is a good solid pub. Always busy, great atmosphere, excellent selection of spirits, especially Gins, well laid out beer garden. All in all, a fantastic little pub with great character.

Sweet find a pub with old fashioned values. In a world where all the pubs have gone posh & expensive it was nice to find a pub with home made rolls ready made behind the bar for a very small amount of change. We stopped for a pint & a cheese & onion roll & would happily go back.

Probably one of the best pubs in Wells. Fine selection of craft ales, lagers and ciders. Also wines and spirits. Charming rear garden with ample seating, lighting and even heating on colder evenings. Worth a visit when visiting Wells.

Went in yesterday for the first time, a gentleman was in there very drunk and loud, but causing no harm, he eventually got asked to leave, but not before buying drinks for the parasites accepted drinks of him, shame on them,

By far the best pub in wells (in my opinion). The choice of ale was brilliant and in very good condition. The garden is incredible, so bright cheerful and a great place to sip good beer.
