The food was amazingly delicious! Loved it! My daughter couldn’t have enough!

That was one of the best experience, food was fantastic, Staff i meant two Ladies served us i cant even say how friedly they ware. If i have to score 10 for 10.

Was passing and called in.plenty of parking..warmly greeted and seated in this spacious pub..menu had lots of good choices..i had a sirloin that was tender and cooked to my liking..my husband had ham egg and chips..it also came with peas..

It was really friendly and the staff were fabulous. The mushroom starter was FANTASTIC, but apart from that the food was a little bit disappointing for the price. The quid starter was tiny. Good pub fare, but a bit of a high bracket unless there is a bit more finesse. I reiterate though, brilliant staff.

All very good especially the food element. Staff efficient and friendly. Just a top pub and recent find for me.

Little gem. Independent i think. Not the widest opening hours and you'll need a car to get here. But good parking, fab staff and good quality food. Doesn't cost the earth. Lovely.

After being stranded in a flash flood, we were warmly welcomed. The staff were so lovely and so kind to my family, after a very scary encounter it was so heart warming to meet friendly faces. Thank you so much again

Very nice. Although the nut loaf had to much curry in it. Not a very good with sprouts & roast potatoes & gravy x Apart from that the starter & pudding was lovely . We were told near the end of eating our meal that they closed at 10pm . We should have been told when booking .it was our Christmas 🎄 party !

Good menu choice but veggie options only two choices although the online menu showed more. Surprisingly, a couple of non-veggie choices made on an early Saturday evening were not available due to commonly used ingredients not in stock. Friendly service. Food nicely cooked and presented, but a little more expensive than where we live. Two errors on the bill, but one cancelled the other out so neither party lost out.

Great Sunday lunch, generous portions and great flavour. Well worth it.

What a lovely pub. We stopped off, while traveling, for something to eat. The staff were friendly and polite. They told us they were busy and food might take a little longer to come out, but it wasn't very long at all. The menu had a good range of food and not too expensive. The food was lovely, I had the steak and ale pie with chips. The pie was lovely, plenty of taste and the meat was tender. The chips were perfect, crunchy on the outside but light and fluffy inside. My family enjoyed their meals as well and we all had the right amount of food. If The Bell was local to me then I would be going there for food regularly!

Excellent food and service . The restaurant was too hot though due to the hot Day and the carvery made it uncomfortable . Keep up the good work

Just had my favourite meal here and not for the first time. Their curry dish is excellent,its beautifully presented and you feel awful destroying a work of art. However it's delious.

On holiday and was told food was good . We ordered cod and chips and the southern fried chicken burger. The cod was so thin and approx 60% batter at a cost £15.45 and the burger was hard at a cost of £15.65. . Should of gone to kfc and the local chip shop . We had two dogs with us and not even a offer of water for them on one of the hottest days and no one came out to ask if the food was ok . Avoid this pub for food as we will now .

We haven't been to the Bell for a number of years but the new management team has transformed the service and quality of the place since they took over. We will definitely be going again.

Good pub in a convenient location. Food is good albeit portions are a little small but reasonably priced

THE BEST NUT ROAST EVER! We have been vegetarian for over 7 years and this is the best carvery and nut roast we have had. Great cauliflower cheese too. The roast potatoes will not disappoint, flavourful and crispy. A lovely setting with a pleasant beer garden and dog friendly too.

Simple food cooked well. Friendly staff. Good sized car park.

It was a family lunch for my husbands birthday. It was lovely . Great atmosphere beautiful food and they even bought some ice cream with a candle in it. Highly recommended. Will be back soon. Thank you for making his day special.

Was passing through when we noticed The Bell with a carvery. So went in with no booking they were fully booked but said we could have the carvery in the beer garden. Nothing was to much trouble and the food is excellent. Apart from collecting our carvery we had table service even in the garden. It is a shame we are not local or we would use them again. I would recommend them 100%

Nice meal again had chicken breast in mushroom sauce but could of done with a bit more sauce .staff very friendly and polite , come here often and never disappoints

Lovely pub, friendly and helpful staff, with a good selection of food choices. They have a seperate vegetarian menu (just ask for this) which has a few options that can be adapted to a vegan diet. The waffle dessert was so good! The pub is also dog friendly which is a bonus for those with four legged friends. We look forward to returning.

Mothering Sunday crowds. Despite this the service was excellent. Four for roasts which we all enjoyed and plentiful. One for lasagne, again lots of it and was told it was very good. Definitely go again but next time leave room for a sweet, they looked delicious.

Visited today with my family after my fathers funeral. I had the Daily special of Chilli con carne Honestly one of the best chillis I've had. In fact all of the meals were spot on. The gammon, the steak and ale pie, the sausage and mash, the lasagne and the burger all hit the spot. I will definitely be recommending

Stopped for a quick drink and had a couple of starters. Friendly staff and nice food. I had the tomato and Roasted pepper soup which was lovely.

Two of us went today, Christmas Day, for lunch. It was my first experience of eating out for Christmas. The Bell had a wonderful choice for the three course meal. Everything was great. The food and service were excellent. Well done to the fantastic staff for their hard work and fully attentive, yet relaxed and friendly service. I was delighted by my vegetarian choice of the nut roast. Everything was just perfect. 👏👏👏 to you all. I hope the staff have a wonderful Christmas and 2023. We look forward to our next visit.

A very nice pub that gave us a lovely Christmas lunch at good price. Salmon was especially good . The only reason not to give 5 stars was my very tasty gammon steak was not that hot. Extremely nice staff and all very organised as we had different meals and ir one person didnt have started one didnt have dessert.

What a delicious meals we had this evening, the curries were delicious, one very satisfied vegetarian meal, steak perfect desserts very generous portions. Owners staff very friendly. We also recently had a super prawn sandwich. Lucky to have The Bell local.

Nice dog friendly pub, very nice outside space and plenty of parking. Gave 4 stars because there was a guy talking very loudly to bar staff during our meal. I felt the staff should’ve given him less attention

Lovely pub that we briefly stopped at for a drink on our way to Cardiff. Staff were very friendly and had a great table out in the garden. Hope to stop there on the way back!

Great country pub with good food

This has to be the best carvery EVER. The food was so fresh and tasty. The restaurant was so clean and the staff just the most helpful ever with a special mention to Aura who was just the kindest helpful lady ever. Please don't drive past, stop and enjoy the most enjoyable eating experience.

The staff here are wonderful, helpful,polite and respectful. The grounds are huge with different areas, a pleasant courtyard filled with the scents of an array of flowers, another area with benches then a lawn with a quieter spot then children's play area and space to run around. Our dog was allowed off leash to stretch her legs and play (we were alone in the grassed area.) We had drinks, a bowl of chips and some garlic bread each. It was all very fresh, hot and the garlic bread was to die for - absolutely delicious with fresh garlic and herbs. The toilets, bar area and outside area were sparkling clean and I would certainly recommend The Bell pub.

Very friendly staff. We had a bike puncture and needed a spanner, which we got. We then enjoyed a drink in the large outside garden.

Spur of the moment decision to go out for tea and finished up at the Bell. Had a really pleasant evening. Good food, friendly staff. Plan to do a reccy on the Sunday lunch in the near future.

A very comfortable pub / restaurant, especially excellent for visits with family. We went on a Sunday which naturally meant the majority of us had a carvery. The meat was tender, vegetables were roasted to perfection and for those with a sweet tooth, the pudding was great. On a separate occasion I had the burger which was very good. Soft brioche buns, a flavourful burger with chips and a salsa on the side. For a family of 6 the price and the waiting time we’re both excellent.

Was very good, very helpful as daughter recently diagnosed Celiac, checked with kitchen and wanted to know more about it and talked to my daughter. Would have given 5 stars but coffee was awful, sorry guys.

Stopped off at this place on the way home from Dorset. Very clean and bright pub. Staff very polite, nothing too much trouble for them. Food cooked just right and value for money. Will visit again.

Wonderful friendly staff. We enjoyed the Sunday carvery. Nothing was too much trouble and we have a very fussy eater in the familly. We rang ahead and let them know the dietary requirements and they made something special for her. Brilliant and we will certainly come again.
