Had the best pizza in Cambridge. The place Is very clean and cozy, venetian vibes. The food is amazing, good quality for reasonable prices. The service is very polite as well.

Great wine, great canapés and even better service. A really special little find in an unassuming spot. Sometimes they have live music too. Definitely worth a quick glass of wine while waiting for a train!

Real Italian wine bar/café/restaurant. We had simple toasted sandwiches with wine, a dessert and coffee. All were excellent and served by friendly and efficient staff. We must return and try more from the menu. Food prices are very reasonable for the quality. Drink prices are on the high side but the quality is good. The location of The Venetian is great for out purposes, very close to the rail station and with the bus stops right outside the door it is handy whether arriving at or departing from Cambridge, and on a previous visit we simply had coffee here while we awaited our train departure.

A little gem of a place where you'll find genuinely good food and a wine selection that can't be sniffed at! I recommend speaking to the staff as their super friendly and knowledgeable! This is my new favourite place in Cambridge!

You don't expect to find a stylish, comfy wine bar right next to the train station, but this place more than fits the bill. You can get a cuppa or a freshly made meal, but the real star here is the excellent selection of wine served up by happy professionals. A great way to pass half an hour with a glass of wine while waiting for that train.

I was surprised to discover that pizza is prepared only in the evening; during the day, only ready-made pizza slices are offered. But in the end, the chef agreed to prepare three takeaway pizzas for me, explaining that they usually don’t do that ;)

I was recommended this place by my girlfriend as she did her wine tasting course from there. I absolutely loved the pizza and the wine. And the tiramisu is to die for! The staff was lovely as well. Would recommend this 10/10.

Second time here, we got a starter platter with cheese and charcuterie for 2 and they felt like preparing one for four and told us we were lucky. A couple of glasses of cannonau red wine, a pizza to share. Truly one of the best places for a glass of wine and some really delicious italian dining out. Also amazing for some tiramisu and an espresso. The staff is extremely friendly. Fell in love with the place. Only problem is that we don't live closer to be able to come more often.

We needed a place to wait for our train and The Venetian far exceeded our expectations.

This is the best Italian restaurant in Cambridge! Food is amazing, service is excellent and staff are very kind, caring and knowledgeable. It’s a dog-friendly restaurant and they always have treats for my dog. Highly recommended!

우리는 기차시간 때문에 30분정도의 시간이 있는 상황이였다.20분안에 음식이 나올수 있는지 묻자 나올 수 있다고 했다.음식은 우리가 예상한 시간보다 몇분 더 빠르게 나왔고,빠르게 나옴에도 불구하고 음식은 매우 맛있었다.또 물을 주는 서비스도 있었다. 맛있고 만족스럽게 잘 먹었다.

Disappointed in this great place being closed Sat Sun Mon.... that must impact on business and meant we stood gobsmacked at the door and headed off in search of another eatery... which was open working hard for customer loyalty. So owners do you think you can answer the criticism as to why, unlike local competitors, you cannot offer return customers a weekend feast?

Visited following Cambridge Wine Fair as guests of the establishment. Very well entertained. Incredibly well stocked with interesting wines.

Amazing coffee and authentic Italian food, they even have a deli counter where you can buy otherwise hard to find Italian cheeses and meats. My favourite lunch spot in Cambridge!

The Venetian is the best place where to have a unique aperitivo! The choice of wines and the food is great, it felt like being at home. The atmosphere is authentic and I look forward to going back soon

Very nice authentic Italian place. Food was great and drink selection really surprised me as they had lots of choice for sure. The only slight downside is that the restaurant is quite small and felt quite noisy, but that of course is a personal opinion. Great evening overall!

I actually like the cafe, it’s not usually too busy and feels like an actual Italian deli. Unfortunately they removed some of the vegan options so I can’t eat here anymore.

I used to come here as a student years ago when it was Zio Mario and was shocked to hear it’d changed, but absolutely loved my visit to what is now the Venetian! Very friendly staff who are extremely knowledgable regarding the wines and all the ingredients, plus absolutely delicious food and wines! I can’t wait to return!

A lovely selection of both natural and conventional wines to drink in or take home. Many and various Italian wines & spirits with a good selection from elsewhere too (mainly European I think). The team are incredibly knowledgeable and describe the wines really well in order to find something new to try based on your preference. They are friendly and passionate about the wine so ask for their help and don’t be afraid to try something that you haven’t had before. Italian cheeses, charcuterie, snacks and deli items are also available and everything we had alongside the wine was delicious. You can buy to take home as well and I think this is the best quality Italian cheese & charcuterie in Cambridge. Pop in and check it out. This is a site that has changed hands a couple of times in a fairly short amount of time so it might have improved a lot since your last visit. The new owners are doing a fantastic job!

Proper wine served by savvy wine lovers. No fuzz, just great wine and great food, so some will be disappointed by the lack of overpriced luxuries like corkage, etc. Favourite place in Cambridge (by far).

Amazing place! Great selections of wines. Domenico is very friendly and has a great knowledge about wines. It's he only place where I could find Vermentino di Gallura here in Cambridge. It was accompanied with farinata with pecorino and coppa ham on the top: not a nibble...a piece of art. These guys have raised the bar.

If you have a bit of time before your train then come here for your coffee. It can sometimes take time, so I don't come here when i am in a rush. It's far better than the chains thwt surround it

Very disappointing. Went out of my way to support an independent business and in return got one of the weakest coffees I’ve ever had and a mouldy tasting cannoli.

Don’t even know where to start complimenting this place.. from outstanding in mouth melting pizza crust to the in the end having only in Cambridge croissant with tiramisu filling 🤤👌 very nice and lovely staff too! Really glad we missed our bus- or we'd have never popped in here. Lovely deli/cafe - we only had a pastry and juice due to time constraints but I'd love to return when we have a bit more time. Very considerate and courteous staff as well.

I visited for a coffee and some cake a few days ago. The girl who served me was incredibly warm & friendly and made me feel very welcome. Lovely coffee and especially lovely pistachio ricotta cake. Amazing Italian snacks and ingredients in store. The other food looked good too so will be going back soon.

This cafe it's not the same without the uplifting and cool jazz tunes playing in the background in the morning as it used to be before the pandemic but it's still alright.

One of the best quattro formaggi pizzas I've had. Their paninis and focaccias are great too!

This place makes supporting local businesses a complete pleasure - it is well worth coming here over the the cafe Nero down the road. Good coffee, a wonderful focaccia which was comes served heated, and good selection of pastries. There is also an excellent range of traditional Italian soft drinks which provides a more interesting selection than just the typical large soda brands. I think the pricing is very generous ( I paid £7,90 for the focaccia, soft drink, coffee, and croissant) which is comparatively cheap compared to other Cambridge businesses. You would pay the same price for just avocado on toast at hot numbers! I would certainly be more than happy if the prices were HIGHER as I would like to see a good company stay in business. I think people don't mind paying a little extra to be able to sit and drink their coffee and enjoy the wonderful space while waiting for a train.

Nice coffee, friendly staff and tasty pastries. I visited with my baby, the changing facilities were standard but clean. They have some vegan options but not a big breakfast.

In my opinion, the best coffee Cambridge has to offer. Never have I had a coffee that doesn't have that bitter taste but still is extremely smooth and very tasteful. Also you have the option to have almond milk or soya milk in your drink as well as cows milk. I have been here a few times and will be visiting many more times.

Ordered the soup of the day and the farmers salad. The soup was was served way too hot to consume right away. As for the salad, although it was good, it was also quite small and wasn't served with bread sticks as the menu promises.
