The Vale Golf & Country Club in Wychavon

I was there for a wake. No diary free options marked. Had cold chips with cold chicken nuggets. My folks ate stale sandwiches. The little t lights under the food trays were dead. Almost empty ketchup and mayo bottles. It felt like they'd catered an event in the morning and just left the stuff out. Staff were nice and the place is looked after. I don't golf but the course looked lovely. Just figured if you're getting something catered there prepare to be disappointed.

Bed very uncomfortable BUT clean tidy and beautiful view and terrace over the lake so easy compromise to make. Friendly staff albeit restaurant closes early so don't expect to be able to get an evening meal. Still, peaceful and good value.

Just returned from a weekend at The Vale Resort (24th -26th April) which was unanimously voted by our group of 20 golfers as 'SUPERB' We, as a group could not recommend this resort enough. All staff throughout the resort were brilliant & couldn't do enough for us. A big shout out to the staff within the golf centre especially those working within the bar & restaurant whom enjoyed/joined in with our group banter over dinner each evening. With two well set out golf courses this is the perfect location for group golf. The Lake Course is set out beautifully with some attractive tee/approach shots. The Wales National is long but tight in places ensuring all our golfers needed to plot their way around sensibly to ensure a point for our three day team event. We will certainly return!

The course was very interesting, not in the best condition but like every were needs rain. All the staff were very good.

Absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish. Booked one of the lakeside cabins. Needed some help booking and William was amazing in helping me to make arrangements. Answered all my booking questions really well. On the day of the booking, was greeted at reception and given the room key and was given lots of helpful information about the site and local dining recommendations. We had lunch and breakfast the following day in the vale bar and it was 10/10 probably the best breakfast I've ever had in my life!! The cabin was spot on, just what we needed, quiet, clean, spacious, the attention to detail from staff and in the room is what impressed us a lot. You could feel a relaxing energy not just in the cabin but the whole site, I think this was helped by the fact the staff really put 100% effort into making sure clients have a good experience and you definitely feel their positivity and passion they have. We left feeling 100% and wished the stay lasted longer as we only had one night there. Highly recommend this place and can't wait to visit again in future.

Warm welcome, plenty of stock, great prices too

Very poor service and incompetent staff. Provided misleading information due to which we lost our booking. Told us we have a time to book until April 2025 , but once we called to book in January they said the voucher had expired and there is nothing they can do about it !

Myself and my wife were gifted an afternoon tea from a friend. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left, we felt spoilt by staff. The food was absolutely amazing, sandwiches ( little rolls ) were fresh and so tasty, the scones were served warm and the cakes were incredibly yummy and decadent. We were given plenty of tea and also a mini bottle of Prosecco. We couldn’t eat everything so took a doggy bag home. I can highly recommend this afternoon tea, one of the best in Evesham. Thank you ☺️

Had a fantastic day at the club excellent facilities the course is in great condition for this time of year the food and the service couldn't fault it made to feel very welcome

We stayed in the rooms on the lake. Beautiful location. We dinned at the club, though. We will definitely be going again.

Only went for a private function. Location was amazing. Bar prices were ridiculous though. Really let themselves down by charging far too much.

Have attended friends’ anniversary. Place is lovely, in a nice, quiet and picturesque location. Service provided was good. Needing a bigger dance floor…

Relaxing peaceful chalets overlooking the lake. Friendly place and nice breakfast in the golf bar.
