Food was lush, really good portion size for the money

Have had takeaway from here quite a few times but this order was pretty poor. Every dish was swimming in grease. Really not very nice even after draining it off.

Ordered for the first time and even though it was quite a large order it was delivered quickly, hot and food was delicious.

Very delicious! The size of the portion is enormous so I will happily enjoy again .

We’ve ordered from here a few times now and it’s always great. The portion sizes are very generous. The beef rendang is exceptional! By far the best take away in Melksham.

Sadly i have to leave a least one star... didnt deliver within the time which i understand can happen when busy. I called and they even said my order was on it's way but sadly never showed! This was a treat for myself due to money at the moment! 😔

Stunning food, and the server was exceptionally helpful with the food selection, if she recommends it order it.

Ordered based on the 20min estimate, got told 60-90 mins, turned up around 100. So that's not great. But the food itself was hot and good so all is forgiven.

Authentic and absolutely delicious. I had nasi goreng, beef sambal and tepenyaki aubergine and all were fantastic but the aubergine was like a soft and sweet party in my mouth.

First time in Melksham and this was the first place we walked into. We wanted a safe bet and this place delivered. We were the last couple to walk in. They were about to close and they stayed open that little extra and delivered to the table our first Malaysian meal. Absolutely fantastic. Spicy and full of flavour. The customer service was also impeccable. The lady that served us shared her wealth of knowledge on Asian cuisine which was so fascinating. Great place will be back again.

Lovely Malaysian food with big portions - and the service was brilliant and attentive - including recommendations for food tailored to your liking. Particularly enjoyed the Kung Po chicken and Kam Heong prawn. The salmon teppanyaki was great as well.

Wonderful food prepared and cooked by Joyce. A wide variety of choices, any of which can be tailored to your own personal requirement. Truly something for everybody. It's all good, we go as often as we can.

First time ordering from here. Great tasting food, plentifully sized portions. This time we tried Katsu Curry, Tempura Veg and Sushi rolls. Looking forward to trying more.

I asked for a slight adjustment of more sauce in one of the dishes and to remove a vegetable I don't like, and woman who seems like the owner told me I had to have it as it comes. Not sure what people with allergies do then. Also she snatched the prawn crackers away before we'd finished, so she seems a bit rude. Which is a shame as the chef seems very good, as the food was very nice, even though I had to have an ingredient in it I didn't like and didn't have the extra sauce either. I also don't know what it's called, as menus say it's called The West End Inn but the receipt says it's The Unicorn.

I have eaten the Malaysian food from this place many times and it always impresses. Unique flavours, delivered quickly and always tastes freshly made. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

Always enjoy the food here. The curry Laksa is so tasty, I get Joyce to make it mild for me so do ask if you need to adjust dishes to your taste, they are always happy to help.

We had the set meal, which was not only tasty and well-presented, but generously portioned too! We took home enough for lunch for two as well! Service was also very attentive and the music full of throwbacks which provided many talking points!

I was disappointed with the salt and pepper chicken as I couldn't taste it at all. Wouldn't recommend the yum yum chips, they had sugar added to them - not for me I'm afraid. I ordered them as there was no description on the menu and it caught my eye. The other food was lovely but I don't understand the rave reviews, sorry. Delivery was super quick, can't fault that.

Tho the food was pretty tasty there wasent enough to justify £70 for three people, all had bad tummies the next morning such a Shame as it was my birthday meal.

Fantastic food and plenty of it. We enjoy dining in at Unicorn Bar & Restaurant @ The West End Inn and were delighted that the takeaway food was of the same high standard that we are used to. Simply delicious, thank you.

This was the first time we’d ordered from here….it will be last also! 6 Chicken balls which were so greasy yet the small piece of chicken which I don’t believe it was by the way was really hard n over cooked! They were the size of 2 usual chicken balls with about 10% of over cooked meat in it. The batter just dropped oil! Prawn toast…was literally what it says…whole prawns crushed between 2 pieces of bread and then with some weird sauce poured all over it! Vile again we couldn’t eat it. The char su fried ri e was boiled oh grain rice which was just a clump all stuck together with not frying at all! Bits of pork on top with what seemed like gravy on top. Again inedible! Honey Roast Pork with BBQ sauce this was not as expected but it did have some flavour to it..I could eat some of this. As for everything else…inedible! Vile the mouthful we managed to have was literally all we had and it was a birthday treat….one we won’t forget sadly! £35 this meal cost and I wish I never had..total waste of money and ruin of what should have been a nice birthday treat 🤬

Food was tasty but some dishes cold, asked for delivery at a specific time and came 20 minutes early which meant someone wasn’t able to eat with us as they hadn’t yet arrived

Great choice of food. Most of the food I ordered was very nice! Only thing for me was that I didn’t enjoy the Octopus from the appetisers. It was tasteless and the “octopus” inside was the size of a small pea which was disappointing.

Great service, great delivery however the food was unfortunately not great, very bland, the deep fried. Fish and Veg has batter that was just greasy and it ran out as opposed to being crispy and crunchy. The appetisers were great, the miso soup lovely just that main plate really was not good
